Import Previously Entered Data from Full Title entries into DLC/Addons, Bundles, Expansions, Versions etc.
Something that can become rather repetitive and even prevent users from adding all the Add-ons for a given title is repetitively entering the same data points over and over.
It would be extremely helpful if you set an entry to be an Addon, Expansion, Version or other relevant entry to copy all data relevant data from the original title.
- Categorization fields
- Company fields
- Age Ratings

Hey! Excellent suggestion, in fact we have something very similar in our Backlog already, with a ‘inherit data from parent’ feature.
It’s just at an idea stage for now, but we’ll look into planning in in accordance with our roadmap as soon as possible.
These types of trailers are common for fighting games and even games like Overwatch had them back in the day.13 votes
Hi! We think this is a great idea, and wouldn't be hard to do. It's indeed a good way to mark all those character trailers (there are a lot of them). We have put this in our backlog and will try to get to it as soon as possible. Thanks!

Yes absolutely this is planned. While External Games and External Websites are separate they are closely related and may tackle them together.
For External Games this will be a big focus for us going forward.
Add information about if a game is on/included in a subscription service.
Such as gamepass or stadia (included with the stadia sub)
And if a removal date exists (as games will leave gamepass)11 votes

Many companies exist on the site under two or more names, with a number of games attributed to each of the various forms of their name. A procedure to flag and combine these disparate developer and publisher listings under a single company name would allow this data to be cleaned up and made more useful.11 votes
Add language options as games data, according to the release (each platform and region may have different language options).11 votes
Allow a link to a theme song (or theme songs) for a game. For example a direct link to a song.

Heya! This could indeed be interesting, however there’s a lot of possible legal investigation to look into when it comes to music copyrights.
In the short term it’s hard to say how we could approach this. Long term we of course would love to expand our data and game info with music, sounds like an obvious fit!
Instead of using random algorithm for similar games on IGDB pages. Make users enable recommend games based on their review. See MyAnimeList for the implementation. Its something like this :
If you like [Insert game title], then you can try this based on users recommendation and similar theme.10 votes
We are trying to Add VoxPop Storefront links, What is the submission process for the VP icono to be added to Storefronts?
This is the VoxPop Games storefront - https://www.voxpopgames.site/store/featured
The Storefront is legit and has been featured via Game Informer: https://www.gameinformer.com/2022/02/14/weaponeer-a-game-developed-by-a-17-year-old-that-you-can-play-with-one-hand-is-out-today9 votes
Specifically for PC games, this website gives info on how to get games running correctly and well, with patches such as widescreen support and workarounds to DRMs. For many older games, the information on this website is essential to get the game running correctly. Thanks!9 votes
When Bundles include titles of a long running series, it is possible to encounter times that have too many titles to display with the basic name.

Hey! bundle dropdown has been fixed.
Versions will follow up next :)
I noticed that there are so many Minecraft categories but none from the Minecraft Bedrock edition.
In general, this is my suggestion. An extra category for the Minecraft Bedrock edition. I'm from the Minecraft Bedfrock edition scene and because there is no category for which many of my colleagues stream Minecraft Bedrock edition only on YouTube and not on Twitch. It is even often said that the Minecraft Bedrock edition would not be wanted on Twitch and something like that. And I think something should change so that another community can find its place on Twitch.8 votes
Several games have interesting or obscure caveats in terms of their release or their playability, and it's worth mentioning them for the sake of completeness. For example, Donkey Kong Junior is listed as a Gameboy Advance release, which is technically correct, but it was only playable via the e-Reader, which is not obvious. Additionally, Donkey Kong Junior also exists as a playable game within Game and Watch Gallery 3 and 4, which may technically not count as a release but deserves mentioning somewhere. There are several examples of games with unique scenarios like this, and this data doesn't really have a section where it could easily be integrated. Furthermore, some games have memes or cultural phenomena around them which also lacks a section. A trivia section to serve as a catch-all for data like this would be great, so long as said trivia can be cited and verified.

Hey! This is excellent, we ourselves have been wanting Triva data for a long time. Although this isn’t a high priority data it would offer a lot in terms of general knowledge.
However this is a difficult data to handle, as verifying it can be quite difficult and time consuming. Eventually we will revisit the concept and see what options we can come up with to faciliate this.
Leaving this ticket open if other users have suggestions, such as sources of gaming trivia that could be researched.
Ability to add game-specific controllers/accessories to their page. For example the guitar in guitar hero games, the camera with Eyetoy games, the dance mat for DDR games and so on. Along with the option to set whether the item is mandatory or not.8 votes
The EAN on the back of packages are a unique way to identify different versions of games. This could help to find details about a game and revision.8 votes
Just a button on IGDB to go to a random game in the database. Maybe you can set a date frame or different filters to it but in general a button to show a random game would be awesome.7 votes
This is a good suggestion thank you! This has been discussed a couple of times in the past. We can’t promise any ETA on such a feature but it would be interesting to investigate.
Our main concerns so far would be what can be included is random: should it have filters, should it be games on all platforms or only selected ones, all age ratings etc..
If you have more ideas or specifics that always helps, we’ll leave this ticket open meanwhile!
Sometimes users may not log onto the site for a time, while there may be pending questions from Admins that may require feedback or clarification to get approved.
Having the ability to enable Email Notifications for new comments on pending entries could help notify users in a more convenient way.7 votes
Hey! There is very much a need for this absolutely. However it wouldn’t be a simple implementation at this point of time.
We’ll definitely stay in touch when we proceed forward!
Would allow users to import/export their lists from/to other services like Playnite and RAWG.7 votes
My idea is simple; adding GameFAQ pages to the possible website additions on the website. This will allow people easy access to both answers to questions they might have regarding the game as well as a walkthrough if needed.7 votes
