1. More clarification on guidelines in regards to Hot Tub category

Below is what I have written to Twitch customer service but I've decided to post it here as well:

Two days ago I was hit with a 24 hour ban from a stream where I was carving a pumpkin in bikinis (full coverage of my genitals, nipples, and buttocks), and I was streaming in the hot tubs category. While I noticed that other female streamers were able to wear even less and more revealing (micro bikinis and thongs) than I am, even doing "sexually suggestive" behaviors such as grinding on a banana floaty and sucking on popsicles, I noticed that they have an inflatable pool in the background and I don't.

Another thing I want clarified is pole dancing on your platform. I'm a pole dancer, as in I practice pole dancing as a form of fitness and workout, as well as for me to get in touch with my femininity and spirits as a woman. In my streams for the past 7 weeks, I've been doing acrobatic pole tricks and a few choreography as a cool down to my workout. For pole fitness, I need to wear less clothing such as a bikini, sports bra/shorts, etc., to have a safer and better grip on the pole to prevent myself from being injured. For pole choreography, I wear pole heels (some may informally refer to them as stripper heels) so I can better navigate spins, drops, and extend my dancers' lines. To add on to that, I've never streamed my pole dance streams with the intention to suggest something sexually or not safe for work, and I try to emphasize that in ways I talk and behave in my pole streams, but I'm aware that some viewers do, considering I've gotten vulgar and degrading comments.

For that, I want to ask a few questions so I can follow your community guidelines better and not get suspended or banned again:

   1. Am I only allowed to wear bikinis when there's a hot tub, pool, and beach in the background or on the screen of my stream? This question is regarded towards your "context exception" category of the community guidelines.
   2. Your guidelines have mentioned that streamers are not allowed to stream "pole dance or acrobatics with sexually suggestive framing". I want to ask what does "sexually suggestive framing: mean? Is it camera angle? Setup of the environment? The style of choreography? Can you please give me some examples or details so I can keep them in mind?
   3. I've done some research and have seen a few female streamers suspended or banned for "inappropriate attire" from wearing costumes, casual outfits, etc (not bikinis). Such as SupCaitlyn, LivStixs, and NicolePeachy to name a few. Can you provide some details as to why they were banned so I can adjust my wardrobe accordingly?
   4. I've mentioned that I've received vulgar and degrading comments, and so I want to ask what is the penalty for this behavior on Twitch, and what is the priority of safety on this platform? Since I feel like nothing was done to stop hate speech, and the only enforcement that was done were mainly targeted towards female streamers' dress code instead... To be more specific, I've witnessed ToadPHD making racist comments towards Asian people on Kyootbot's stream, as well as myself receiving sexist and racist whispers and chats from viewers and their new accounts, some repeatedly demanded me to flash nudity and to sell sex services.
   5. Last but not least, I've found this blog article written by Twitch: https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2021/05/21/lets-talk-about-hot-tub-streams/?utm_referrer=https://www.google.com/ I want to ask if I should take this article into consideration when I stream? Since I've only found out about this article during my suspension when I was doing my research on your policies and rules, and I've never agreed to acknowledge the blog posts when I created my Twitch account and started streaming. In which another question I have, ties back to my fourth question above in regards to attire where I saw that numerous female streamers were banned for wearing costumes or casual outfits: how would this: "being found to be **** by others is not against our rules, and Twitch will not take enforcement action against women, or anyone on our service, for their perceived attractiveness." (Source: blog.twitch.tv) apply to these kinds of enforcements?

   ---

I saw an idea here where someone suggested that Twitch create another domain for adult audiences, or even just create another domain only for kids since most of the users on Twitch are young adults, similar to what Youtube have done. Other than nudity and sexual suggestive contents here, there's just too much cursing, references to weed, alcohol, gun violence, etc by that logic. I second the idea to create a sub-domain for adult or kids only content.

2. Gambling rules & "Group" sessions

   Hello community & staff.

I come with suggestion on updating the gambling rules on Twitch.

Currently (I speak from Finnish community), there are online casino streamers who use sites that support "group sessions". Meaning that viewers can join that session with real money, to play together with the streamer. This mechanic has been deployed fully by some finnish casino streamers as their main content and IMO it's extremely predatory.

This is how one of the products, called WeSpin.

   ---

   "WHAT IS WESPIN?
Both playing & streaming your favourite online casino games just became more sociable and potentially a more rewarding experience.

That’s right! With Wespin the stakes are bigger, excitement is greater and the wins can be massive!

Simply explained: Your audience can now make a buy-in to your pot for them to be a part of your streaming experience."

   Second one called Casinobud:

"The first online casino where you can play together! Join now. It takes less than a minute! Available sessions you can join right now!"

The streaming part is done via Twitch, not their own platform, as that does not gather the audience.

I suggest that these types of online casinos should be banned aswell. As this mechanic exploits possibly gambling addicted viewer & most likely creates new ones.

Add a new horror game called Immortality to banned games list. This game was just released today and it contains a lot of nudity, sex among other sex related content. The warnings for the game does not give a hint as to how much nudity and sex it contains.

6. Start to punish streamers who use very loud sounds (aka RIP Headphone Users).

Start punishing streamers who use very loud sounds (aka rip headphone users) on purpose.

Some streamers have loud sounds in the command list, either through bots like Streamelements, Nightbot and the like or through channel points.
This directly hurts those who have hypersensitive hearing problems or people with autism, who have a different interaction with sounds.

There is no reason, cause or circumstance in which these sounds are used for anything positive, they are simply and purposely loud to hurt the ears of the listener.
In addition to being a tremendous lack of respect, it is still something that directly hurts the PHYSICAL HEALTH of those who access the platform.

7. Control at partners in live chat

I've found that affiliates can get donations from you if they do enough. Yesterday I discovered a streamer who during a Minecraft game told in detail pornographic noises and sexual preferences in the live chat, if people in the chat obscenely teased them or you were against it, the sentences in the chat were deleted directly by a moderator.. ...Since it's against the rules for a partnership on Twitch, and the streamer becomes money for dirty content, my idea is that words spoken live such as sex, private parts etc should be heard and muted the same way as when a piece of music is recognized and also a warning should follow. As well as then playing a counselor, where she said that she regularly hurts herself and was in psychiatric care, is not exactly a role model for children and every child can see that without registering!

I reported it immediately and the "Just Chatting" section contained almost only live pornographic posts, you don't have to look for them, they are there immediately, what can you do about it to protect the children and the Twitch brand ?

8. Neue Bekleidungs Richtlinien

9. Representatives and Advocates of protected groups

   Hello Twitch,

Over the past year I have seen a number of people popping up who making claims of been representatives and/or advocates of protected groups (to be more precise people with disabilities), on major platforms such as Youtube, Twitter and Twitch. What disturbs me about this is lack of professionalism some of these people exhibit, I hope you do understand that a lot of people do want to private, discrete and above all be treated with respect when it comes to their disability. It does disturb me when I see certain partnered Twitch streamers use other disabled people's conditions and in a few cases their deaths to bully and harass other disabled people.

I would like ask Twitch to add to it's community guidelines that users are not allowed to make public claims of been representatives or advocates of this protected group. I am not saying people cannot claim to be a supporter or activist for disabled people or that a disabled person is an example of what other disabled people may be like. What I am saying is unless you have a legal paper to say you represent another person and/or group and are authorized by that party to speak on their behalf, you should not be making the claim to be a representative or advocate.

   Thank you for your time.

10. Foreign nationals

Under the new harassment policies being implemented in January, Twitch has effectively identified foreign nationals who have migrated to another country (e.g., to the United States) as a protected group (the term "immigration status" is invoked as an example of what constitutes a protected class). The policy later states that saying "[protected group] should not be allowed to vote" constitutes "[a call] for subjugation, segregation or exclusion." It seems to me that this policy entails that anyone who advocates enforcing the voting requirements of probably every single nation on earth (i.e., every nation prohibits non-citizens from voting) is guilty of hateful conduct.

More concretely, supposing I were to say, "Non-U.S. citizens should not be allowed to vote in U.S. elections," it seems to me that this would make me guilty of hateful conduct under the terms of the policy. By extension, anyone in favor of upholding the U.S. Constitution as it stands would be guilty of hateful conduct. I'm sure this is not the intent of the policy, and I doubt that it would be enforced in this way. Still, this does seem to be a section of the policy that might need some more work.

12. and toxic streamers that move their community to attack another streamer

user / bot attack that other streamers do that they don't like better look for more staff in the streamer's surveillance area ...
Hi, I'm a small streamer who received a 7-day twitch penalty and now I can't upload emotes without the staff seeing it and it turns out that they tell me it was for making a black joke or being homophobic or something if I'm gay and never I would laugh at another person with my same sexuality or at straight people but it turns out that they couldn't send me any clip of what was the thing I said and I think I have proof that it was another streamer who sent 40 viewers to send me a minimum report and I have done it more than 3 times, this guy has a large discord group where he has an area to speak lies and damage the image of other streamers and ordinary people
And the worst thing is that the teepee is still free without anything happening to it and what annoys me the most is that in my country it is illegal to do that. I don't know in the USA the guy erased a large part of his live shows to "cover his back" of leaving this platform I am already bored of the damage they have done to me

15. In regard to appeals which are submitted to the site, are twitch overly concerned of the mental health aspect of users who operate accounts?

Going point for point from your metal health guide, I know of instances where some streamers have been completely disconnected of any communication. Considering your own words here, can twitch do more when it comes to appeals? (https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/twitch-cares-mental-health-support-information?language=en_US)

17. Will streamers be penalized for games that require swearing and insults as part of their mechanics?

Some games like Phasmophobia require gamers to swear and call the ghost names in order to cause it to appear. Would this affect the streamer in a negative aspect? Especially if the stream is Mature 18+ only.

18. Will symbols listed as offensive be allowed when present in video games or placed into proper historical context in stream content?

The new policy seems very unclear as to if certain symbols will be allowed on stream when present in video games or represented in the proper historical context in lectures, presentations, and display. As a student of history, I quite enjoy games that are set in historical time periods and go to great lengths to keep the setting accurate. However, games about the American Civil War, WWII, etc. will contain symbols such as the Confederate Battle Flag and the Nazi swastika. I also enjoy being able to use props when I deliver a monthly historical lecture/presentation about various topics, including the American Civil War.

19. Why do your bots or mods not know dictionary slang vs actual words that are used?

Caught a multiple day ban from one of your bots or mods that hasn't read a dictionary. Niggardly is not offensive, Niggle is not offensive. The list is not very long because you can carry small dictionaries on your phone, with a thesaurus and MULTIPLE dictionary and thesaurus apps. Go poach the DND and Warhammer streams and ban every single streamer and any people using dialogue containing "niggle". But you won't, because the community will be more than one person you decided to squelch. I have zero intent to purchase bulk subs for fans for however long this ban goes on for. I'm just going to purchase tips at the very least or just straight up PayPal my favorite streamers so you guys don't get a single penny.

20. Team Membership Guideline

Why are people allowed to join multiple Teams? What does one Team have to do with another Team and streamers on disconnected Teams with higher viewers push Team-Related viewers to the bottom.

At least restrict members to 3 Teams at most and they must be related in some way.

I saw a streamer streaming a Fall Guys contest and it was a top streamer on Hear Support Network; totally not related but if the contest is doing a stream to support heart health its okay and how is Twitch going to manage these relationships to insure continuity. Playing Fall Guys in and of itself is probly not very heart supportive !

Team members also need to be involved in their Team not just be there to advertize their presence and gain viewership.

    My 2 cents ...
