Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.
For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

It's clear that you knew the community didn't want this and yet you did it anyway. I'm so exhausted of seeing AI absolutely everywhere. Twitch is supposed to be a space for communities and people, not AI that are actively harming artists and communities through generated content and environmental destruction.

OH BOY MORE AI SLOP THE OVERLORDS SHILL UPON US. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO, AI KILLS CREATIVITY, STOP HARVESTING US FOR AI TRAINING. Ai has no place here or hardly anywhere else, we don't want this, you know we don't want this, I am not training my ai slop replacement

anything that takes user data should be an opt-in system, not an opt-out system that is sneakily deployed without informing the user base. ESPECIALLY when it involves training generative AI systems. you know people wouldn't opt-in which is why you implemented it in the manner you did, which is straight up bs.

Disgusting. No one wants AI forced on them, let alone to have their own content and messages used to train it. I hope it costs y'all a LOT of money, since that's the only thing you seem to care about now that morality has gone out the window.

Please keep AI off this platform. Gen AI has no place in the creative space and actively makes the platform worse through its use

Implementing this so widely without consent will have consequences. Shame on Twitch and Amazon for assuming everyone would just roll over and take this.

We are not too stupid to know what these features are for. Nobody wants to use them because they aren't for us. I will not be complicit in training my own replacement. My content is not yours, and you should show more gratitude for the content creators who have made you what you are. Twitch is not too big to fail, and we will go elsewhere if you keep pushing us like this. Opting out by default is quite literally the least you could do to at least pretend you care at all about your user base.

many people won't know this exists, and haven't agreed to have their content stolen and trained by the platform they're using. I for one NEVER would agree to having my content stolen and trained into a database.

As an artist who regularly uses your platform, this was genuinely terrifying to hear. Not only did I hear nothing of this directly from twitch, but to sneak this in feels slimey and two faced. Artists actively trust your platform everyday and to sneak this feature in shows just how much you care about that trust.

opt-out by default should be the default standard. Keep our content OURS. Not some clankers training wheels.

This is the f*cking stupidest thing Twitch has decided to do date and that is REALLY saying something, and we all know why! Twitch is "having issues with generating revenue" yet Amazon is valuated at like a bazillion dollars and it's still not enough money for these pr*cks! F*ck Twitch and every rich @$$h0le who thinks this is a sound business decision! Even the Google devil has people opted-out by default for AI video training, though in like 5 years we'll probably find out that was also a lie, but at least they cared enough to lie about it! I hope all the pathetic money you end up making off this goes into Jeff Bezos' next rocket that can then be shoved straight up his @$$!

I do not want Gen AI to learn from my content. The setting that was added should've been OFF not on by default. Noone asked me about it, noone notified, I discovered it by accident. If Twitch would pay Bits for allowing Gen AI to learn from my content I would consider it.

You are very clearly aware that the vast, VAST majority of users DO NOT want this. And STILL you completely ignore your userbase, the people that make your platform even possible. Shame on you. Shame on you and every company that continues to blatantly ignore the valid concerns about genAI integration and continue forcing it in every digital space. It is a waste of resources and not your userbase's fault that your executives are too stupid to realize (or too morally bankrupt to care) they are pouring money into an environment-destroying, data-scraping, content-thieving, invasive and utterly garbage 'technology'.
You may think you are too big to fall but you will if you continue to abuse and ignore your community. DO BETTER. -

GenAI is hot garbage and I'm so tired of it stealing work and being forced upon us. I'd rather Twitch remove anything to do with AI but at the VERY least, have everyone be opted out by default.

Users should have to opt-in, nothing this invasive should ever be opt-out. There are so many creatives using Twitch, why on earth would you presume we're all okay with you feeding our work/likenesses into any AI system?

I'm so done with this pattern of abusive, non consensual theft of creative energy. I -was- planning on doing my art streams on Twitch soon but this has completely sandbagged my desire to use it at all for my content creation going forward, zero respect for creators..

Get AI away from anything intrusive at all. If it has access to my card info or personal info and images get it away. If its something that twitch has that creators want to use themselves, that's a different story. But definitely should not be on by default and should have access to as little as possible.
