give a more descriptive/precise expiration dates for VODs because sometimes i wasn't done highlighting a VOD that is about to expire but saying I have 1 day left before it's gone which is fine, but the next day it so happens to have expired. Some of the VODs have 0 days left but then it outlasts the other VODs that were supposed to be gone. So not sure if this is a thing but I do hope there would be a proper implementation of a better countdown timer for expiring VODs

Security footage that is required for police investigations is sometimes uploaded to YouTube. So if anything you have deleted content that is was being used in a police investigation. Allow Users to Cut Videos during a live stream. When it is recorded they can specify a cut and when the stream appears in "Past Broadcasts" it will appear as 2 videos which switch at the point of the cut, with the game and title being that set at the start of each.
So say I start a livestream I call "building a bridge" and the game is "minecraft" and later switch to "tf2 and the title "I'm gunna git you sukka", then specify a cut, 2 past broadcast VODS will be created.

Mandatory 24-Hour VOD Window to Stop TOS Dodging Bad actors are routinely violating Twitch's TOS during live streams and instantly deleting the VODs to dodge accountability and leave no paper trail. To fix this, Twitch should require all streamers to keep their VODs published (or in subscriber-only mode) for at least 24 hours before they can be deleted. To protect creators from legitimate mistakes, everyone should be given a limited number of "emergency deletes" per week to use at their discretion.

A system to color code videos and clips Would love a system that acts like the "tags" on apple folders that let us give a color tag to VODs in our Video Producer section.
For example people could sort their videos as:
Green dot tag: "Ready for Editing"
Yellow dot tag: "Not sent our for edit yet"
Red dot tag: "Already Edited/No Edit"This could also help streamers streamline the editing process with their editors. Allowing Editors to easily download VODs marked as ready for Edit and ignore VODs already edited, or marked for no editing.

Add 10/30 second skip buttons to VOD player Can we get quick skip forward/backward controls when watching past broadcasts, similar to what other video platforms offer, to make navigating VODs easier 10 to 30 seconds should be fine it’s hard scrolling through time line on an iPad especially long ones the smallest finger scroll could be 5 min or something and trying to re watch something 10 seconds ago you could have to go back multiple minutes just to see it again. I only watch on iPad not sure if this is just an issue for iPads only or just the platform in general

VoD Comment/Chat Function An option to add comments based on your current point in the VoD, or to interact with current chat and link to current view point, would make VoDs a much more interactive and community based function. I can't count the numbers of times I've wanted to comment something on a VoD.

Hide only the region locked chapter of a VOD instead of the whole thing I often find myself unable to watch a VOD because only a portion of it contains a chapter with a category locked by local law (gambling in this case), making me unable to watch the remaining portion of it even if allowed. Do something like the audio censor with DMCA music, in this case you also put a black screen on it

a button that lets you go back to previous points you were on a vod Basically an undo button for a vod. So if you were clicking around on the vod, and saw a moment you were interested in, clicking the button or hotkeys similar to ctrl+z would go back to the previous point you clicked on that vod. So if i clicked around a dozen times on a vod, i can spam it 6 times to get to the part i was at the 6th time i clicked on the seek bar. Since vods are so long, this would help find specific moments you might have been interested in but didnt take note of…

Allow editors to watch VOD even if they don't subscribe I used Google Translate so the sentences may be strange.
I'm an editor for a certain channel, and I don't like the fact that only subscribers can view the archives.
Editors can download the subscriber-only archives, but they can't view them.
The channel owner asked me to make a clip, but when I try to edit the subscriber-only archive, it says "Subscribe!", making it virtually impossible to create a clip.

Sub only VOD per stream (choice) Idea: After a stream is finished, we can set that particular stream as a Sub only VOD without having ALL VODs set to Subscriber only.
