Pinball
Pinball
Edit: It looks like the Pinball located at https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/pinball-2 shows up in searches again. Thank you.
Can we get a generic "Pinball" or "Pinball (Mechanical)" category?
The Pinball category that most of the community streams in at (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/pinball) was apparently linked to the Pinball (2017) Wii U game on IGDB.
A few requests for edits to change the information to reflect just generic Pinball as a category were denied. One reason said it was a duplicate. A second reason was that it belonged to the Wii U game (I've never seen anyone stream Wii U Pinball, but tons of people stream regular and vpinball).
It would make most sense to have used this existing category because it is already an active streaming community on Twitch.
Sometime in the past 24 hours (on 2/26/25), https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/pinball was removed as a category and changed to https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/pinball-2 The new one doesn't come up in search results for Pinball though, so it's hard to find.
A fix would be appreciated!
