Hey guys, you can actually sort of set this up the way you’re describing! Head to the Videos tab and choose “Customize Layout”. From here, you can edit the layout to display your Clips (I have my own as the very top shelf on my homepage .). Similarly, you can create a Collection of Highlights to be your top shelf. I will leave this topic open for the general feedback about and the Home display, though.

Why the heck can we not put any type of video into the same playlist/collection? Twitch seems so far behind youtube. I don't even understand why there's 2 different categories for "clips" and "highlights" even though they're basically the same thing. Add to the fact that we only get to show one collections on our profile landing page, why can't I show a mix of all the videos I want in this collection? Currently if I only show clips, it looks like I don't have many videos. If I only show highlights, it looks like I haven't edited any videos in a while. What a pointless limitation. How can this be a suggestion for 8 years and twitch completely ignores this basic functionality of just making a playlist with any of your videos??

Clips can't even be added to a "collection" (playlist). You can add highlights to a collection, but can't add clips. Why has this pointless limitation existed for almost a decade? It's hard to figure out what is even the point of having two different categories for "clips" and "highlights" when they're essentially the same thing. But for some reason they each have pointless limitations. It's funny how the official response even mentions making a collection (of "highlights"), when you can't even do that with clips.
