Error feedback for Clip creation page The current error message on the Clip Creation Page is not helpful at all. It is a frustrating waste of time/effort to spend a couple minutes trimming a clip, rewatching it, and titling it only to receive this error that provides zero insight into why it occurred or how to fix it. New clip creator, editor (always) starts with audio muted The new clip creator, editor (Create Clip, Edit Clip screen/menu) starts with muted audio, so you have to unmute the clip you're creating, editing, or just saved and rewind it because of autoplay each time you open the creator/editor. Please make the editor start with unmuted audio, or better yet, remember the audio mutedness state like the rest of the site, so if you had the audio muted on the last page you watched something on (stream, VOD, clip) the clip you're creating/editing will start with audio off, otherwise it will start unmuted.

Show the real date of an edited clip on the phone app Hello,
i edited a clip and made it shorter than the original was. (great feature btw)
Now it shows on the normal twitch web page, that the clip was made 8 month ago (which is correct) but on the Phone app it shows the date where i edited the clip.
It should show the original date and not when i edited the clip on the phone app, since it is the same clip from 8 months ago and it would confuse the viewer when the same clip suddenly hasn't the original date anymore.

Allow us to easily leap to the point in a VOD where a clip was created At times, it'd be handy to be able to find out where exactly a Clip happened in your VOD. This could be extremely handy for creating a new Clip that's a bit longer than a viewer made it, or perhaps you know something else that you'd like to Clip happened a minute or two before/after that. I've more often than not found myself having to search through my own VODs for the moment a specific Clip happened in order to find what I need, and optimise my content for TikTok.

Clips should remember their VOD in case it is posted later. If you take a clip, and the creator of the stream does NOT have auto-publish on, but even if the creator later publishes the VOD, the clip never connects to the VOD.
e.g. if you go to the clip, it'll claim the VOD is expired/no chat/...
Clips should NOT claim the VOD is expired if it is not expired (and just hasn't been published yet). Just have it say the VOD is not published yet, and once it's published, have it properly show the chat (and add the link to "watch full vod at right timestamp")

Add "Watch Full Video" button next to "Watch Live" button on clips At the time of writing this, the "Watch Full Video" button appears on clips on the following conditions:
- If the clip is created from a VOD and that VOD is available
or

Allow Clip Length highlights to transerfe/become/be Clips The highlight editor is a much nicer tool to make a stack of Clips with in the first place.
I don't have many making clips of stuff I do on my channel.
But scrubbing content to turn into clips my self is a lotta work, compared to just making a stack of 30-40 seconds length highlights from easy set marker points made during the stream.
But highlights don't benefit from the recent changes to Clips...
So it would benefit my workflow and time greatly if the highlight editor could also just make the short highlight as Clips instead.4 votes -

The columns for Channel, Featured, Created, and Views are all obscenely wide, which leaves no room at all for the Title. Now we can only see the first word of the titles, making it much too hard to identify clips without clicking on every single one.Solution 1: Widen column for title, and narrow columns for Channel, Featured, Created, and Views.
Solution 2: Give users the ability to adjust the column width ourselves by dragging lines left and right.

improving clip editor The clip editor has helped save some time, mostly with formatting, but I feel that it lacks some crucial factors. like some, I add custom graphics to the clips, one being a animated pop up of my channel name that I had created in after effects, its simple and that's all I add, with the occasional subtitle.
currently as it stands, the formatting and instant upload to YouTube are the pros, but not being able to go further is what is currently holding this feature back from being even more useful

Change the URLs of clips to include the channel Currently the format for URLs of clips are as following:
https://clips.twitch.tv/WordWordWordWordWord-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXThis doesn't show which channel the clip is on, and it causes issues when you want to filter URLs on your stream.
I want to filter URLs, except URLs to my content. That is currently not possible for Twitch-clips.
I suggest a new format of the following:
https://clips.twitch.tv/Username/...This way I could allow all links that are "twitch.tv/ponponthebonbon" and reject all other links.
And if this change would be applied, I would also not mind it if the five words were removed. They make links long and unwieldy…

Feedback about the New Vertical Clip Editor The new vertical clip editor needs more features. Some examples would be, different shapes for the camera box and being able to maneuver the placement of the items in the clip. Everything currently looks too big while the gameplay itself is too small.

clip manager Please add functionality to mark clips safe from global delete, and make it persist across sessions. Using the select all box and unchecking individual boxes puts clips in danger first, and if you accidentally leave the page all selections are reset.
I would love to be able to check my clips weekly, select the ones I want to mark safe, then use the delete all button for any I don't want to keep.

Easier/more detailed clip search filters It would be such a help if some "quality of life" changes could be done to the clip manager in creator dashboard>content>clips.
Some changes that I would love would be a more detailed searching system for clips: including a search bar for a clip's title, and more filters such as category ALONG with channel instead of them being separate.There's also some bugs(?) which could be fixed, such as the "sort by views" not always working 100% correctly (clips in incorrect order), the "enter a category/channel" sometimes making the whole clips section of the page go blank after entering a…

A folder system for clips. Vods dont stay up long so this wouldnt work for it permanently, but on a temporary note, it would work.
It would make it so much easier for me to know what clips i edit and trimmed or re-titled for upload. So i could make folders for games. Make a new clip, title it, and drag it into said folder. Then i can have said folder titled "Clips to upload" or "Clips not to upload" for example. Now when i…

Keep the original clipper credited when an editor edits an old clip When a channel editor edits a clip made more than 1 month ago by another viewer, for example to fix the title or mobile layout, the "Clipped by" credit on the clip changes from the viewer to the editor, while keeping the URL and the viewcount.
This means editors can't tidy up old or badly-titled clips without silently taking credit from the community members who made them. Revert this change and allow us to create a clip as long as we trim out the section that has Copyrighted Audio. Okay so, up until recently if we click the clip button and part of the 2 minutes of clippable footage contained some copyrighted audio, as long we trimmed out the part that has the copyrighted audio the clip could be created successfully. If we didn't trim it out, we would get a red bar that says the clip could not be created.
Now you have added an error message pop-up informing us of copyrighted audio and allowed us to attempt to continue editing the clip (which is a very good change) but now we're not able to proceed from there…
