Streams used to automatically go live in the player while waiting in the channel. Twitch, you have actively done something to break it.

I was trying to go back in a vod today by tapping the rewind 10s on the left. It kept fast forwarding it instead.

Some streamers I know were reluctant to even enable email verification when it was an ON/OFF option. Despite it being the first thing twitch (any many websites) asked you when you sign up.
With the recent release of phone verification and the options to choose account age exceptions, I've seen better adoption of the tools.
We should have the same granular options for follows.
Example, not allowing a follow unless email or phone is verified, but if phone isn't verified they can follow if the account is so many weeks/months old.
This would help with brand new accounts following just to harass with their names. But allow accounts that have been around longer being more likely to be legit. That isn't always the case, thus the granular option for the streamer. Such as "I only want follows from people that have been active on twitch for a while without violating TOS. Then its ok if they haven't verified phone. But if you're fairly new, gotta verify the number"DraleZero

Seeing new red dots constantly throughout the day on my Acivity bell icon in the app is very annoying. It's just something I have to go check what it is. Oh look it's a shout, not something important like a Whisper.
I am getting shouts from people I never followed or chatted. It says "sent to recent chatters" but I didn't chat. I was probably raided and there is a option to send Shout to raiders, but the shouts I get don't say raiders, said it was sent to chatters.
Does the block button inside a shout just block shouts or block the streamer? I think this is very dangerous and misleading if it actually blocks them. It could be someone you follow and follows you, when all you meant to do was block shouts.
