@talidagam if you are making new clips of a past stream so they are category you want, then you can just change the category of the vod each time before making each clip. dont need to split the vod up in highlights

VOD will be the first Category used when stream went live.
All clips created after stream will be the VOD's Category
As a streamer, a current workaround is to change the Category of the VOD before making a clip. You can even set the Category to one that wasn't used during stream and clip.
I agree that if the streamer is making their own clip, they should be able to set the Category instead of doing the workaround I mentioned.

    acornz,

At the top right of "Clips of my Channel" check the filter is not "Recommended" and is "All"

Clips made on the fly without title, editing, and hitting publish (such as !clip commands, or simply pressing clip, etc) have never shown up for me under the Recommended filter. And its the default filter you'll have to change every time you go to the clips list.

Move Feature Clips on Following mobile screen to the bottom. My priority is to see who is live right now and go watch them. If I scroll through my who is live and not interested in those people right now, then I can keep scrolling down to Featured Clips to see what streamers have been up to.

If the streamer has option to only allow logged in users to watch the stream, then we could further improve that by having the chat moderation settings also apply to being able to watch.

This would put the ability to chat and the ability to watch on the same level of hurdles for the user. This would address the argument of people just making a new account or incognito to watch stream. The new accounts would have the same hurdles the streamer set for chat.

Additionally, when enabling shield mode, you are essentially adjusting your moderation settings and therefore it would also adjust the ability to watch stream the same because those rules are now applying to both chat and video.

So, if you experience a hate raid or other event that requires enabling Shield Mode, you are tightening the ability to watch for all those people coming in. Whether they are already banned or not.

"Only logged in users can watch" can also be added as something you normally have on or is turned on/off with shield mode.

The /ban command allows you to log a reason with the ban. Perhaps it would also be helpful if the ban button prompted for typing in a reason.

There is a new filter on the "Clips of my Channel" view for "Recommended", "Featured", "All". The default is Recommended. After changing it to "All" then can see all the clips you and others have made for your channel. Instead of only in "Clips I've Created"

    I would consider this resolved.

Email and Phone verification is a choice of the streamer.
As for the comments regarding long standing accounts, the streamer also has a choice for this.
So a streamer is currently able to say "Must have phone number to chat, unless the account is 6 months old" for example.
Followage is also an exception streamers can make. So with proper config, streamers can implement email/phone verification for future followers/chatters while not affecting their current followers.

You can be an Editor without being a Mod. So a separate badge would be good. Though I wonder how many people are only Editors compared to being Mod and Editor. I'm sure that sways the priority of implementing this.

For now I've used the artist badge, because editing is also contributing to "their channel’s brand/style." which is the description of the possible uses of the artist badge. Also you can have mod and artist badge at the same time. So I think that's a good solution for now.

This seems to be resolved now. They also fixed markdown and links in descriptions back in October 2022.

I noticed in October 2022 that this has been fixed and I've been using successfully since then.

Twitch VOD descriptions now support a few markdowns.

Line breaks, Links, Bold, and Italic

Other markdown formats (headers, lists) did not work.

This has been implemented for ESRB Mature rating.
    https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/content-classification-labels?language=en_US
"*If you select a game with an ESRB rating of Mature as your stream category, the Mature-Rated Game label will be automatically applied to your stream. Twitch leverages ESRB ratings to determine whether a game is considered mature for global viewers"

    - The buttons (share, title, delete) at right end of title need to be static placement under title or other location
As of now, if a title is long enough the buttons can get pushed off the end of browser window and not be visible.

    - Wrap long titles with browser window size
