Theft is theft. Stop trying to boost your "x amount of people use it!". When in reality you're just forcing it down our throats.

The BEST option would be no genAI features at all, but in lieu of that, the bare minimum Amazon and Twitch can do for their creators is make these features totally optional & opt-out by default. I don't want my streams to feed this awful spam machine.

GenAI is a cancerous and costly blight on modern society. It steals jobs, encourages theft, destroys the environment, makes costs of electronic parts skyrocket, and worst of all it kills creativity and critical thinking in human beings. I will never, EVER approve any of my content being used to train GenAI, and I DO NOT need nor even want to use it to create.

Please stop drinking the AI Kool-Aid like every other corporation under the sun, Twitch. People *very* clearly do not want this.

Shouldn't even be optional. We don't want any AI involved with content creation, at all.

Twitch I do not consent to have you train your AI on me at all. This will do nothing but drive people away from thr platform and destory the communities people have built. This is a horrendous idea. This must be opt out by default at a minumum but should be not be implemented at all

We never wanted AI. We don't like AI. The bubble is popping and you still think this is a good idea when all media and statistics are showing this will be at a loss for you as well. Get rid of this idea and go in the time out corner. No one wants this.

Generative AI is a massive waste of money and resources. How is it that Twitch apparently has money for training AI, but not to pay their creators more?

AI features should be opt-out of by default. Training generative AI on streams is a breach of privacy and exposes thousands, millions of people’s data unnecessarily.

Absolutely ******* not. No genAI in streams, on platforms, no training data from users, whether streamer or not. Just do ******* not.

If Twitch decides to make AI training from streamers mandatory, I’m 500% out. There’s no world in which Twitch’s paltry rewards for streaming are worth selling our voices or identities.

No one wants AI in anything, truly this might actually be the most hostile action Twitch has ever taken against its creators, including things they've rolled back, and I hope if you even attempt this that you never get a good night's sleep again knowing how many people you've sold out to this monstrosity. You can't buy a soul and a stolen won will eat you from the inside-out.

I am, honestly, unsurprised there are plans to use Twitch Streams as "training data" for your plagiarism engines... or "generative AI" as you call them. If it *is* implemented and is not set up so that streamers must op-in to have their training data as a default (ie. a streamer's streams vods and clips must by default not be used for training data) then I, for one, and likely the majority of streamers who are paying attention will leave the platform entirely. Not just as creators, but as viewers as well.

Using your creators as content mills for your plagiarism machines is an unfathomably terrible idea and will hasten the demise of Twitch. Which, I confess, seems to be what you all are probably aiming for in the long run, once you've harvested your creators for as much data as you can steal from them.

No genAI Twitch. I don't want my streams harvested, I don't want to see other's streams harvested, and I will drop the platform entirely if it's not opt-out by default. I'm so tired of having to tell companies over and over that WE DON'T WANT THIS SLOP!!

There is no need for AI features at all. Twitch users already build communities that do mod work for streamers. Reports need to be handled by HUMAN staff. And most streamers have dedicated clippers. So what else would the features be for?
