Allow streamers to add clips to collections
Sometimes there's no point in creating highlights because other people have already created awesome clips. It would be really nice to be able to add clips to collections, so relevant videos, whether highlight or clip, can be viewed together.

I know this is old, but with Twitch making more use of clips this fall, I hope they revisit this idea. Letting us sort our clips into collections or another folder/playlist system would be awesome. I would love to have a collection of clips of my dog, clips by game (or franchise, like all of Zelda), etc. Twitch please make this happen!

Everything you said is a GREAT idea. It's strange that we can group clips together.
Hoping that they work on this. because I think it's an easy thing to do.

Yeah, it's weird that Collections can't also contain Clips. It'd be really nice to see this. Not sure why this other issue with more votes is locked: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/297558-general/suggestions/33775027-allow-streamers-to-add-clips-to-collections

You can use https://MomentMaker.live to render Twitch Clips together to a single video and export it to Youtube or other social media

I vote for this feature. I want to be able to categorize them for example, these set of clips will belong to Clutch Album, Funny Album, Random Album, Bug Album, etc.

I like this idea. I want to be able to watch my clips without having to click on them all, they just keep going from clip to clip until they end or until I stop them. I want to have a clip playlist for my Starting Soon and BRB scenes on Streamlabs OBS. The only way I've been able to manage this is by downloading all of the clips and then compiling them on a video editor myself which is quite time consuming and not something I want to have to redo every time there is a new clip made from my stream.

Not sure how to do clips still have a lot to learn but it’s sound cool

This is a much-needed feature. It'll increase visibility of clips ten-fold and ensure that people are able to find them much easier than the current system of scrolling through hundreds of clips to find the one you want.

Summary:
> If you clip a video, you can make a Collection for it.
> A streamer can make Collections of other users clips of their channel.
> Other user’s Collections of streamers should be visible on both Streamer and Clippers channel.A great feature which could be integrated could be to allow Clips to be put into a Collection. This would allow the Streamer to pick out favourites from their community clips and put them into a Collection for others to watch.
Ie, sometimes someone makes a fantastic clip from a VoD that never got high views/was shared but might be hilarious to the streamer. Or making a collection of great clips from a specific game played.
Currently you could download then reupload the clip into a collection, but that defeats the purpose somewhat of including the community and is less time efficient (if that is the aim).
Why this feature would be good:
> Burst clips are always known to be enjoyable as content.
Great for reddit, twitter as a form of vine. They are a great way for new viewers to get a “gist” of the channel. For example when I go to a new channel, I will open up their clips and “check them out”.
> Sometimes 10 people clip the same thing 10 times and there is no sorting feature.
Allowing Clip Collections to be made is a form of organisational feature.
> Channels can appear more busy with less work from the Streamer.
Going through clips of the stream is less time consuming than making highlights from VoDs. Though both are great. Ie, uploading a new collection and tweeting it out feels like a new video that day.
> Allowing Clippers to make collections of their favourite streamers can be another organisational tool.
Allowing user’s “Clip Collection 1” to be seen on streamers the Clips page (as similar to current Clips are) s a great way for Clipping to be even more engaging with the Steamer’s community.
Also it also allows streamers to be able to support other people in their network this way. Ie, you may click on the maker of the Collection, someone you may talk to everyday in chat, that you might not have been aware they even stream and you catch them live. Ie, keeping you on twitch for longer.
> This feature is currently utilised on youtube as a “steam highlights”.
Example, https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=steam+highlights videos. This is extremely popular on youtube. Many viewers of channels will start-up fan-made Streamer youtube channels and upload stream highlights for the Streamer, or the streamer will do it themselves. Example, CatDany https://www.youtube.com/user/Dany2001RU. Finding a way to set up “clip channels” on Twitch is a way to aid in stabilizing this market on the main platform.
Ie, a large amount of a Clipper or Youtube highlights video marker’s fame is directly correlated to the Streamer themselves. If the collection of clips made by the highlight maker is able to be found on the streamer’s video.
> A dropdown box within Clips to say “Collections” on both Clipper and Streamers pages.
This is one place to possibly put it. Or a dropdown box on Collections to say “Clips Collections”.
> This can also be a great marketing tool for Streamers.
Example; user likes Dark Souls and watches a lot of DS streams. Makes a collection of clips they have made from a range of Streamers on the subject of Dark Souls (calling it Dark Souls Clips, whatever). If you search for Dark Souls and click this collection, you may find other Dark Souls streamers to watch. Ie, bringing notice to possible small channels whom may be good players/cool personalities, or allow Streamers to find other Streamers to do group ups with for holiday specials or multiplayer games to bring focus to both channels.

I've recently begun taking more clips than usual and will probably continue the trend and am worried that the clips will become too hard to navigate, so I thought it would be a nice feature if we could somehow either categorize using tags or albums.

I really dig the new collections option. Is it possible to add CLIPS as well?
