Please restore the Hype Train goal details (bits/subs) in the info!
The latest (8/20/24) update to the Hype Train UI removed the essential information about how many bits/subs it takes to complete that Hype Train level. This is a step backwards, as having that information adds even more "fun" to the Hype Trains, because it allows the community to play games with "edging" the train levels, or lets them contribute just enough to make a certain percentage (or to complete the level exactly).
What would be better, is if it actually specifically showed the REMAINING bits/subs in order to make the train level up.
As it stands now, part of the fun of the Hype Train (knowing exactly how much to contribute) has been unfortunately removed, and -- at least for me -- is making me less likely to participate as much in trains.
Please consider at least restoring that information in the Hype Train UI.

+1, revert this change please. Although in lieu of that I would accept a very exciting and intellectually challenging explanation of why the new opaque approach is superior somehow.

Agree with all of the above, aptly expressed by @Gnare.
Brutal update to the UI that makes it markedly less helpful for streamers and viewers alike. SUBtember of all times to roll out a major overhaul (for the worse) of the Hype Train UI seems...ill-advised at best.

Please stop trying to turn everything related to money on Twitch into a mysterious black box of unknowable-ness.
Also, people like Gnare being less motivated to contribute to hype trains is going to make that income line on your financial charts drop noticeably faster than it already has been...

I completely agree on that part, also why can't they prices the same for bits and subs on mobile and desktop, don't see the point on having 2 different prices honestly.

I agree completely with all sentiments.

This was the most exciting feature about hype trains, as a streamer having this removed is absolutely inexplicably a step back. Please bring it back!

Gnare is right on the money here. If someone has no idea what is needed to get to the next level, they are far less inclined to give that extra push to extend it. Unknown goal posts are not fun for almost anyone to strive for.

I agree wholeheartedly with Gnare. Instead of making the hype train user interface LESS informative, please restore the former UI and progress in the direction of fun by adding information stating precisely how many bits/subs must be contributed to reach the next level. Bring the joy back to hype trains.

To add a little more context - I often will contribute just enough to bring the train to 95% or more, to allow other community members to "push the train level" -- this increases engagement, as people then get a stronger feeling of "helping" when their contribution levels the train up! :)
I also use the info to know how much to contribute to "save the train" just in time, etc.
