PICO-8 PICO-8 is a Fantasy Console used to play and create games. I feel like this should be added to the categories as this will be my main source when streaming. I think it would be awesome if you guys could add this so I can select this as my category for streaming.

Add language information Hi,
We should be able to indicate the language of the review, when we write a new one.
And the page of the game (https://www.igdb.com/games/***/reviews), we should be able to filter reviews throught a language list.
Default value should be define on the profile, wich could be reuse on both situations (writing, filtering)

Add role to characters info It would be nice to have the option to add a character's role into the database, like:
- Main Character
- Side Character
- Villain/Enemy
- Random NPC

Add Reboot of for series It would be nice to distinguish between spin-offs and reboot.
Just saw the "new" Tomb Raiders are under the series "Tomb Raider: Survivor" instead of the original Tomb Raider, which make sense; what doesn't make sense is that this series is tagged as a spin-off of the original, while it is actually a reboot of the Tomb Raider series.Imho, spin-offs is are series like Mana or Kingdom Hearts for Final Fantasy series, or standalone titles like Dirge of Cerberus for Final Fantasy VII.
Which leads to the need of distinguish between series spin-off/reboot and standalone spin-offs.4 votes -
Allow all NFSW / Adult games as long as nothing too suggestive is shown Some types of adult games are restricted as per the contribution guidelines. As a video game database I think all games should be allowed. Even if it's only allowed in title and description without any picture or links to the game itself.

Please Change The Base Platform Logo Image for the "Nintendo 64 (Platform)" to match it's own base platfrom logo image Hi,
On the platforms page "https://www.igdb.com/platforms" and when querying the API for the base platform, the platform logo for the base "Nintendo 64 (Platform)" is currently by default the iQue image "https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_cover_small/pl78.png" Shouldn't this image actually be the base platform image i.e. the N64 image "https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_logo_med/pl77.png" the same image that is displayed when visiting that platforms main platform web page "https://www.igdb.com/platforms/n64"?In summary please can we change the base N64 platform image in the following areas:

Gyro aiming Hi! It would be really great to include something like an 'input' option so you can find games with native gyro aiming.
I'm always trying to find good gyro coop fps games to play with my girlfriend (I can only really do it with gyro) and it takes a LOT of google searching, it's a massive pain..
I don't think it's necessary to include Steam gyro, just eg PS4 / PS5 and Switch games that have it built in.
There's hardly any games so it wouldn't take long to have it all complete, but the list is hopefully growing, especially…

On the profile, make the order of IGDB lists the same than everywhere else Hi,
On the profile (https://www.igdb.com/users/***) the lists order should be : Want > Playing > Played, like everywhere in the site, instead of the present order : Played > Playing > Want
Reviewed and rated lists should be on the second line than on the first one too, for a better user interface experience.

On IGDB list (ie : "Played"), if the game is in a personal list too, sub status is not uptable On IGDB lists, sub status should remain updatable from the list view, even if the game is on a personal list.
I don't know if it's a bug or a feature (if so, should be explain somewhere).

Allow users to change their username, display name, and profile picture I find it a bit disappointing that IGDB does not allow users to change their username, display name, and profile picture unlike over on Twitch. While such features might not seem important for a database site, adding such would benefit users who may not be comfortable continuing to use an identity they no longer go by. Providing such features, even in the form of just resyncing a user's Twitch account with their updated information, would also allow users to keep their karma score instead of having to start from scratch by making a whole separate account just to use a…

Does not appear as a selection option for streamers The game is already duly registered with the IGDB, but when I contacted them via email, I was informed that this problem would be resolved here and that the game would be able to be an option, a category of choice for streamers.

A way to quickly view games you have played and not rated and vice versa It would be great to have a quick way to view the games you have played and not yet rated. Sometimes I might forget to rate the game and I do not want to spend a long time comparing the list of played games to rated games to see which ones got missed and the same is true the other way around. Stop treating volunteers as though they're an annoyance when they submit content One of the things that really confuses me about IGDB is that I often have interactions with IGDB admins that make me wonder if they know Twitch isn't paying me to work for IGDB.

Incorrect Game Cover Aspect Ratio listing in Karma Hunters As I make changes to entries on existing titles in the database, the Karma Hunters Contributions listing focuses on entries that are Missing Covers or box art entirely. This omits entries that have been uploaded from Steam that display in 600x900 and do not adhere to the 3:4 ratio that would display in the Twitch category. It would be great to see a global breakdown of those that are in error so they can be addressed by the community.

Add more fields for owned games It would be nice to have the possibility to add additional information when adding a game to own lists such as:
format (physical or digital);
purchase date and price;
started and finished date (multiple times for multiple playtroughs).
But, more importantly, the possibility to track individually different versions of the game; I might have completed a game on a platform, finished on another and playing on another one.3 votes -
Achievement/Trophy data Add the information about the game achievements/trophies.
I know there are dozen of websites doing it, but today it is to be considered a fundamental information of a game release.
