I think a really good idea would be to make subscriptions make that specific channel ad-free. It would really cool to add a feature where a viewer can subscribe to a creator and get various benefits with one being an ad-free experience. And make it work properly. Otherwise what is the point of subscribing to our favorite creators?

Do Not Play Ad Break Bumpers Instead of Ads My viewers let me know that my stream was being interrupted by empty ads. It was 4-6 back to back15 sec video bumper that said "the streamer is taking an ad break."
Seems to me that Twitch did not have an ad for me to play at that moment and played that bumper instead, but it would have been infinitely better to not have had the ad break at all if there is no ad to play to begin with. It interrupts the stream and it's annoying to my viewers. Please, fix this.1 vote -
Ad that might be against terms of service I'm concerned that the ad currently being run in new zealand called "belt up: Live on" by Waka kotahi, road to zero , and New Zealand Government might be against terms of service. It's content might be considered obscene and objectionable.
It involves male only participants talking about their car accidents they were in while having make up added to make it look like they have road scars. I'm worried that this ad is against terms of service and may cause ptsd and harm to those who have been in car accidents in the past. Can we please have twitch…1 vote -

Blocking new streamers We understand that ads exist to compel people to subscribe. It prevents people from giving new publishers a chance. For new publishers, I recommend removing the ads. Otherwise, new publishers will have no chance.

ads Same Ads will run twice or more on Xbox twitch app and twitch mobile for iphone. and there seems to be no fix to this unless i completely close the app and reopen the app completely and sometimes re entering a stream after closing while restart the process from the start. This must be a bug that needs to be fixed soon, its really lame to be watching a competetive event and getting a roll of 6 ads that wont ever stop running

Blocking Streams with Ads Means Twitch will NEVER be Profitable Twitch will never be profitable with broadcast-blocking advertisements. You block the LIVE VIDEO MID BROADCAST!
What you accomplish with this is frustrating the users or deterring them from testing the service or new streamers.
You then ask for subs or turbo to stop the interuptions or encourage people to use third-party software to just be able to enjoy the main use of your service without missing LIVE VIDEO DURING THE LIVE BROADCAST defeating the entire purpose of the service/Twitch, the ads or the potential revenue.
This is further exasperated by increasing the number of mid-roll ads based on chat activity…

Ads on past broadcasts DO NOT MAKE PEOPLE WATCH ADS ON STREAMS! THAT HAVE ALREADY FINISHED!!! I don't appreciate still getting ads on past broadcasts!

Ads for Roles: Make it so Broadcasters can give Ads to certain roles and or Vice Versa. Like I can make it so Followers, Viewers and Regulars can get ads BUT I can set it as VIP, Mods and the Broadcaster of their own Stream wont get ads.

twitch seeks out brand deals for creators instead of running a bajillion ads why doesn't twitch implement some kinda program where twitch seeks out brand deals for streamers (creator decides what deals they want to do and can say no to a deal) and takes a cut from that instead of running the invasive ads. higher payout that way. obviously people gonna take those for big payouts too even though they could just go through their own manager for those. just a free deal on behalf of the platform. everyone is happy and gets paid.

You can "improve the ad experience" by removing them. Remove them. At the very minimum, make them controlled by the content creator and NOT YOU! Leaving this platform until this is fixed. Sad.

Wait 1 minute before putting an ad when opening a stream Usually, I open like 4 or 5 stream when I open twitch, to see what's going, and from there I choose which one I'm gonna watch, but now, you get insta ad when you open and cannot skip it. wait like 1 or 2 minute before putting an ad would be a good idea.
