Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.

For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

    Making AI Opt in by default removes the consent between streamer and platform. As you've stated yourselves, Twitch, no one would opt in because no one wants it. No one asked, no one ever thought about it.

    This feature is legitimately making me considering going to other platforms in other to stream, no features are worth having our content scrapped for generative ai. Have fun getting sued by the EU since this is an opt in feature by the way

    This feature is just horrible, and the fact that's automaticaly activate is horrible and such a massive disrespect to streamers !

    It's a professional mistake from Twitch, and they clearly need to at least change things to be more respectful with all streamers.

    But the best thing they can do is to remove all this AI sh*t off the platform... Listen to us Twitch ! Stop with this f*cking AI bullsh*t !

    Making any user of Twitch have to opt out of any kind of AI usage or interference is not a good professional look. If it must be included it should be at the users discretion to opt in if desired.

    I’m already paying higher costs for water, electricity and computer parts due to AI. Not to mention the damage to the environment, personal security and personal choices.

    I’ve been on the fence about continuing to use Twitch but this company choice is tipping the scales.

    Don't use our streams to train AI in the first place. I don't want this. No one wants this. AI is not the future. Stop shoving it down our throats.

    I haven't come across a single fellow streamer/viewer who has WANTED the AI features or are happy to have their content used for AI training (Or anything else!). The fact that this was dealt with the way it was is extremely disappointing. It's time Twitch puts their users first. Scrap AI and fix the app.

    I do NOT want AI to use my data and recommend me garbage or even use it to generate a clone of me based on chat behaviour or whatever.

    I don't know how much louder we have to get so that CEOs finally understand:

    WE. DO. NOT. WANT. AI.

    get it in your heads.

    Lemme put this another way, too - not only do we not want AI trained with our data as streamers - As a viewer, I don't want an AI feeding me ads, giving me badges, recommending anything to me, making new global emotes, modding me, attempting to auto correct what I'm saying, or serve me any new "flashy" website designs and features. While this is not an exhaustive list, my point is, I don't want anything after the AI has been trained!
