Like goals
I’d love to suggest a new feature that could help increase engagement across Twitch, especially on mobile: a “Tap to Like” or “Heart” reaction option for live streams and clips.
This would work similarly to how other platforms (like TikTok or Instagram) allow viewers to tap the screen to show appreciation or boost visibility—particularly helpful for short-form content like clips. It would give viewers a lightweight, fun way to interact even if they aren’t chatting or subscribing.
Some benefits I think this could bring:
• Increased viewer interaction, especially from mobile users who might not use chat.
• A quick way for creators to see what content resonates most.
• An algorithmic signal that could be used to surface more engaging clips or highlight standout live moments.
This feature wouldn’t replace existing engagement tools like Bits, chat, or subs—but rather complement them and make Twitch feel more interactive and modern for all viewers, especially casual ones.
