Swap names with other account you own Some people may have old accounts that they had forgotten about. In my case. I have one without the numbers at the end of the name. I recently was able to log into it and would like to have the ability to swap the name with my current account.

Display exact length of cooldown [Name Change] Display the exact amount of days left until one is able to change their Username in the Profile Settings.
Currently it just displays the amount roughly rounded up and inaccurate, e.g "You may update your username again in 1 month"

Change Ticket Product when changing username Currently when you change your username, your ticket product (the name that appears on subscription receipts) stays as your old username. Please make it match your current username so people don't refund subs thinking they are subscribed to someone else.

Add an option to disable Login Verification Code on "new" computers I use privacy mode in my browser, meaning it erases all temp data between sessions like cookies etc. Witch means that I need to verify that I am who I am every single time that I try to log in.
It's hella inconvenient as you can imagine. I'm not planning to add any personal data so even if my account is hacked I wouldn't care at all.
If you worried that somebody uses this option without realizing the implications just add a very clear disclaimer and/or limit some twitch functionality if an option is enabled.

remove 30-day re-auths Requiring users to enter some code via sms every 30-days is just stupidity disguised as security theatre. These codes do nothing to further protect our data at-rest, nor do they validate identity. It's just another unnecessary hoop to jump through. If it wasn't a meaningless, pointless, futile exercise, you wouldn't have added a 30-day option to not-validate - you'd be validating with every new browser instance. We don't need another TSA in our lives.

I can't verify my account with my phone number Hello,
I would like to ask Twitch Support or whoever works here to look at their verification system because it just doesn't work. Two days ago I got a "A verified phone number is required to chat in this channel", at first I thought it was for the channel only but then I went to like 30 different streamers and its definitely site wide. Give an option to show previous username when you change it! I have wanted to change my twitch username multiple times, but I have decided against it because I do not want to have to go through the process of reintroducing myself to everyone that I have met previously in chats and talk them through me changing username. I am a moderator in multiple channels, and it would create a cluster if I completely changed my username. Confirmation before username change When you go to change your username, there is no confirmation to make sure the change was intentional. It should ask for a confirmation if you are making a 2-6 month commitment. It should just ask "You are about to change your username, is this correct?" As it is now, you can be trying out different things and if you accidentally hit enter, then you have to live without a username of your choosing for 2-6 months. 2-Factor Authentication system Me and like many other people have been on this site for years building our stream and community’s. They one day we get to become affiliates, so we set up our 2-Factor Authentication but then we get locked out of our account and r unable to return because a bug doesn’t send sms code to our phones so we can log in the Authy never works so, the idea is to fix this so we won’t have to start new accounts.

The ability to 'Favorite' emotes to the top of the list. Being able to click on various emotes and "favorite" them at the top of the list. Scrolling thru all the channels and Twitch Emotes is a pain just to find the one you want. If they are to channels where a sub has run out, they can be grayed out, which might encourage folks to resub 🙂

Do not go through with implimenting "Facial age estimation technology" According to a post by Zach Bussey, Twitch is planning on implementing "facial age estimation technology" to ensure that the account's user is of the age they claim to be. There are many reasons to go against this, like security of the pictures or videos used, preventing false claims like people claiming to be a famous celebrity to evade age regulations, amongst others, but for me personally it's the limitations of these algorithmic based systems on people like me who look much younger than my written age. Put go live notifications in "My Notifications" Currently if you have smart notifications on, you'll get a go live notification on Twitch for a few seconds and then it disappears. While on mobile, your notifications stay until viewed due to how phones work.
I would like all go live notifications to go into "My Notifications" so you can actually see who recently went live from anywhere on the website.
