Previously, I had been able to submit coverart for games on Twitch via a form located on the Twitch support website. This was a critical feature of Twitch to ensure that smaller and/or older games on the Twitch platform wouldn't be left with incorrect or generic artwork. However, as of late, my submissions of coverart via the form have gone unanswered, and the link to the form has been removed from Twitch's support site as well.

In the past, similar issues have occurred regarding Twitch accidentally removing access to the form, such as back in February 2020. At that time, I had submitted a request for this to be fixed in support case, and it was resolved fairly quickly. I have also contacted support twice regarding the current changes to Twitch's coverart submissions. I had gotten no response regarding these changes, instead only being directed back to the support page. I had also received no further communication after attempting to reply, and both cases have been marked as "resolved".

Regarding this issue, I have also posted a Tweet (https://twitter.com/SWIMMlN/status/1352335447184330754) regarding it on January 21st, tagging the @TwitchSupport account for comment. As of now, I have received no response from Twitch on that Tweet.

Addressing the inability for coverart changes is critical for the Twitch platform. Many games are falsely represented with incorrect coverart, coverart that violates twitch's coverart guidelines, or no cover art at all.

For example, the Pokémon Gold category on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Pok%C3%A9mon%20Gold) currently has coverart for Pokémon Silver, while the Pokémon Silver category (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Pok%C3%A9mon%20Silver) has no cover art at all.

Another example of a major cover art violation would be the Pokémon Trading Card Game category on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Pok%C3%A9mon%20Trading%20Card%20Game) , which has the coverart of just the logo of the game on a white background, a clear violation of the coverart guidelines.

This one might be my favorite example. The NHL '94 category on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/NHL%20'94) currently has coverart for the NHL '94 Rewind, a different game that came out in 2020. This wouldn't be nearly as bad, if NHL '94 didn't already have the correct coverart that I had added myself a few months prior. I would love to know why exactly this change was made.

Finally, for dozens of other games on the directory, there are games with no coverart, that simply will never get coverart without the community's support.

I would love to speak further regarding this issue, because I love Twitch as a platform, but recent actions like this need to be taken more seriously.
