Allow subscribed users to use verified accounts only chat Hi,
I'm currently subscribed to two channels but cannot talk in chats that are restricted to verified accounts only.
Also, I don't want to give my number to Twitch : I'm already giving my email and my credit card details. And I'm not the only one not wanting this https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/933812-safety/suggestions/44254764-do-not-require-a-phone-number-to-be-a-verified-acc.
Here's my suggestion :
-> I would add an option to allow streamers to authorize subs that donc have a verified account to join verified account only chats. Sub-only is usually too much and rarely used on the streams I watch.
At least, I would like to know why…

How to defend yourself on the channel ecently, we have noticed a number of malicious users posting obscene comments, reporting the channel, and having the channel suspended.
When the distributor is busy or the moderator is unavailable, the channel is suspended before the comment can be deleted.
We request an AutoMod for the number of characters in comments to prevent this behavior.
If the number of characters is too large, we would like it to be put on hold.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

discrimnation phone verify Im a prime amazon member, my details are on my account. Why should i put my personal details again for a chat?
Also, if you put your number on the chat. Who keeps those details? It seems to be taring the same brush as those who want do harm to streamers with blanket restrictive measures. Those who never broke TOS should be exempt and not discriminated with exposing there privacy.

Ban the word "Colonized/Gekoloniseerd" and variations of it. It's kind of crazy that this is even allowed to be used. It's used by the Dutch audience when there is Dutch content or a Dutch sounding person on stream.
I get that they want to be like PogU a Dutch person but using "Gekoloniseerd" is not the appropriate way of doing it. Colonization has deep rooted history in ***** trade and the repression/massacre of native people.
I would like to see Twitch put in changes to prevent this from being used.

Please do not permit the racist word S***o Hi there,
As an IRL fishing streamer - The word S***o is a very common nickname used for Samson fish that I catch (Please just Google Samson Fish nickname, I don't wish to get into trouble). You will find that 99/100 Australians will call it this nickname, probably me being the only 1 who will now only refer to it as Samson. It is going to be very difficult to avoid audio capturing of someone using the nickname for this fish live on my streams, when I engage with random people in public.
This only just came to light recently…

The panels from the mod view that overlay the stream start flashing making it impossible to interact with them or even see their content

Add "politics" to the AutoMod menu This function is intended for filtering political discussions or statements in the chat.
To this day, the streamer still has to point out in order to prevent such things in the chat. It is also not uncommon for political debates to continue in the same stream. So the creator and moderators need to watch out for people who don't follow the streamer's words.
This function can help the creator and moderators to keep the chat clean.5 votes -
Here's an idea...stop randomly locking users out of chat to harvest phone data It has been two weeks since Twitch locked my account out of chat and told me they require a mobile number to unlock it.
I was asked to submit a ticket and the first response I received said
"Please note that Twitch Support is unable to bypass the need for phone verification on your behalf. If phone verification is enabled by the creator and you are not exempt, you must complete the verification in order to chat."I had already confirmed with the streamers that they did not change any verification settings. Even if they had, it would mean that…

"Suspicious User monitored by" appears on seemingly random users. Moderators and long term watchers are marked with "Suspicious User monitored by" followed by nothing. There does not appear to be any ban evasion or similar involved, and no reason is given. Users marked as suspicious in this way do not appear in Suspicious User Activity. Seems to only occur when using channel point redeems.

emote com bandeira GayPride o nome do emote gera conflitos com as configurações de alguns canais, pois o streamer bloqueia a palavra "gay" para evitar ofensas mas acaba banindo o emote por consequência

Stop holding chat privileges ******* behind putting in a mobile number . Stop holding chat privileges ******* behind verifying a mobile number. There is no reason for this except to sell them to spammers and scammers. Some people don't even have mobile phones and can't verify.
This is one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen a company do.

Friendly Timeouts That don't produce a suspicious activity label on viewers I'm sure I'm not the only streamer that does this. But I have a Tarot card reward in my chat, and one of the possible Tarot cards will mute you for 30 seconds. When I initially made this reward, I was not expecting one of my VIPs to be marked as "Suspicious."
As a result, I'm now worried that people on my channel, or any channel, that uses similar rewards may cause people to be labeled "suspicious" just for playing games on a stream.
My suggestion: Do away with "suspicious activity" on viewers that have only received timeouts for small…

Randomly asking users for their phone numbers should not be a thing I contacted Twitch support about this and they told me to leave my feedback here. So here it is.
Randomly asking users who have never caused any trouble on Twitch to verify their phone number to keep participating in communities is not a nice move. In fact, I'd call it an a-hole move. This does absolutely NOTHING to keep chat safe.
Ask people who are banned in multiple chats for their numbers, I don't care, at least then you have a proper reason. What Twitch is doing right now, however, -- and it's affecting not just me but a significant…

Use a better way to keep chat safe - do not kill the incentive for users to be active Problem (background):
I have for some reason (and unbeknownst for me) been singled out for this forcing of phone number verification. None of my friends have this issue and I have no idea why my account was chosen for it. I've had my account for a couple of years without any problems, I have never done anything bad - on the contrary, I'm one of these persons people really like seeing in chat because I constantly hear "you bring such a good and positive vibe", "you're important to our community" and other comments like that.
With this Twitch is forcing…9 votes -
Phone number verification on chat Hello for whomever is reading this my account on May 26th-27th got experimented on by twitch with phone verification and I personally with no phone or phone number now can't get into my account to this day I've contacted twitch support and they didn't help me at all, this may be a pretty decent idea if everyone actually had a phone number but a lot of people in this world does not. If someone from twitch that can help me please reach out to me thank you and have a good day!

Chat Verification should be possible even without mobile number Chat verification should be possible without mobil number verification, if a streamer trust a user. Otherwise lot's of people who do not want to give out their mobile number, could not be an active member of the community anymore. And the streamer and twich as well are benefit from active user, which are chatting and make the platform more interactive.
I understand that new and unverified account should not be able chat directly everywhere, but for twitch users which a following a streamer a very long time, it should be possible to allow them to chat.
So maybe the streamer…3 votes -
Allow Mods/Editors (or just the streamer) to block people from viewing the stream So I am a mod for a streamer and we had a situation that there was someone that knew the streamer irl and the streamer preferred for them to not watch their stream. It would be great if there was a feature to restrict them from watching.
This can also help on restricting known doxxers from doxxing streamers if the streamer knows their accounts.

Support the LGBTQ+ community by removing ban of the words "Gay" and "Transexual" Hello, I have recently discovered that Twitch considers the following words to be against content guidelines:
Gay
Trans
TransexualI am asking that these words be whitelisted in support of Twitch's vast queer community. It can be assumed these words were banned to cut down on trolling in the communities. However, I feel it should be the people who misuse these words who are regulated and punished. Not the queer people who's identities are being attacked and invalidated by having these words banned. This month is pride month and Twitch is showcasing queer creators on the front page every day…

Experiment - Verified Chatting If Twitch for example does an experiment with having verified chatting in every stream please give us a notice on socials or even on Twitch itself. Also an option to opt out of it would be nice but I understand that verifying your phone is the future of Twitch. Since this test is not being done to every Twitch user only a select few I think it's fair to have that opt out option. A percentage will just verify phone and that's the data that Twitch wants anyway.
It's been over 24 hours. Still can't chat and the sad part…

Banned Accounts When someone is reported for whatever conduct they are reported for Twitch, staff should have a way to see all the accounts chat logs for other streams and handle accordingly. Since Mods have chat logs within streams I would expect something similar that can flag their comments in all streams when banned as their chat logs are still active even when banned and it'll be easier to compile if needed to report to said agencies. I mention this as when I have reported over hundred pedophiles on Twitch trying to groom and exploit kids, you see their comments in a…
