Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.

For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

    I do not consent to my streams being used to train genAI, and I will surely leave the platform entirely if that is forced onto me. These features MUST have the option to opt out.

    Do not under any circumstances implement AI in this way or any way. From a business standpoint this is a terrible financial decision, from an ethical standpoint this is terrible on many levels. For the love of the platform do not use any more AI

    If you use our content to train ai, even if we can opt out, I will leave for YouTube. Ai is destroying our planet, the very concept of art, the very concept of research, reliability of information, etc. It will undo our entire society if you continue to let this rot go unchecked.

    There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been articulated better by other people in the comments. Please make AI features opt-out. Or better yet, just don't add AI features at all.

    I would rather stream on YouTube than submit my streams to AI content generation. Do not implement this.

    I would rather not have all of my bills jacked up even further and more tax dollars for y'all to train your stupid ai models, especially when WE DO NOT WANT YOUR AI PRODUCTS

    Just don't add them. At all.
    Literally, LITERALLY, no one on this platform, who is a creator without a very obvious conflict of interest (that means you Mr. Clancy) wants any of this.

    Do not implement Gen AI features and do not train Gen AI models on Twitch users' content!

    AI does not need to touch more than it already has and if it does continue with this "training" it will be like youre taking a rocket launcher to your foot. If you can't help yourselves and obliterate your legs, don't take us with you- Opt-out by default on ANY AI FEATURE so that we have a CHOICE in the matter before we CHOOSE to never use the site again and warn others from using it.

    How about NO AI! AI is a garbage tool that should only be used to sort data! It should NOT be anywhere near creative platforms and used to generate what people do for a living! It's not fair to actually artists, game developers, voice actors or anything of sort. Training AI is screwing over these talented people with generative SLOP!

    If it becomes an issue where Twitch uses livestreams from any of the creators on the platform to train AI... WITHOUT giving us the option to opt out of the AI training...

    ...I will be forced to find a different platform to stream on, and encourage everyone to do the same.

    Twitch will not survive this if AI features are completely optional and data scraping/training is op-out by default. Even if the streamers themselves don't leave, the viewers likely will because watching REAL people with REAL lives and opinions and thoughts and actions are what streaming is all about, and if average people can't find the only good thing about your site easily, they will leave.

    Larger creators may be tethered to the site, but smaller, tighter communities can and will find better, AI free spaces to consume and produce content. Most large streamers also community build on platforms outside of Twitch, and for good reason, and viewers will likely find alternative ways to watch their favorites, especially now with Patreon and other platforms introducing streaming.

    That isn't even to speak on the untold amount of regular people (the ones you pay YOUR bills) who are either ambivalent toward or absolutely despise AI with many people who once favored it changing their minds. You will end up investing millions into dead features and you will have lost what little good faith you have left.

    Likewise, if you take a concrete stance AGAINST AI, you could have the reverse affect. You will stand out amongst the hundreds of corporations using AI. You'll regain trust. You might even spark more newbies to start streaming on your platform instead of sticking to other sites. You could make a better name for yourself that you already desperately need.
