    To add a little more context - I often will contribute just enough to bring the train to 95% or more, to allow other community members to "push the train level" -- this increases engagement, as people then get a stronger feeling of "helping" when their contribution levels the train up! :)

    I also use the info to know how much to contribute to "save the train" just in time, etc.

    This is STILL broken, 8+ months later.

    Any chance in sight on getting this addressed/fixed? It really makes participating in Golden Kappa trains less fun when it doesn't refresh the duration.

    +1 to this for sure.

    I used to be able to "fudge" this w/ the experimental cookie, but that's gone as of a few days ago, and it's ridiculously annoying to not have the auto-expand any more.

    I am legitimately confused why Twitch wouldn't just leave the feature in as an option for viewers to enable/disable as they choose. It would greatly increase User Experience to have this ability to expand-on-hover as an official Twitch feature.

    Hey all! Thanks for this thread. We recently deprecated anonymous Cheering after we discovered it was being abused. While we understand some viewers prefer not being recognized for Cheering, we made this change to ensure a safer experience for those who were negatively impacted.

    We’ve also heard your concerns on what this means for the future of Bits. This deprecation is not related to any plans to limit Cheering with Bits on Twitch, and is solely focused on providing a safer experience for our community.

    I'm a little confused how anon bits are being abused. And if this is the case, why not make "anon cheering" something an individual streamer can Enable/Disable? Disabling them globally is throwing the baby out with the bath water :(

    +1 on this. There needs to be a way to delete messages sent by other mods -- would be extra-nice if it would delete only that one message (but that functionality should exist for everyone, anyway)
