Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.
For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

AI is going through a downturn and a slow, but assured, bubble pop and y'all still have the confidence to try and pull this? Naw. I'll pull all my subscriptions at the behest of the streamers I follow if this goes through. Not a single one of them is excited about this idea either.

Not even opt-out. These things need to be opt-in only. Default that they do this and we have to disable it only means they can come back in and enable it with an "update" to the service and not tell us. Out should be the default state, and only used when a streamer explicitly opts in.

AI has no place on Twitch.

I fully understand that this is an “innovative” craze that many businesses are doing as of late, but AI is not something I want to be a part of nor do I think twitch should be a part of. If it is here to stay, I humbly ask for the ability to opt out of its features.

I don't want AI being trained on my streams. No one on Cabletwo does. If you're going to insist on rolling this out to convince shareholders this isn't a bubble, let us opt out completely. Otherwise, we're moving to self hosting our streams.

The last thing that Twitch needs is for their streamer base to be populated by AI-generated streamers who make garbage out of other people's genuine streams.
Make this "scrape my stream for the LLM overlords" feature opt-out by default, or this platform WILL lose a significant portion of its streamers AND viewers. We will migrate elsewhere if we have to.

I don't need AI for my stream. I don't want it on the site in general but bare minimum let us be opted out of it by default.

I cannot articulate how much of a bad idea integrating AI into streaming would be for everyone involved. You are jeopardizing the livelihoods of so many people for an imaginary speculative market that has to this day not returned on a single investment. It is bad for the planet. It is anathema to creative expression. Twitch will assuredly regret blowing millions or billions on this. Nobody wants this. Nobody asked for it. Stop shoving AI into ******* everything. We don't need it. We don't want it.

Absolutely absurd. Twitch will never have my permission to train anything I produce for their generative Ai.

This feature would only make me more likely to start seeking out alternatives to watch live performances and streamers. it seems very unlikely to add anything positive to the features the website enables and would ultimately cost more in user good faith than it would produce in any features.

Twitch cannot present themselves as a platform that values creators, then turn around and steal their likenesses, hard work, voices, and performances for the slop machine. Nobody wants this.

Since we're addressing a corporation, a fundamentally selfish agent, the appeal is to their own interest. "AI" is about to enter its third winter, this will lead to massive losses both as the product is not profitable and also to the loss of what confidence twitch streamers have left in the platform.
The best move is to not turn twitch into an LLM content farm. A distant second is to make it clearly optional.

What is it with Rich Old White Guys and AI?
Every Single bad idea comes from them. Companies are burning billions of dollars on AI machines. Its literally sucking up all of our resources and burning the planet alive but please tell me how much of a boon it'll be.
We dont want it, but hey the billionaire needs his AI fix so make it opt in (should be the norm but standards are low) and add mandatory visible tags for those who do opt in so I know who to avoid. -

Generative AI is abhorrent. I love community, gaming, and communicating with others. I have enjoyed Twitch as a platform for years. I do not wish to see Twitch engage in something as harmful as generative AI. It discourages creativity. It discourages community. It is harming the very planet we all call home. If you are going to, unfortunately, use AI then make sure to make it so that everyone is able to completely opt out of use, tracking, and training. I used to stream frequently, and have wanted to return to it, but I want no part in GenAI.

Stop trying to squeeze dry your creators, is bc of them that the site exists to begin with. Be on their side, not a mindless corp that sees profit instead human beings.
Absolutely do not implement ai at all. -

Not a creator so I don't know if twitch would listen to me on this. But maybe they'd listen to the resulting ad revenue dip when people stop watching AI training streams.
