1. Emote menu colour

Emote menu colour was changed to a mid-light gray on dark mode, and it makes emotes look so washed out through it. Please change it back to match the regular stream chat background.

2. Change Clips back to the way it was before

In the past when i wanted to make a clip in a Stream it would open up in a seperate tab making it easy to navagate and make clip. I don't like how Twitch changed the clip option , i don't like the new layout. Please Twitch change this option back to the way it was before.

3. Report box for inappropriate behavior in chat

I propose adding a reporting box in Twitch chat to quickly flag inappropriate behavior. Viewers could select a user, provide a mandatory reason, and send the report directly to moderators. Moderators would have three sanction options: warn, temporary ban, or permanent ban. Reporters would receive a confirmation notification.

This feature would make chat safer, help moderators act faster, and create a healthier community experience.

4. "Ask Your Questions" button for FAQ streams

I suggest adding a feature for Q&A-style streams where an "Ask Your Questions" button automatically appears under the chat leaderboard when keywords like "Q&A" or "Questions and Answers" are detected in the stream title. Viewers can click the button to submit their questions, which are sent directly to the streamer after a short countdown and automatically deleted at the end of the stream.

This would make Q&A sessions more interactive, organized, and easier to manage, while keeping the chat flow and confidentiality intact.

5. Translate Comments

I’m surprised this isn’t already a feature, but Twitch should really offer automatic translation for chat. I follow streamers from all over the world, and it would be incredibly helpful if comments were instantly translated to English, rather than having to look everything up manually.

6. The Role of Feedback in Building Stronger Online Communities

Online spaces thrive when users feel their voices truly matter.
Platforms that open the door for suggestions often become more resilient over time.
Buy High Value Finance Backlinks https://pearllemon.com/buy-finance-backlinks/ becomes part of this larger conversation about how communities contribute to shared growth.

On Twitch UserVoice, for example, feedback is broken down into clear categories.
Users can navigate areas like account management, safety, or streaming tools.
Each section reflects different needs and priorities voiced by the community.
Some ideas gather hundreds of votes and spark long discussions.
Others may sit quietly, waiting for attention or updates.

This uneven pace highlights both the strengths and limits of open feedback systems.
When ideas are acknowledged, it builds trust in the platform.
Yet when silence follows, frustration can creep in among contributors.
Still, the structure itself invites thoughtful participation.
A well-phrased suggestion can rally others and gain traction.

The design allows people to see not only their own concerns but also broader patterns.
In that way, the platform becomes a mirror of the community’s collective voice.
The challenge lies in maintaining responsiveness from the other side.
Without dialogue, suggestions risk feeling like messages in a void.
But with consistent engagement, they can evolve into meaningful updates.

For many, simply being heard is the first important step.
It validates the time spent sharing ideas and experiences.
Even small changes acknowledged by a platform can inspire loyalty.
The process is not only about solutions but also about connection.
Users and developers both benefit when feedback flows openly.

8. Reducing spamming with chat delay feature

Feature Request: 30-Minute Chat Delay for New Accounts in Streams with Fewer Than 10 Viewers to reduce spamming activity

Hello Twitch Team,I’ve been observing a growing problem that’s really hurting small streamers, especially those with fewer than 10 viewers. Spammers are targeting these streams using brand-new accounts—created within the last 24 hours—to flood chats with scam messages. For example, I’ve seen messages like:"Hey Fam ♥ I followed you ♥ Do me favor Can you please Use Cõde 'KRME' in the item shop, ♥""Supppp! Can you use my Cõde 'paf2' in the item shop? It would mean a lot to me! ♥ I’ve already followed you back – thanks a ton!"These spammers join the stream right away, often before any moderators can react, and their messages disrupt the community while promoting fake codes or scams. Since small streams typically don’t have dedicated moderators, this issue is even more challenging for them.My Suggestion:
I propose adding a 30-minute chat delay for accounts that are less than 24 hours old, but only for streams with fewer than 10 viewers. Here’s how it could work:When a new account joins a stream with 9 or fewer viewers, they’d need to watch the stream for 30 minutes before they can send messages in chat. After 30 minutes, they can chat normally, ensuring they’re likely genuine viewers. This delay wouldn’t apply to streams with 10 or more viewers, so it won’t affect larger communities. Why This Helps:
This feature would act as a shield against spammers by giving streamers and their existing viewers a chance to spot and report suspicious activity. It protects small streamers who are just starting out and don’t have the resources to manage constant spam. By limiting the delay to streams with fewer than 10 viewers, we avoid inconveniencing bigger streams that already have moderation teams in place. This could make the Twitch experience safer and more enjoyable for everyone, especially new creators. How It Could Be Implemented:
The system could automatically detect the account creation date and the stream’s viewer count. If both conditions are met (account under 24 hours old and stream under 10 viewers), the delay kicks in. Streamers could also get a notification about this feature to help them understand why some new users aren’t chatting right away.Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and consider my suggestion! I really believe it could make a big difference for small streamers on Twitch.

13. Designing for the Moments That Matter

Whether you're a streamer or a viewer, the way a platform feels can shape the entire experience, this is where an experiential designer (https://pearllemonexperiences.com/experiential-design-agency/) can quietly influence everything. They're not just focused on visuals, but on crafting interactions that feel intuitive, responsive, and, most importantly, human. On Twitch, that emotional layer is part of what keeps people coming back. It’s the click of a follow, the rush of a live raid, or the comfort of chat lighting up during late-night streams.

But too often, those moments get disrupted by features that don’t quite land. Maybe it’s a cluttered UI update, or a moderation tool that feels more like a roadblock than a resource. Twitch thrives on connection, yet parts of the experience can sometimes feel oddly disconnected. It’s not always about flashy new additions, sometimes, it's about refining what already exists. Listening to feedback, especially from users deep in the trenches, is crucial.

Users have been raising concerns about discoverability, chat safety, and the inconsistent rollout of features. These aren’t just minor issues, they directly impact whether creators feel seen and supported, and whether viewers can engage meaningfully. Twitch has always been at its best when it embraces its community’s voice, not just as consumers but as collaborators in design. The real value lies in thoughtful iteration, not just innovation for its own sake.

Of course, it’s easy to criticize from the outside. But Twitch is uniquely positioned to pioneer more community-centric development. The forums here prove there's no shortage of insight, creativity, or willingness to contribute. The challenge is ensuring that feedback doesn’t disappear into a void. People want to feel like their input has weight, that it reaches the people who can make meaningful changes.

The current channel icons for shared chat are helpful, but as a streamer I still find it really easy to miss viewer's commenting on a specific stream. Maybe the chat messages could have a different color tint depending on the channel or something like a message highlight for the channel the user is in. I just want it to be easier to see when someone chats in the channel I'm active in.

20. Should Twitch improve live event safety with professional on-site security?

As Twitch continues to grow its live event presence, the need for reliable, professional on-site security is more important than ever. Static and unarmed security personnel can play a key role in maintaining safety, deterring threats, and managing crowd control—especially in high-traffic or unpredictable environments.

Our company, Noble Security Group, provides static and unarmed security services for commercial properties, construction sites, residential communities, retail spaces, and more. We help ensure round-the-clock protection and peace of mind in all kinds of public and private settings.

Twitch events could significantly benefit from the presence of trained security professionals to protect attendees, staff, and assets. Would Twitch consider adopting better security protocols by partnering with specialized providers?

More details about our services can be found at:
