I'm so tired of people trying to FORCE AI onto us despite how many times we've protested against it.
I don't want to but if this is implemented and I'm forced to have LITERALLY ANY kind of AI scraping off of me or any of my friends/people I follow, I will no longer be using twitch and will simply just stick to supporting them elsewhere.

Stop trying to force this **** onto us, Twitch. When are you going to get it through yourselves that EVERYONE on your platform basically hates AI and wants nothing to do with it? This has happened like...what, twice? Three times already? I dont want ANY AI training off of anything on Twitch. Not even a little teensy tiny bit.

I'm so ******* sick of AI features being crammed down my throat everywhere I go. I don't want to opt out. I want everybody to stop burning money on generative AI, and I want every single person involved it trying to push it into every facet of my life to get fired. Out of a cannon. Into the sun.

I am a Twitch streamer, a moderately successful one, and I will burn everything I have created to the ground if you ruin this platform with your ******* slop. Nobody wants this ****. Nobody is asking for this. Stop pretending that if you just jam it into every product that people will finally be forced to accept it. We won't.

I'm against the idea of implementing ANY and ALL forms AI features. As many have said: DON'T pursue this. Expand on the other features you have WITHOUT the use of AI.

I do not want my streams to be used for AI training. Absolutely not. I do not want any other AI features. No "clip that" no auto-summary, nothing. Do not.

Please don't do this. So many people will leave this platform. You will loose MILLIONS from loss of income by people leaving the platform, removing all their content from the site and never going live again, at least not on Twitch. I voted yes on making everything AI related optional and opt out by default, but I would go further by saying DO NOT PUT AI AT ALL! It's just bad for business! Bad for the planet! So many of us refuse to use plugins like StreamElements now because of this 'learning from what you make' AI ****.

AI is destructive to the creative environment that influencer platforms like twitch need to thrive.

You have no idea how many creators will attack you for this. AI training is theft of identity, intellectual property, and visual media. It has no place on Twitch.

I genuinely believe you will kill this platform if you force creators to opt in to training AI. People watch streamers for the HUMAN aspect, not regurgitated AI slop.

I've been on the platform since the JTV days and will stop using it immediately if this is implemented, even if it's opt-out.

AI is the single most worthless endeavor in human history. It does not improve services that it is integrated into, the sources it uses to train and its output are both a legal minefield to navigate, and can never surpass the material or people whose output it was trained on. Never implement it. If you simply must implement it, NO ACTUALLY, YOU DO NOT NEED TO IMPLEMENT IT, AND NEVER SHOULD.

The current trend of AI having to be injected into every medium whilst not being wanted by the vast majority is wild.
AI is simply a money sink where large companies can dump way too much into whilst getting negative growth to their platform.

Realistically no one wants any of this and theirs so much more that can be done to improve Twitches overall experience without using AI.

If they even try to implement training their AI using our streams I will genuinely delete every single vod and then my twitch and stream literally anywhere else, then get everyone I know to do the same.

AI training is trash, and I genuinely think that this will kill the platform if they actually start using AI trash on the platform.

Do you want to absolutely destroy a platform? Because opting people in to having their data used to train AI is how you destroy a platform.

I just started streaming recently this year, and while it's been the highlight of my week I can say for absolute certain that if Twitch goes all in on generative AI I will leave the platform and stream elsewhere.

Twitch and Amazon cannot afford the potential droves of class action suits that will result from this. If you haven't been paying attention, OpenAI is still undergoing a trial for numerous reasons, much like the data scraping that you all intent to [and probably already are] engaging in.

Twitch can improve in different ways. GenAI is not the path. We don't need more destruction of the planet. We don't need more noise pollution from whichever data centers you're planning on or are ALREADY using. We don't need to be creating a shortage on ******* water.

You need to stop chasing AI as a whole. You will not save it, you will not bail it out. Twitch as a whole has and continues to alienate and damage their userbase, but won't do much about it because their top 25 streamers stay loyal to them.

The content we make is our own, the amount of time we spend curating our streams, making the layouts, the emotes and the various other bits is OUR time. If we're not able then we can pay an actual, living, breathing artist to do what may be needed.

In the end this is all coming down to money. What currency are you planning on implementing when this thing launches ? How much more will you take away from streamers ?

Do not pursue this. Do not force this on us. Sit down and actually spend time fleshing out the 15 other features you've implemented and done **** all with.

Hey, um, please DON'T use Twitch streams to train AI. No one wants this, it's an invasion of privacy, and it completely sucks. PLEASE don't.

Please allow users to ALWAYS be able to opt-out of any AI feature current or future. Not following this will lead to the death of Twitch as a platform.
