Do something with clips
Clips are an amazing feature on Twitch and I feel they're (already) somewhat underused. The new layout seems to make this worse, since clips don't even get their own header or section.
Something like a clip reel would make a great showcase for new viewers, plus something existing viewers can be proud of ("hey I clipped that!"). Perhaps it can be added on the home page? Or maybe just the option of merging several clips into one highlight video (per month, or whatever)?

Hey guys, you can actually sort of set this up the way you’re describing! Head to the Videos tab and choose “Customize Layout”. From here, you can edit the layout to display your Clips (I have my own as the very top shelf on my homepage .). Similarly, you can create a Collection of Highlights to be your top shelf. I will leave this topic open for the general feedback about and the Home display, though.

the useability of clips from/on twitch is trash. It's impossible to use them freely and casually. To link to them, and/or share them.

@mouse Have you guys considered letting people sort their clips by a certain amount of days. I try to go through my clips weekly, but sometimes I get busy. It would be beneficial to be able to select dates to start and end the search for clips instead of it jumping from 7 days to 1 month. Just an idea.

We can't even access directly to the clips during a live stream, we have to go back to the home page, then go to video and then to the clip section, that's way to complicated.
As a mod I use clips regularly to upated viewers who just arrived about some events, funny moment, or news with the help of the clips, i just had to click once before... -

I see two good solutions for featuring videos & clips on the channel landing page.
1: Let the streamer pick (by ticking checkboxes, for example) which lists and collections they want to feature videos from. For example, I would tick "Highlights and uploads" and "Clips".
2: As @EagleGarrett said, let the streamer and their editors 'star' videos and clips to feature them on the channel page. This could be accomplished with collections, but would have to be streamlined, e.g. with a special collection and a quicker way to add things to it.
Ideally, I would want to see a good mix of both, but I'll accept either as pretty good.

It's almost impossible to find Clips in the new UI to the point that I thought they were gone. You have to click on the profile picture below the stream (how was I to know it was even clickable?) and then navigate over to videos and then change the filter to clips.
This is a huge regression over the inarguably better former UI which had Clips prominently featured above the stream.
Why was this change made? Is there a reason to add more steps to get to any of the video links? The new UI is just bad.

This is what I was gonna say, I literally can't find clips on a streamer's page right now while they are live. It's kinda annoying

Clips need to have a "showcase" star or something where you can go star your favorite clips from each stream and they will go to a showcase feed on your channels homepage or videos tab.

@mouse I have already done that, but it will only display recent clips. And i dont have recent clips, so that section doesnt show on my video tab. Therefore there is no way for me to reach my clips with the new layout?

I would rather new visitors to my channel be able to browse clips and my chosen playlists of highlights instead of just "Recent Broadcasts." (Similar to how YouTube channels are able to choose which playlists are featured on their main channel page.)

Clips don't even show in the new layout on Video tabs unless they are quite new. How do we find All Clips?

I think Clips can give a better view of someone's channel quickly. Also they are always a popular thing, viewers like to make them to interact and streamers like to promote with them. At the moment, it seems to be a random playlist that's put there on the Home tab. If someone is browsing and comes across you, they may not want to sit there through a VOD or highlight before deciding to come back.
Also, clips have been buried deep amongst the Videos tab and I think a more upfront accessible way to see them would be awesome.
