roles Create and Manage Custom Moderator Roles with Configurable Permissions
Currently, the moderation system on Twitch is somewhat limited: you can only differentiate between regular moderators, editors, and VIPs, without much granularity. My idea is to allow content creators to create multiple roles in order to better organize their moderation team and assign each role specific permissions.
Example Roles
…Head Moderator: Has full access to all moderation features (ban, time-out, delete messages, edit stream title, etc.) Moderator+: Possesses most permissions but may not have access to critical options (e.g., managing roles or configuring alerts). Moderator: A standard role that can moderate2 votes -
MOd Levels / Super Mod Would like to give specific mods extra privlidges, like a Super Mod to control other mods and channel specific things.

Mod action log for specific moderators Implement a Mod Log for each individual moderator of a channel so you can see what actions that specific moderator has done in the channel. So lets say you do /user xyz and he/she is a mod in the channel, then there is a tab next to mod comments that would say something like "mod actions" and it shows all the things that mod has done in the channel, for example changing the title, banning / timeout x user etc etc. This would make it easy to see who is actually doing a lot of moderation work and who is…

Option to only see one streamers chat during Shared Viewership in modview With big collabs it becomes really hard to read chat and filter out the messages you are supposed to mod, in the chat you are modding for. especially when the two streamers have different chat rules for example allowing caps or not.
So it would be great to have the option to only see one part of the chat for easier moderation2 votes -
Review the Banned/Prohibited Games list to permit streaming Second Life Second Life has remained on the Prohibited Games list for an exceptionally long time, and in most cases I would agree that it belongs there because a lot of content there is sexual in nature.
However, Platforms like VRChat contain just as much sexual content, usually done in private and away from prying eyes, much like Second Life.
If VRChat is allowed, Second Life should be allowed too.
Twitch team, please reevaluate your Prohibited/Banned games list to remove Second Life.
Context: i'm a content creator on the platform, and I want to stream my development process. The content I create…

Improve Editors for 2024. Hey!
Editors should have some more functionality I think in line with some of the ideas that Twitch added over the years to make them further distinct from moderators and warrant actually placing someone as an editor only or moderator + editor.
Some examples:
Removing VIP badges/moderators from channels or adding VIPs/moderators to channels.
Maybe a "role hierarchy" of Broadcaster -> Editor -> Moderator to make editor more distinct.
So for example, if a moderator pins a message, an editor can remove the pinned message, but can't remove it if the broadcaster pins a message in chat. Likewise, if a…

Don't require global phone number verification or any at all (At the very least leave it up to the streamer) It seemed like one day I found out that I wasn't able to participate in chat without verifying with my phone number. I didn't want to give my personal number, so I used a Google Voice number that belongs to me. But by using that number, I get an error "please provide a valid phone number." There should've been a clear message indicating that Twitch doesn't allow VOIP numbers, so I wouldn't have to contact Twitch support or look through support articles.
I would hope that Twitch would allow any kind of numbers for what is suppose to be a…

Optional temp mod staff of incoming huge raid We've all seen it: a huge international tournament or event is ending, and the channel hosting that event with 30,000-200,000 concurrent viewers ends their stream by raiding a small content creator with 30 or so concurrent viewers. While this is an amazing act of community support, it often completely inundates and overwhelms the raided channel's ability to moderate the stream.
A nice feature would be to allow the streamer (or maybe their mods) the ability to temporarily allow the raiding channel.
Otherwise, as an extension of the current 'knock' collaboration feature, a large raiding channel like this could use a…

Twitch made a mistake, asmond does not believe people should be bombed. he is NOT a bigot from what limited information i have. i see
AsmonGold was banned for what he did not do.https://x.com/ChurchOfGame/status/1846490663220617688
i have evidence that he did not say what people reported him for. he does not say that the people should be bombed at all.
He even rightly calls out the homophobia/ transphobia of the Catholic Church!
but it's part of a long standing hate of the man by people that have nothing better to do or some ideological *****.
they say he hates women. he does not.
So can you undo it? there's a lot of horrible stslander and and misunderstandings…

Add an option to filter or sort user chat messages by date. Add an option to filter or sort user chat messages by date. Some chatters have 999+ messages and it's quite tedious to scroll through all the messages.

Option to quickly ban all raiders that came from the same raid In the Review recent raids menu a quick option to ban all raiders from the same raid.
It should not be an easy to missclick button, ask to user to write in "CONFIRM" or something to make sure it can't be used by accident.
This Feature would be a great help to counter hate and bot raids.
The channel owner should be able to decide if mods are able to use it or only the owner.

Ban the ableist slur ****** from the platform Twitch draws the line with slurs and terms that are deemed offensive and some are not allowed on the platform at all. However the ableist slur/ word "***" / "*****" are allowed on this platform. It's very disheartening to see that such awful terms are allowed, especially when they are rooted in ableism. I've reported other content creators for coming to my stream calling me this slur and nothing happened. I see some of the top creators on this platform say it repeatedly in a single stream. Why are certain slurs not allowed, but ableist ones are? I'd…

More thorough investigations on reported streamers/users. I am a Mod in a couple of channels and I do take moderation very seriously. I also try to keep Twitch a safe place, as much as possible.
What happened:
A streamer I mod for was the victim of insults and hateful speech yesterday (June the 11th 2024). The perpetrator was reported by myself and other Mods of the victim. The insults/speech were done during the perpetrators stream. They were live at the same time as the victim. (no VOD)In less than a minute after the report, I have already received an answer from Twitch, that no violation…

I suggest added a feature that allows banned or timeout based on a set 'string' of characters over a term or phrase I suggest added a feature that allows banned or timeout based on a set 'string' of characters over a term or phrase as simple add extra vowels an random characters to the start of end of word causes the banned terms to miss it. Exmaple: " Twitch = Scam" follow but something about a gambling site is something that get spammed in my Streamers chat often and simple ad and extra I and a like so " Twiitch = Scaaam " to get around the blockterms!
Also maybe the setting to auto-ban base on a string or term/phrase instead of…2 votes -
Quick ban option in all chats for moderators to use for the channels they mod for Whenever I see people acting in a way I want them banned in the spaces I mod for I find myself opening all those channels & individually banning them there. I'd love to be able to click on users in the chat I'm in & not moderating for & same as with blocking & reporting, select a "ban in channel/ban..." option. Ideally a list should pop up then so I can select where to ban the user as not all channels might apply the same ruleset. I guess being able to enter the reason in those fields then would be…

Stop the most recent Automod changes which prevents posting normal words and emotes It is becoming VERY annoying when 1 out of 8 of my messages doesn't get posted even though I'm using normal words and emotes I have always used (like the word "ah" or the LUL emote).
