Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.
For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

If, for whatever reason, twitch thinks that this AI addition is completely, 100% necessary (spoiler alert, it isn't!), then if it is indeed added, having it be something that the user needs to opt-in into is the best way to address it. Don't make it a thing that is enabled to everyone by default, make it something that people actively choose to participate in.
But to be honest, the best thing to do is to just not do it at all, just the fact that it's present will alienate most of your userbase. We know that twitch is the go-to streaming platform, but I've seen many creators already planning on completely stopping streaming because of this, some of which are going to do it whether or not this is implemented, so think better on it, don't lose more of them, and don't add AI learning to twitch.

If Twitch forces AI on me and my channel I will simply stop using Twitch, that's all there is to it.

AI features should always be optional, and off by default.
Also, this is a costly and wasteful implementation that will likely result in those costs being passed along to users (higher sub prices, increased ads, and price hikes for Turbo users).

How does AI help any one of us? There's already so many fake bots out there on so many other social media sites, what do you hope to ever accomplish with trying to repeat that here other than stealing what works for our communities and mudding that down into what? Fake, AI streamers? This, I view, is quite literally risking what makes you money in the first place—the real people who create on your website.

This AI feature has been commonly used to steal and plagerize other people’s work, no way will I or anyone else will use AI generation to steal from others.

genAI is proven time & time again to be a money sink & a resource waste. Why is amazon/twitch trying to hop on a sinking ship.
I'd rather have the option automatically off & you have to opt IN to it. Opting OUT is only used to catch the unaware off guard & assume consent where there is none.

Only an extremely small minority of creators want this, don't waste your time adding it, but if you do, do us all a favor and make it opt in by default

Generative AI is theft and makes everything worse, simple as. Artists, creators, streamers, and everyone in between shouldn't have to give a darn about it, especially not when companies deign to push it on us all. Twitch is supposed to be for streaming, playing cool games together, and building community online, and generative AI has no use case whatsoever in any of these. I'd personally hope that Amazon and Twitch see this backlash and drop AI training altogether, but I'd still much appreciate making gen AI features 100% optional and turned off by default.

If there is no consent, that is THEFT. There needs to be choice, and it needs to be an informed decision. Can Twitch just do the right thing by its creators for once? It's hard enough to thrive on the platform as it is, we don't need it leeching us for training data on top of it all.
Twitch already messed up on more occasions than I can count (ex: generating emotes and category covers instead of asking ANY ONE of the thousands of artists and giving them a wonderful opportunity). Now it wants to use our streams to train models that will take away more opportunities from us?
GenAI enthusiasm on Twitch feels really out of touch. Streams are supposed to be about HUMAN conversation, HUMAN connection, HUMAN experience. There are so many things that Twitch could be focusing on to make things better for creators and viewers... this AI push is definitely not the move. Please do better.

Aside from the detriment to the environment that generative AI creates, it is the antithesis of the act of creation. This is a bad move for your company, which already makes money off the efforts of the creators that stream on your platform. If you insist upon this path, it needs to be opt-in (off by default).
