Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.

For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

    Opt in per default is illegal for anyone within the EU, as it goes against the GDPR (don't ask me which article exactly tho, i forgot)

    We asked for OPT-OUT BY DEFAULT. This is not meeting our demands. Twitch needs to get rid of this so called "feature".

    Why adding AI if you know most people dont like it. Theres alot of things needed to fix, focus on that.

    You said it yourself, if you made AI features "opt-in" no one would do it. Yes, there is a reason for this: no one wants to have their self and creativity scraped for a bot to learn to replace them.
    Remove the AI features, or make them fully optional, don't force creators into opting out, make it an opt-in process and DELETE the data you have scraped before people had a chance to opt out!
    Stay out of our chats, stay out of our videos, you already take so much from your creatives and their communities, at least leave their creativity alone!

    twitch is supposed to be a platform for creators, and generative ai is detrimental to that. the fact you literally stated "if it's opt-in, nobody will opt-in" speaks volumes about what a terrible idea this is. nobody wanted this and nobody asked for this. this is a major disservice to the creators and users that make twitch what it is. so please do your users and creators a favor and get rid of generative ai training and keep ai ******** out of twitch.

    No AI. AI hurts creators, it allows horrible deep fakes and people actually believe that stuff! I don't know how, but they do! Creators need to be able to CREATE and not have awful AI replications. AI is ruining creativity and should stick to being "glorified search engines" where it can find stuff and put it together for informational purposes - not making "art."

    Twitch is a CREATOR focused platform, and generative AI directly hurts creators of all kinds, be them creators of art, media, story, or literally any other form of creative expression. If twitch wants to maintain it's user rates, AI should not be at all a part of it. Not only just allowing creator's to opt out, not only making opt out the default, but not imposing it upon creators at all. I know big companies tend to not care about the creators, but as a platform for content creators, Twitch should.

    I've not been appreciative of any changes considering AI implementation to Twitch, especially when creators were not given the choice to opt-in or opt-out of training AI. We were automatically put into a queue of AI training that we did not ask for nor asked to participate. No AI.

    stating, VERBATIM, that "if it was opt-in, nobody would opt-in" means all of you KNOW that this is an awful, predatory act. it does a huge disservice to your entire userbase and every single creator who has made this place what it is. absolutely despicable. shame on all of you for not fighting this.

    It just goes to show you that even their own CPO admitted that if was Opt in by choice that no one would do it. So what does that say about the product? NO ONE WANTS IT.

    Agreed, no AI unless we actively opt-in. No scraping of ANYTHING unless we expressly give permission. This goes even for non-streamers comments in chat.

    Keep forcing AI on us, it totally makes people feel comfortable with the technology when you can't be open and transparent before forcing everyone to opt in.
