  1. Feature Request: Twitch Stream Boost for Small Creators

I would like to suggest a new feature called “Stream Boost” designed to help small and growing creators gain visibility on Twitch.

One of the biggest challenges for new streamers and streamers that have been on the app for years is discoverability. Many talented creators struggle to be seen because they are competing against established streamers who already have large communities, audiences from other platforms, or celebrity status. As a result, many small creators can spend months or even years streaming consistently without reaching new

Stream Boost feature that allows creators to…

  2. Many creators and brands are looking for ways to host special moments on Twitch that go beyond a standard stream layout.

It would be interesting if Twitch allowed creators to trigger or host custom “event environments” during a stream — temporary visual or interactive spaces designed for launches, presentations, or community moments.

    For example:

branded visual environments for special streams

creator-triggered event scenes viewers can enter together

interactive spaces designed for storytelling, reveals, or live presentations

This could open the door for brand collaborations, product reveals, community celebrations, and immersive events, while keeping everything native to Twitch.

    Creators are constantly…

  3. I would love to be able to schedule my discount campaigns instead of having to start them manually. This feature could be placed either in the discounts menu and/or within the stream scheduler. It would allow for better planning and make activation much easier.

  4. I apologize in advance if my idea is not categorized perfectly, but I hope it sparks interest

This proposal focuses on enhancing the Twitch experience by implementing a scaling reward system unique to each channel, designed to engage viewers through contributions that already exist on the platform, such as subscribing, gifting subs, using bits, and engaging actively in chat. Viewers can unlock channel specific rewards while supporting the streamer, creating a cycle of investment and recognition that strengthens community ties

Each channel could have its own scaling reward system, giving the streamer the ability to shape unique rewards based on…

  6. Allow streamer to track and see viewer watch streaks, so we can create rewards for long streaks etc. Maybe allow for channel point distribution to them or sub/bit discounts we can setup or maybe create special emote we can award to those with long streaks. We need to be able to see how many each user has(if they opt in to share them). Otherwise the share in chat doesn't provide anything to the viewer.
Another idea is have preset auto rewards, something else but extra channel points, maybe as mentioned above, special emote.

  7. Social media badges given for sharing streamer content on other platforms. Users end up just using your content to get views on youtube etc and the "#" that shows its your content and not theirs doesn't bring new followers or fans. Yes, you can disable the feature altogether, but that disallows any share! Can twitch require a direct link to twitch channel when streamer's content is used to get the person sharing (not content creator) views on other platforms?

  8. Hello dear Twitch team,

I have an idea that could help larger streamers in particular to better bridge downtime and keep viewer numbers stable: How about a kind of integrated “buffer” function for short connection interruptions or PC crashes?

Problem: When a stream suddenly drops for a major streamer, viewer numbers drop dramatically because many viewers leave. This is not only bad for the streamer, but also for Twitch, because viewers may migrate to competitors or leave altogether.

Solution: An optional feature that automatically plays a predefined video or short loop (e.g., “Be right back”) when the stream is interrupted,…

  9. Add a setting that allows streamers and moderators to shadow-ban users. This would silently mute a viewer without notifying them. The shadow-banned user could still type in chat, but their messages would be invisible to everyone — including the streamer and mods.

Since trolls thrive on attention and reactions (even from being banned), removing their visibility without alerting them would act as a strong deterrent and help maintain a positive chat environment.

  10. I mean I came up with this while watching an old ishowspeed stream on YouTube and then I said: I want to watch an old yourragegaming stream on twitch but guess what? I can't I mean I don't know much about website or app design but YouTube clearly has it so how hard can it be and if it is hard are y'all saying YouTube want it more than you? respectfully I'm saying this, I want twitch to succeed, and I think this would be an awesome addition, and would add more to the website, because as of now when…

  11. I’d love to suggest a new feature that could help increase engagement across Twitch, especially on mobile: a “Tap to Like” or “Heart” reaction option for live streams and clips.

This would work similarly to how other platforms (like TikTok or Instagram) allow viewers to tap the screen to show appreciation or boost visibility—particularly helpful for short-form content like clips. It would give viewers a lightweight, fun way to interact even if they aren’t chatting or subscribing.

Some benefits I think this could bring:
    • Increased viewer interaction, especially from mobile users who might not use chat.
    • A quick…

  12. I’d love to see Twitch implement Channel Point Profiles, similar to how SoundAlerts allows multiple sound profiles with different sets of alerts.

This would be a game-changer, especially for VTubers and variety streamers. Many of us have a wide range of redeems — from model toggles and special effects to game-specific interactions. But with the current system, we hit the redeem limit fast.

By introducing profiles (e.g., “Model Redeems,” “Horror Game Redeems,” “Just Chatting Redeems”), streamers could swap between tailored sets depending on the content — without cluttering or hitting the cap.

It would allow for more creativity, better organization,…

  13. Currently there is no option to add and/or switch between accounts.

In some cases the streamer has a bot account and to access such account, the streamer has to logout of the streamer account to login with the bot account.

This is rather annoying when making updates/changes on the bot account.

Do other streamers share the same idea?

  14. Dont know where to post this correctly, if wrong please move to the right place.

Please add a Cut Tool or a Crop tool to the Video Producer so we can make clips of it directly from our side without having to export 1h of stream to another place to crop

  16. with a name like twitch TV you would think this was a layup, but network channels, like cartoon network, ABC, etc. would be nice to have if this ever comes up. its not that we don't or never would watch TV it's just a convenience thing. and the chat features would enhance the experience something we haven't seen. this is a chance for expansion and to bring value to them. now you can do sub to a channel or maybe you have to do a sub package.. they provide better content than most twitch streamers can muster.. this would also…

  18. It would be really cool if we could save the stream info panel for each type of stream we plan on doing. Like for myself, I would like to have a stream info panel for my knitting project and one for each game I want to play on stream. Then, when I go to start a stream, I can just select the correct Stream Info panel for the topic of the stream.

I think it would be neat to have such a feature as I see many streamers often have different topics on their streams. Thanks.

  19. With first playthroughs of games, right now there is a constant conflict between people in chat "backseating," and people--whether they are the streamer or another person in chat--who don't want backseating or spoilers.

I have an idea that I think could greatly reduce the severity of this conflict.

If Twitch were to allow a user in chat to be flagged as "backseater," and if streamers could only allow users into chat if they are below a certain "backseater count" (flagged as a "backseater" by ten users or less, for example--ideally a threshold the streamer could fine-tune for each stream), streamers…

  20. A Roleplay mode option that allows streamers to switch on and off. Big streamers with decent viewers struggle to play out scenes within roleplay due to chat hoppers spreading "in character" information "out of character". This ruins a lot of content for the streamer, causes toxicity in their chats and just isn't fun for the overall viewers.

Roleplay Mode would basically prevent this. By me watching one streamer who's roleplaying, and going to another streamer who's roleplaying, I would have a 10 minute chat timer to wait out before I can talk. I feel like 10 minutes would allow enough…
