Change/Add Categories of/to Clips
It would be nice if you could edit or add a Category to existing Clips on Twitch.
Example No. 1: A lot of my clips on my channel had their category removed, after the game category "Deponia: The Complete Journey" got removed from Twitch. If it would be possible to edit categories on clips, these clips wont be categoryless anymore.
Example No. 2: Imagine a VOD, where someone plays two games. Lets call them "GAMEONE" and "GAMETWO" for orientation. If the VOD is live and a clip is created, it get the category of the game which is currently live. But if the VOD isnt live anymore, and a clip gets created, the category will ALWAYS be GAMEONE, regarding if the category has changed when the streamer was live. So there it would also make sense to change the game category on clips as well.

I need this option as well, I have a Fallout 4 clip from 2018 categorized as Oxygen Not Included

Definitely really need this. Switching games mid-stream or otherwise starting with the wrong settings often slaps my clips on the wrong game title.

@talidagam if you are making new clips of a past stream so they are category you want, then you can just change the category of the vod each time before making each clip. dont need to split the vod up in highlights

This would be useful for fixing clips not being in the right category. Currently I have to make a highlight, separate the two games that played and then make a clip where that was in the original. But now that they're two separated highlights the time stamp to find the clip spot is a different timestamp than it was if it was all in the original single VOD.

@Twitch please add this.

@dengelchill And that's assuming that the VOD in question hasn't been auto deleted yet. Those vanish pretty quick. If it's gone then you just can't do anything under the current system.

Please add this!
Now I have to go back into a VOD that featured 2 different games, to change the category and then redo my clip.

That fact that this doesn't exist astounds me. Also, as many have said, every time we change categories it adds a chapter to the VOD, so why can't clips read that information and be labeled appropriately? We still need a way to edit old clips that are miscategorized though.

This severely affects the discoverability and watch time of the clips made due to them being in the wrong game category.
For example, if there is an awesome Animal Crossing clip being saved under the Fortnite category, it wouldn't be discovered almost at all since no one in their right mind would search for a game's clip in a different category.

I really want this feature!

As someone who streams multiple categories per stream and makes clips from the VOD after stream, this feature would help A LOT. I have quite a few clips miscategorized due to them defaulting to the first category of the stream.

Can we please make this happen already?

would like to say I just had the same exact thing happen to me just now. made a clip from a VOD, but because it is from the second game I played during stream, the category is showing a game that's not even the same genre, let alone right game.

Just found a miscategorized clip I have and would like to change it. I can edit the title, but not the game. I'm imagine there are others I haven't noticed yet.

it would be a good thing to be able to change the category of existing clips,
so creators have the ability to correct their mistakes in forgotten category and title changes or wrong allocated clipcategories after they change it midstream -
palmtreetop commented
the inability to do this is a variety streamer's NIGHTMARE.
