Allow users to change their username, display name, and profile picture
I find it a bit disappointing that IGDB does not allow users to change their username, display name, and profile picture unlike over on Twitch. While such features might not seem important for a database site, adding such would benefit users who may not be comfortable continuing to use an identity they no longer go by. Providing such features, even in the form of just resyncing a user's Twitch account with their updated information, would also allow users to keep their karma score instead of having to start from scratch by making a whole separate account just to use a new name.

We need a re-sync feature. Since IGDB is based on Twitch profiles, there is a very minimal chance of name collisions. The only possible way for a collision to happen is if a Twitch user changed their name, then someone took it later, they both created IGDB accounts. After that, the one who took someone's username changed name; and the original user changed back to that name. The original owner of the name resync to IGDB, but the other user did not.
That process is an edge case, it is more likely that the user who reused someone's old username will not change it anytime soon.
This is of course, assuming, we can actually reuse an old username, which I haven't tested.
So, if there is any possibility of collisions, it is very minimal. It is “99%” safe to add a username re-sync feature.
