Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.
For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

as someone who's just starting out, it's heart breaking I have to start out with this kind of nonsense. I was just getting a foot hold and now I'm being watched by some garbage AI system. I've been a viewer since before Bits where a thing and now I'm forced to leave (Yes, forced to leave I'm not partaking in training AI if I """MAY""" not have an option to opt out of.) the platform due to a decision I never asked for, I have no say in, or control over. I desperately hope Twitch reconsiders this decision and let's us ABSOLUTELY opt out. otherwise I have to pack up and go somewhere else.

No, no. NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.
I already heavily loathe the attempt at making "Ai summary" a thing. This will drive away an incredible amount of streamers. This would be a disaster to implement. The less Ai and "Computer Rendered Artificial Product" there is. The better. -

I don't just want AI features opt-in, I don't want them on the site AT ALL. Get rid of them! Nobody actually wants this **** and it's just a waste of money and resources.

AI doesn't foster human connection, which is basically the entire conceit of Twitch.

There should be ZERO LLM on twitch and if you force it on us it needs to be by default turned off, users must go through a triple confirmation to even opt in.
by default it needs to be off, not allowed, and Twitch needs to change its tos to allow twitch and its staff to be sued if this is turned on by default

Quite frankly, I'd rather them not implement this AI **** in the first place, but at the very least it should be opt-out and the setting starts at opt-out

This isn't it chief. I won't interact or spend money on the platform if AI is integrated.

I just started using Twitch and I will immediately stop if what I produce gets anywhere near AI features or training.

**** AI! Using AI is basically a death sentence for Twitch! No AI!

Horrible. No. No no no. I will not be using Twitch if this is implemented, even if there is an opportunity to opt out. Vile. Train your AI slop elsewhere; streams are not a place for it.

Genuine question how the fu** does this help Twitch as a platform?
No one wants this even if has a opt out feature no to Gen AI that's just stealing people's hard work and is actively killing the environment.

Wait another 5~10 years before even CONSIDERING using AI. There is so much stigma (rightfully so) against AI, especially in creative spaces. Artists all over are having to deal with heavily expedited theft of their work and all this is doing is casting a larger net of the same. If invasive AI features are implemented, Twitch might just finally die for good.
Even FLOATING this idea will hurt Twitch. Actual implementation will start an exodus.

Twitch, if you were looking for a way to kill your platform, training AI off a user's stream is that way. Having an Opt Out function for this is the bare minimum you could do to make this palatable.

how about just don't do anything with AI at all, that would be much more beneficial to everyone

Nope nope nope. This is a dangerous game to play. AI is a financial risk that Twitch can't afford to shove onto its users who are already bleeding off of wanting to create.
There's already internal friction on this amongst people in Twitch, and the general public perception of it is already negative with jobs being stolen, art and assets being stolen and then companies sinking due to AI hurting their bottom lines. This is not a good idea financially for Twitch, nor do creators want their content funneled into AI.
Twitch is its community, and the community says no.
I do not consent to my voice, likeness or content to be used in AI models, and I would like that to be respected.

Giving us the choice instead of defaulting it on is the better option, but this shouldn't be a thing at all. Stop trying to force AI features that no one wants onto us. Work on helping us not trying to steal things from us.

if our streams are to be used to train ai, that will be the last straw. i will close my affiliation for twitch and never stream to it again.
our loyalty has been tested time and time again, twitch has only gone down hill in every way and the treatment of the users and streamers is sickening and despicable.
i am done with ai trying to take the likeness of humanity by copying real projects and giving profit to a few rich dudes who dont need it. i am exhausted but i will not back down and give in, and neither should the rest of us.
