add Why we having bot or command advertising by the streamer when the audience knows very well the purpose of the add. I believe if there was a ''Watch an add to support creator' button I would click it even just to redeem the chat points to highlight my message or redeem emojis or sound allert... i think it's functional

No PreRoll if channel hopping/seen an ad in the last 30 mins by user If I'm channel hopping I should be able to not get an ad if I saw a preroll in the last 30 minutes ago.
This'll also improve discoverability, as it'll be "nicer" for viewers trying to find something to watch.
PreRolls are too annoying to users trying to channel hop to find something/someone (new) to watch.

Let streamer-played ads stop the rest of the ads from playing for longer There needs to be a way to stop ads playing for at least 1-2 hours. Taking a break every 30 minutes for a few minutes is just unrealistic and doesn't fit most content on Twitch. Longer ad break, every 2 hours or so would be much more agreeable I believe, especially when it comes with giving MORE agency to streamers. They know their community and their content the best

Save Stream in buffer to continue watching When a user gets a mid-role add save the stream in a buffer and when the ad is finished continue where u where watching.
Also add a button to jump to current since twitch does not have a timestamp slider or speed up the stream.
This fixes the problem of users missing out content and gives them the option to which part of the stream they miss or view sped up.
Twitch happy because everyone watches adds. Users happy they don't miss content.4 votes -
Opt in for ads for subscribers. I heard this talked about in a recent town hall but would like to know if you are actually going to do it. My subscribers like the idea of being able to opt in to watch ads if turning off ads is a perk for subs.

A way to track how much ad a sub(either from a broadcaster or turbo or prime) has avoided an ad Users sometimes dont know how much of an impact a sub does to themself especially how much annoying ad has been blocked. This will provide an insight or eagerness for a user to sub or turbo.

Ads to Support Streamer I love supporting Twitch streamers but I do not have money. Therefore I would love a possibility where I can support the streamer by watching ads that I myself click on a button to watch. You could make a system so the streamer gets notified when someone has watched 20 ads, 50 ads, 100 ads etc. And maybe also write how much money example 100 ads are worth.

Ad Redesign If you guys are going to completely FORCE ads down our throats, you need to do one of three things:
1) By far the easiest solution - Make Ads Skippable after X seconds.
2) Make ads something that pops up as a Picture in Picture in the corner or something when a stream is running. I honestly like this one the best because I honestly wouldn't have an issue checking out whatever is being advertisted as well as (and I cant stress this enough) NOT MISSING STREAM CONTENT because someone wants to run 7-10 15-30 second ads in a row.…3 votes -
Adblockers I use an adblocker not because I don't want to see ads. I use an adblocker because I don't want to support your scummy platform. I'm not disabling it no matter how much you block streams and everyone I know that uses Twitch feels the same way. You can completely block streams if you want, I just won't use your platform at all. It's up to you, stop being such scumbags with how you manage your platform and you wouldn't have as many people using adblockers. You will lose at least half of your viewers as soon as viable competitor…

Schedule Ads during reruns As a streamer, I've started running reruns during times when I know I won't be streaming but there are possible viewers watching. I was thinking you should develop a way to schedule ad breaks during reruns, that way, we can control the ad experience a little better even during our off times.

Ad immunity with Ad gamification User controlled ad experience:
-Users run their own ads to build up an "ad immunity" duration for their current account.
-This ad immunity duration will allow the user to view streams without encountering preroll/midroll/other ads for this period.
-Longer the ads watched the longer the ad free duration.
-Can have an upper limit of ad free viewing time, requiring additional ad viewing to top off the duration.
-Users can choose who gets the ad revenue share, depending on where they trigger the ads to view. Either with a channel they want to support, or give the share to Twitch. Use…2 votes -
Ad Credit System Instead of having only pre-rolls and mid-rolls, I suggest including an ad credit system. Whenever people watch ads, they'll earn credits (similar to how bits used to work) and will be able to spend these credits to "skip" ads on channels they watch. This can be done in a few ways. I suggest having an ad stream where people can accumulate credits or some type of ad viewer of equivalence. This way, people would be able to accumulate as many credits as they want, to afford the price of a skip button on ads. This has absolutely no down side…

Allow content creators to pay to remove ads from their channel Ads are presented as "supporting content creators" but there are a large number of people on Twitch who are streaming as a hobby or otherwise would prefer to pay so that their viewers can get a better experience, and for some of them the amount may be larger than the amount of revenue that the ads themselves would have brought in.

short regular ads If you could get an extension for games with lobbies that would roll a 10-15 second ad in between the games (lobby) rather than playing the regular one over the stream. Obviously, the Affiliate or Partner would have to download the ones for the games they play, if they play without the extension, or don't have it when they play the regular ad rules would apply.

Short multiplayer game ADs where chat vs' each other I see multiplayer ads which are polls, twitch could take it to the next level and have multiplayer ads where chat plays each other in a minigame for 30s or 1m, like a very quick battle royale

Dedicated Plug-in / Ad section I feel that a few of features that are new, or in testing, on Twitch had a dedicated place on the page to run instead obstructing streams , or flashing up in chat.
Having a small area (maybe the top 1/4 of the chat area on desktop) to host these features wouldn't be that intrusive, and could be used as a place to display small ads for non-subs, and maybe the area could be used for the streamer to host custom apps (like overlays) for subscribers.
I'm a huge fan of consistency, so having an area like that to test…

VIEWERS need to still be able to interact with the STREAMER during the ad process, and the STREAMER needs to control how that looks. If interaction breaks, momentum dies. There are dozens of ways to keep the momentum flowing while an ad is playing-- just look at all of the YouTubers who get sponsored and do skits/product placement during their videos.
Example: If the streamer has the ability to temporarily defer ads and play them back to back, ("collecting" an ad every 15 mins or so, to play 6 at the end of 1.5 hours,) this gives the streamer more control on when their intended content is interrupted-- or, even better, an option to play the ads FIRST in order to unlock SUBSTANTIAL ad-free…
