Ghost Channels Channels that are live 24 hours a day. While sitting on a menu screen, or character select screen.
These same channels maintaining hundreds of viewers staying in chat. Mostly for a reward from the game that is being broadcasted.

Can someone logically explain why we don’t celebrate white indigenous peoples day? How do we bring people together if there’s discrimination I and many others would like to know when you plan to celebrate indigenous white peoples day?
I’m also making you aware there’s Twitch streamer’s/partners out there with millions of views and subscribers that laugh and ridicule anyone who dares to ask a simple question yet gloat about the fact Twitch have acknowledged and celebrate Indigenous Latinos and every other community apart from the white community.
The racist Latino was so proud to let me know they worked in Silicon Valley and was able to influence this even more.

false report Can't recover a streamer's banned account due to multiple malicious reports?

why are these emotes being removed? I subscribe to a few people and i am wondering why their emotes keep getting removed. the emotes i am talking about are "dumper" emotes they are usually cartoon characters dancing/twerking. that may seem like its a given why they are removed but a funny dancing emote of a stuffed animal character shouldn't be removed while you can see more graphic things of humans on the front page of the pools and hot tub category. is there any specific reason why they are removed but the other stuff is allowed?

Reacting To Content From Banned Streamers Would like clarification regarding suspension evasion policy specifically: "In addition, it is prohibited to use your channel to knowingly feature or advertise a suspended user."
IRT Political Twitch content there are accounts showcasing the YouTube content of banned streamers but are saying they're making "transformative content" out of it so it's essentially not violating that rule. That'd be fine but I can't find that loop hole in the policy anywhere, and I'd like to do this myself for "push back/debunk" segments on my own streams. Clarification would be helpful.

So last night I was streaming with some friends and experienced my first episode of harassment while streaming the game Dead by Daylight. Someone who claimed to have played a game with me earlier that night created an account with vulgar words in it while using my name in the username. They then began saying some pretty obscene things and it made me very uncomfortable. After reporting and blocking that person, they created a second account which was also blocked and then created a third account which was blocked as well. Ilness unfair uses Some Streamer are using ilnessess to get money from viewers and most of them doesn't prove if they have the ilness or not and they are burning the people that has the ilness not only in Twitch but IRL too. time zones Being old enough to remember when people tuned into live tv there was always a key tag line the time. The time would be said in at least 2 different high population time zones of the US.

Twitch cross posting on major media platforms As a casual observer but regular viewer on Twitch, I'm surprised I do not see Twitch active on other social media outside mostly say X or Discord. This seems like an odd example when you are encouraging your creators to share outside those pre-sifted user bases
Creators promoting their work are of course promoting Twitch on the other platforms. My take is just that they are promoting it to their existing algorithm.
I'm sure there are more complex reasons than I'm aware of. This probably has been an issue debated many times and I just couldn't find folks talking about…

Sleep Mode There should be a sleep timer mode for people who watch their favorite streamer during bedtime; Normally, the live stream keeps playing and then another one starts playing completely. On the other hand, when I wake up, my phone is either dead or has very little battery, and I might miss a lot of content because I don't know where I am in the stream.

IRL with Bodyguards and Counseling Support. Given the recent rise in stalking, threats, and attacks on IRL streamers, I believe it’s long overdue for Twitch to implement a third-party security system to provide bodyguards for high-profile, at-risk streamers. Time and time again, we hear about streamers facing dangerous situations while broadcasting IRL content, yet little has been done to address these threats. It’s clear that a change is needed—Twitch must take action now.
Additionally, I strongly believe that 24/7 counseling support should be available for any streamer who experiences distress or discomfort if such a system is not already in place.

Require all Partners and Affiliates to disclose their Subscription & Bit Count There are some channels claiming to not be doing well financially on Twitch, when it's very obvious they have a lot of subscriptions and are getting bit donations. Therefore, I think all monetized channels should be required to disclose their subscription and bit donation numbers to ensure as much transparency as possible.
