Generative AI is a poison and stealing our work to generate more slop is an insult to the entire medium. Making AI features Opt-out by default is the bear minimum, though I'd advice entirely against implementing *any* AI features at all.

I would prefer to never see AI on Twitch. This idea is the very least twitch can do. Make it so the default is not being included in AI and you have to manually opt-into AI.

Still, I think it's in twitch's better interest to abandon generative AI all together as it is not only morally repulsive and ecologically disastrous. It is also a massive money waster and would prompt creators to want to leave.

My vote is simple, don't do AI at all.

I will end every subscription I have through Twitch if this goes through. I will never use the platform for anything ever again.

No AI at all. No frigging genAI. Nobody asked for this, nobody wanted this. Keep it out or you're going to lose so much of your audience, let alone the streamers that are helping you make the **** money in the first place. I've had affiliate for over six years and I'll throw it out the window if you force genAI on me, and I know I'm not the only one.

Whatever payday you're expecting out of this, it will not be worth it when the bubble pops (and it should be evident that it is already popping) and you've burnt out the last remaining vestiges of userbase loyalty you had. If this is made mandatory, if there isn't so much as an option to opt out, people will migrate.

I am a streamer. Not a huge one, but I generate revenue for you like any other affiliate. If thieves and charlatans are given the run of my entire stream history, you will not have my contributions any more, and I will not be the only one.

If Twitch starts adopting a harder, pro-AI stance I will not only remove myself from the platform, I will further boycott all things owned by Amazon and end my Amazon Prime subscription. I've had nothing but guilt associated with Amazon and Amazon Prime, and if the corporation truly wishes to hollow out everything they touch for a penny, then they will never get a penny out of me again.

AI features need an opt-out, bar none.

God please for the love of god KEEP GEN AI AWAY FROM US. No matter how big or small of a streamer you might be, our channels are OUR safe spaces. Many people use their stream for art or make their own assets. It would be absolutely horrible to have Gen AI Slop ruin everything!

I do not wish to consent to my streams being used to train AI and do not feel comfortable interacting with such features as a subscriber either.

I don't care how entitled billionaires are, you don't get to just decide our content is your training data. None of us want AI to begin with, make it all optional at the bare minimum, and realize how much money AI is losing and is a waste of your effort if you actually have any brains in charge over at Twitch.

If this gets added and there's no way to opt out, I will be leaving for another platform. I give no consent to be used for slop like this.

Twitch, if you've paid any attention to people's reactions to generative AI over the last months and years, you would know that nobody, literally nobody has any interest in any kind of AI-related features. This would only drive users away and hurt your bottom line.

It should be that people get reimbursed for the value of their work providing the training data too. This is labor they are going to steal.

Pursuing GenAI for a creative space such as streaming is already a wild enough idea in the current climate surrounding AI in general, but then to slap it on us unwillingly and force it as an opt-out is genuinely predatory. I have never prepped to leave Twitch for another platform up until this point, but if these types of "features" keep being added I will be doing so in earnest.

Please keep generative AI away from my streams. I put my heart and soul into this creative outlet, and I do not want it to be fed into AI, nor do I want gen AI to touch my streams in any way.

Please at the VERY least have this opt-out by default, but ideally please just do not implement generative AI features at all. They do not help streamers, they do not generate profits. Your own parent company is hemorrhaging money and they are not alone in this.

Generative AI is not profitable, and will cause users of your service to seek alternaties. Please reconsider forcing this on us all, because no-one benefits from it.
