Why does Mods get ads? Moderators should not get ads! We need to hear and see everything, also many mods don’t have the money to subscribe and avoid ads.
When I need to get to stream quickly and there is an pre-roll ad, I cannot do what I’m suppose to do.

a button to watch ad whenever I want If I can choose to watch ads between my streamer's matches, I'd watch way more add than I do currently (add captcha to avoid bots) and not miss any of the action.
Also, if I watch more than X ads per hour, I get to watch them without audio and with streamer audio, so I still have a small streamer window with its audio. Twitch'd make more money and viewers wouldn't be angry whenever something worth watching is happening and the ads ruin their experience.2 votes -
Allow viewer to be subscribed after watching enough ads. I think that would be a good idea to reward a viewer after watching enough ads.
I often leave a stream because there are too much ads and it's frustrating. So we could give for each viewer a "contribution wallet" that fills while watching ads, then after we reach a certain amount, we can sub on that specific channel using the time spent watching ads.
No need to see a value like money/time generated, it could be a progress bar with a % and when we reach 100% we can "sub for free".
For example, let's say I am watching…

Disable ads for all moderators This is a huge issue. Ads severely limit how effective we can do our jobs as mods because we can’t hear or see the streamer in a lot of cases so we lack the ability to communicate, especially when it’s a large group of ads. So Twitch, please disable ads for channel mods.

I think a really good idea would be to make subscriptions make that specific channel ad-free. It would really cool to add a feature where a viewer can subscribe to a creator and get various benefits with one being an ad-free experience. And make it work properly. Otherwise what is the point of subscribing to our favorite creators?

monetize clips / VODs / Highlights with banner ads I found myself watching vods of one of my favorite streamers, but I left to watch it on youtube so that he could get ad revenue. There should be a way to monetize pre recorded content too with banner ads and possibly gifting bits and subs directly to a clip/ moment/ vod/ etc.

Automatically add a tag for streams with prerolls disabled Having an automatically added tag for any stream with pre-rolls currently disabled (through automatic ads or with the new automatic ads) would help drive discoverability towards those using this feature.
I feel it would also encourage more streamers to use the ads appropriately during low activity moments or when they take a break from the stream, thus also increasing revenue.
By having it as a tag that will be automatically added (and removed) it's easy to filter for streams that have the tag within a category. From conversations with my viewers, they would definitely be more willing to check out…

Ads for Roles: Make it so Broadcasters can give Ads to certain roles and or Vice Versa. Like I can make it so Followers, Viewers and Regulars can get ads BUT I can set it as VIP, Mods and the Broadcaster of their own Stream wont get ads.

Allow users to indicate they do not like an advertisement I'm generally happy to tolerate ads to support the stream and platform, but sometimes ads come up that I never want to see again. Other advertising platforms provide a way for users to indicate that they do not like a particular ad, which prevents it from coming back up. I think this would provide value to advertisers, since it avoids repeatedly showing ads to unreceptive users; streamer s, since undesirable ads are less likely to drive users away from streams; and viewers who will on average see fewer irritating advertisements.

twitch seeks out brand deals for creators instead of running a bajillion ads why doesn't twitch implement some kinda program where twitch seeks out brand deals for streamers (creator decides what deals they want to do and can say no to a deal) and takes a cut from that instead of running the invasive ads. higher payout that way. obviously people gonna take those for big payouts too even though they could just go through their own manager for those. just a free deal on behalf of the platform. everyone is happy and gets paid.

Viewer incentive for watching ads This is only directed at viewers on desktop, I would assume.
Nevertheless, why not create some type of incentive for viewers to not use adblock or some other source? Main ideas that come to mind are either a small bits reward system like you had with "watching ads for bits" with somewhere along the lines of a monthly deposit. The only other thing I could think of to back this is some type of reduction in sub cost, even if this is minimal (I'd hope .50-$1 but that might be high hopes).
I can't always sub, but I do keep…

Ads on Main Player, Stream in Secondary (Watch Party's Player) Use the Watch Party secondary player, to maintain a Stream while using the Main player to play Ads, while reducing main stream's audio.
Common complaint for people is that Random ads can pop up and ruin the experience or have them miss out on something at the worst time such as a moment or a train or conversation.
But if it's moved to the Top Right secondary player people can still not miss out on the stream while an Ad plays and the reduced Main Stream Audio would not anger advertisers as their video ad is still brought into Focus,…1 vote -
Since many distributors have sponsors, I think we should run ads from sponsors that the distributor has a contract with, not ads that Twitch Since many distributors have sponsors, I think we should run ads from sponsors that the distributor has a contract with, not ads that Twitch has a contract with.

Change how ads are delivered completely. Here's a few ideas:
• Banner Ads - Delivered SPECIALLY on Live content and VOD. Shows a banner when the viewer joins and every 30 minutes up to 8 times.
• Video Ads - Delivered ONLY in VODs, and only before playing out the VOD.
• Intermission Ads - Delivered manually by the streamer by using a custom command, the ad takes over the player and puts the stream on a corner of the player (a little less of 1/4 of the player itself), playing non-repeated ads until the ad limit is reached, 10 minutes passes, or the streamer enters…1 vote -

Enable / Disable ads for each stream Twitch always worked on the volontary participation of viewers to support streamers. Nowdays streamers are blackmailing viewers by the new trend which is "without ads i'll be not here streaming, so if you do not want ads: subscribe."
I think to keep the spirit of Twitch, which is encouraging viewers to volontary supporte streamers and not forcing them, we should be able to turn ON or OFF the advertisings aggression for each stream. This way, each viewers can decide to support or not a stream.
Imo, ads are the worst things you can experience on a plateform. Who like watching…

Ads at start of a raid is ridiculous and outright destroying first impressions Please fix where ads play when you raid somebody right at the start it’s honestly pretty disrespectful from twitch to allow this to happen and destroy first impressions

I would like the distributor to notify me that an ad is playing. I would like the distributor to notify me that an ad is playing.
Sometimes I am talking to someone who is not subscribed, but the conversation is interrupted by an advertisement and I cannot get through.
