Moderaters Twitch's moderators should be proactive. You should know your ToS better than anyone else and from what I can see you really don't seem to take the protection of minors seriously. There are regulations, standards and laws that should be adhered to but you blatantly ignore these issues. Predatory behavior and exposing minors to adult content by your users/streamers no matter how subtle or coercive just to undermine your weak ToS is still illegal and who can take action against them if not the relevant employees? Otherwise what the **** are they employed for, to put in the minimum effort…

Two-phase mechanism to confirm the result of a prediction Announce the result as "provisional" without immediate point assignment, and a review window of a few minutes (like 3-5) to correct a potential error in the result. After the review period, if no issues are raised, the result is confirmed and points are automatically assigned

Loudness limiter It is getting INCREDIBLY old for streamers to do this thing where their normal voice is very low so you have to crank up your volume and then they have sound alerts/etc. that are maxxed out on volume to the point of clipping and then heavily compressed to sound even louder. There either needs to be some kind of noise level gating or just an outright ban on blowing out peoples' ears. I shouldn't get hearing damage from watching a twitch stream.

Invisible Commands for Moderators Moderators need more dynamism. All chatbots use ! as a trigger for commands — nightbot doesn't require ! but does require the command to be expressed in chat — it would be nice if Twitch, in partnership with nightbot, streamelements or streamlabs, or itself... expanded the platform's native commands, such as those described in https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/chat-commands (example: /w /ban/ timeout and others), allowing chat commands to be invoked using / so that such commands don't appear in chat. Therefore, allowing a command to be developed using / instead of ! to improve live interactions regarding moderators' actions in relation to external…

Improve the "blocked terms and phrases" by including ways for automod to detect variations of terms using special characters With the current bot situation starting to add special characters to their message, adding the new phrase every time is a bit of an annoyance. It would be nice if there was a way for automod to look at a message like [b,b̲][e,ë,è][s][t] to block "best" "bëst" "bèst""b̲est" "b̲ëst" and "b̲èst" for example

Shared Ban Info incorrectly displaying in other streams This has been the third time now that other streamers I share banned info with has come to me as to a reason behind a flagged chatter as being banned in my channel. I go and check my banned list, and that username is not banned in my channel. There are no mod comments/reasons shown on their moderation flags either. If it's because of auto-mod ban evasion or another reason, this needs to be implemented into the mod comments somehow so other streamers know the reason.
As for right now I've told the other streamers I share banned info with,…

Linked Twitch and Steam Account Search Create an interface to allow mods to search for Twitch and Steam linked accounts. By agreeing to link them the users have already agreed to TOS. This would allow mods to better protect their channels by removing stream snipers easier, especially during events.

Accidently pressing Shield mode You could add an "Are you sure you'd like to use Shield Mode?", and or move it from the icons and make it a switch, or put it on the other side of the icons

Report system is a joke I reported a streamer for threatening physical violence against users in their chat. Seconds after confirming the report, I received an email stating that Twitch "has reviewed the report and found no violation." They supposedly reviewed a VOD several hours long in a single second and determined in that same second that it wasn’t grounds for a sanction... The reporting system is a bad joke.

banned people For whatever reason if streamer gets follow botted and you start banning them, they don't get banned. This has happened more than once, It isn't a case of not happening instantly but months no change. So this is something that needs fixing or improving. It would be great if was an option for block ban or suspend via shield mode if this happens. This could be used for raids or any circumstance where shield mode could be activated. Obviously for the bans suspensions, that would happen with activation but would be a confirm button to be safe. As shield mode can…

Create and Manage Custom Moderator Roles with Configurable Permissions Create and Manage Custom Moderator Roles with Configurable Permissions
Currently, the moderation system on Twitch is somewhat limited: you can only differentiate between regular moderators, editors, and VIPs, without much granularity. My idea is to allow content creators to create multiple roles in order to better organize their moderation team and assign each role specific permissions.
Example Roles
…Head Moderator: Has full access to all moderation features (ban, time-out, delete messages, edit stream title, etc.) Moderator+: Possesses most permissions but may not have access to critical options (e.g., managing roles or configuring alerts). Moderator: A standard role that can moderate3 votes -
A filter of somesort to see users who have typed filtered phrases A tool that allows moderators to see users who have tried to use banned words in the chat. As in many chats i have moderated for i have the term "viewers on" banned so scam bots can not post any more. But this means i also can't report them and notify Twitch of the rampant accounts.

Moderators/Editors should have the ability to manage Channel Points Unfortunately it is currently not possible for moderators or even just editors to modify the Channel Points of another channel.

Mod view for android It's weird that Mod View on the twitch mobile app isn't on android devices but is on IOS. Making it available on both mobile platforms would make twitch moderation more accessible for people who cannot access a desktop device (me).

Include the Delete Individual Message button in the menu that appears when you left-click a chatter's name on desktop When you're watching a stream that you moderate in normal viewer mode, if you click on the name of someone in chat, it shows 3 icons: Ban, Timeout, and Warn. Why is the Trash-Can button not on the list? It should be. It's just 1 button, and a very useful one. On mobile it shows up on the list. The only way to delete an individual message on desktop is to enable the "Show Mod-Buttons" option, which clutters up the chat and is easy to accidentally click. Please put the trashcan icon in the menu with the rest of the…
