  1. Hey,
i thought about the option to create custom Usergroups in Chats with the option to save comments about a User. That would help creating an onboard Raffle system for CommunityGames and some other stuff with a Gamebalance.

For Example: User XY writes !CMD Valorantelo=2 (silver) Rocketleagueelo=3 (whatever) and the Creator can use it as a filter like !GetNames Valorant_elo=2 to get only user in this area of skill.

  2. Make The In-Game Overlay adjustable to fit with different size configurations of monitor selections. It should be an adjustable slider to change the font and size of the entire in-game overlay. (This is regarding the Twitch Studio Beta app)

  3. Chat Roulette Style View Partying/Chat Sessions:

Take random/anonymous people from chat and have them video/voice chat with each other and allow them to decide whether or not they want to rope more people into their convo too (so it's not so convoluted/everybody talking at once, you know.) Allow streamer to make parties/rooms if desired etc.

Muscle away at the use of Discord, Zoom, Hangouts (whatever the kids are using these days), would be convenient way for streamer's communities to become "stronger", more "together". Enjoy the shared viewing experience more a more authentic capacity than text and spazzing out with emotes/ascii…

  4. Already back in the golden days of IRC - late 90s, early 2000s, it was common sense for both IRC network operators, and custom bots run to moderate channels, to have built in protections against hateful and disrupting attacks and other common abuse of the service.

These kind of protections would include mitigations against:

    • Mass creation of accounts

    • Trying to connect to the network too many times from one IP

    • Too many joins/messages/similar to a single channel

    • Mass spam from multiple automated or manually operated actors

Twitch should look into the already widely adopted best practices and implement similar practices…

  5. We talked around and came to the point that we checked who wrote the most messages. We figured out that twitch only shows 999+ messages at the viewer dashboard you have in the mod-view. Would be awesome if this would get extanded

  7. Block all links automatically that are not trusted/owned by twitch and make the streamers manually add links they trust to a whitelist for whispers and their twitch chat

Noticed for the past 2 years that there has been active group DDoSing old school runescape streamers with fake lookalike ip grabbing links, like clipstwitch .live, imgur .us, gyazo .nl and yȯutube .com and they dont even get punished for it

  8. *Under Settings > Security and Privacy > "Hide Progressive Gifter Badge and Gifts Given Count" it's possible to be removed from Gift Subs leaderboards across Twitch - however, there isn't a way to be removed from a leaderboard in one specific channel.

At the moment, it isn't possible to be removed from Bits leaderboards at all.

Q: "Why not just be Anon?"
A: It's nice to receive a direct "Thank you" from a streamer. But I don't want to be compared with others on a leaderboard.

  9. My idea is for my Channel.
For the scoreboards Top Reset annually.
Why? I want my Community, they give something back they support me for a year.

Unfortunately I can't reset. Because you have few option
    Daily

    Weekly

    Monthly

All the time ( if you turn this on, everything comes back. )

I would like to see a possible present of.
    - All-time okay.
    - Annual TOP total Bits / Gifted subs total standings.
The winner Those who receive a nice present at home.

    Extra option
For this, twitch needs to add an extra match field.
    Match top Bits/Gifted subs.…

  11. The automatic link parser is rather overzealous. It currently interprets any sequence of alphanumeric characters, a dot/period, and more alphanumeric characters (with no spaces in between) as a link. As a result, any time someone forgets to put a space between two sentences, or deliberately types something like "notbad.jpg", it gets turned into a (broken) link. Furthermore, if the streamer has link filtering turned on, such occurrences will result in the entire message being blocked when there's no actual reason for it to be.

The link parser needs to be smarter. Maybe make it require either two dots/periods with characters…

  12. Please add to the Bit and Gift Sub leaderboard the option for Annual Time Range, would be a nice extra touch for broadcasters like me that like to recognize long term support but also want to give people the opportunity to get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at least annually.

  14. When the connection is lost for a considerable time, when reconnecting, a button can be pressed to reload the transmission but the chat keep frozen. The quick solution is to close the chat and open it after a few seconds, but it would be good if the reconnection is detected and the chat reconnects automatically as when the connection is lost for a few seconds.

  15. The mod icons are very quick and easy, however a 600 second timeout can be very lengthy. I propose you allow mods to edit how many seconds a user would be timed out if they press that button. How it would work: near the area to turn on mod icons add a feature where the mod could input a number of seconds they want the timeout to be. This would apply to anyone they timeout. Ex: If a mod puts 60 seconds in that area, every time they press the time out button in that chat, a user would be…

  17. Please, Twitch, I'm begging. Get rid of Emote Only Mode!!! A few emotes are ok, but nothing but emotes is just ridiculous! I go to chat rooms to CHAT not post silly pictures. I want to talk and emote only is a waste of my time.
So just get rid of it. That's all. I hope I'm not the only person who feels this way.

  18. THIS IS A GOOD IDEA

Since there can be people posting bad words on chat and they can use so many variations which can make it hard to filter out, the best way would be to secretly filter out those bad words

Example: someone types the word “simp” if they see it does not post they would use a different way to spell it, but if they see their message is posted though it is secretly hidden meaning the user can see what they posted but nobody else would, they would not try to spell it in other ways

  19. I have the nsfw filter on because it filters random words sometimes and I find that funny. However, when I wish to view the word that has been filtered, the text box and "show message" button appear below the word, but if the word is the most recent message in chat, I have to wait until a few more people post in chat to view the word. I think the text box should appear where it is clickable based on where the message is in chat.
