Support Moderators
Moderators seem like the unsung heroes of Twitch. Especially for daily IRL streamers, they put in hours upon hours of work sifting through message after message and making sure harmful content does not seep through the cracks. They filter out any flame wars and make sure that the members in chat have an enjoyable experience. Yet very few moderators make compensation for their efforts. And none make anywhere near the amount the streamers they moderate for do. Therefore, why not provide some type of incentive for moderators to keep putting in the work? Why not either provide them with a small percentage of any bits or subs that are given to the streamer or make it possible for followers to donate bits to a moderator? Twitch takes a whopping 50% of all subscribers. Why not provide a tiny percent of that to the people that are putting in work daily behind the scenes? I mean it is almost laughable that this was not factored in already.

i moderate for 9 diff channels 3 of them over 1k viewers and i have never felt the need to desire payment, i have always done it to help the streamer, donate my time to help them, i wouldn't dream of asking for their hard-earned income.
though i can agree it would be nice if as a streamer i can opt into tipping or add a percentage based payment to moderators, but i expect this would always come from the streamers 50% not from twitches.
