Make a name unavailable if it's waiting to recycle If a name is awaiting recycling don't show it as available when you add a new one. I have had this frustration for a while because I originally didn't understand when I would get "available" but it was just an error when trying to set the change of username to specific ones with no other explanation.

Add Parental Controls and Supervized Accounts for accounts under 18 Hello! I welcome the new Twitch guidelines and support people doing their own content, as long as it's labelled properly.
Having said that, where I can see Twitch improve upon in terms of safety is something that Sony did a long time ago for PSN accounts: If you're under 18, your Twitch account has to be a mandatory supervised account by another Twitch account that's over 18. That way, anything M-rated and labelled with suggestive/sexual content could be forcefully filtered out for those supervised accounts and when the user turns 18, they get an option to remove said restrictions. It's…

Allow Affiliate Onboarding to Accept Paypal instead of giving out your SSN Allowing users to complete the Affiliate Application by using their Paypal or another method that doesn't include sharing their SSN would be a major step privacy wise.
If someone's SSN gets stolen, it can ruin them financially for years to come or even for life. This is why we are told never to share that number. Having a work around where we can file the taxes ourselves without having to give out our SSN to Twitch or Amazon would be beneficial to all involved and would help reduce the chances of people getting their SSN stolen.

Username Minimum Length Change I would like to suggest changing the username length policy to allow usernames that are 3 or more characters long instead of having a 4-character minimum. This already exists for some channels, like AOC, but it would be great if it became something that other people could do, too.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and have a great day!

Set email or push notifications when a channel goes live in a specific category, or with specific tags. As a viewer, I would like to be able to receive a push notification when any streamer goes live in a certain category, or with certain tags, or both! I love finding new streamers to watch, and this would help me discover more of them.
Oftentimes, there are less popular games or categories which will have low numbers of viewers, who are very dedicated to that category. If I'm a viewer who loves an older game, I would have no idea that someone new has decided to try that game unless I already followed them (or happened to be browsing…

Issue with stream team owners and temporary suspension/ban If someone owns a stream team and gets a temporary suspension or banned (which could happen with mass reporting, but that's a whole other issue) they get removed from their own stream team.
The two biggest issues here are that people don't get their teams back, and that twitch doesn't know about this issue so they don't know how to help anyone with this issue.
Give the original owners their teams after coming back and tell people how to fix the issue if they need help. The way you fix this very niche issue is just go to the settings…

Add edit features for category, game, hashtags, and other features on PS5 and all other consoles to help content creation Hello, please add the ability to edit not just the description on PS5 or consoles but also add and able to edit the game, category, and add hashtags before broadcasting on consoles. These features are already available on PC and mobile. Only makes sense to be able to have them on console for those who don’t have the availability of editing on pc or phone. This will ensure the content gets to the correct audience for followers which will increase their brand. Call of duty has this issue when broadcasting it doesn’t automate to recognize warzone so while someone is…

accounts Proposal to Delete Inactive Twitch Accounts
Twitch is one of the most popular streaming platforms for video games and other content. The platform offers a wide variety of channels and streams that are visited by millions of viewers around the world.
A current issue with Twitch is the number of inactive accounts. According to estimates, up to 30% of all Twitch accounts are inactive, meaning they have not been used in over 3 years. These accounts can distort viewership numbers on Twitch and lead to misconceptions about the popularity of channels.
Proposal
Twitch should delete inactive accounts that have not…

Past usernames should not be held for 6 months 2 months ago, I changed all of my usernames for privacy reasons. Now, I’ve changed every username back with the exception of twitch. Twitch is apparently only allowing you to change to new usernames, and if you want your old one back, you have to wait for SIX MONTHS. This is absolutely insane. This is completely awful for my branding, and I’m sure is for others. Having a unified brand everywhere is so important for establishing an online identity, and requiring half of a year if you want a previous username back is an absolutely ludicrous policy, especially when this…

Please release the Twitch permanent suspension of streamer 민식박. Please release the Twitch permanent suspension of streamer 민식박. he will have to transfer to Chzzk, but it's permanently suspended due to verbal violence, so I can't transfer.
Only those who have been permanently suspended due to water levels over the age of 19 have been lifted.
However, Minsik Park has been permanently suspended for verbal abuse
The 민식박 raised objections three times using South Korea's objection portal, but all were rejected.
Please lift the permanent suspension of the 민식박.3 votes -

Allow underscores in passwords The password system in twitch has me put beyond disbelief. I have truly never experienced a more horrific security protocol; it is almost comparable to the password game, which was created as a joke. I would like to suggest some changes.
- scrap the existing system, unfixable.
- make a three character minimum; this is all that is necessary for actual security increase. People who take their privacy seriously will act accordingly.
- Allow special characters. It is genuinely baffling that as a company you made the conscious decision to decrease the amount of usable characters in a password.
- Get rid of whatever…
