I can no longer browse available streams without having something autoplay, and seeing my live followed channels is a pain **********. New View Update is BAD This new update is bad. I feel like I am using the TickToc app, not the Twitch app. Please allow us to go back to the old view.
Seeing random streamers play games that I have no interest in, mixed in with streamers I want to watch is not enjoyable. I feel like I'm gambling with this new view. Am I going to get a person I want to watch or not? (Most of the time, NOT)

Bring back old twitch mobile The old twitch mobile app was good and they had no reason to change it, it now looks like a hybrid of Instagram reels, tik tok, YouTube shorts. Also, no one wants to have a random stream open every time you open the app

Revert UI back to what it was before version 20.5.3 Before the version 20.5.3 update on mobile all the channels you followed and were live at the time would be presented in a neat, single column going from highest to lowest view counter.
After updating to this version, you have to click on the small “following” button in the upper left corner to pull up the channels you follow, and they aren’t even listen in either alphabetical or viewer number order.
There was absolutely no reason to switch to such a user interface , nobody needs to see which random streamers they do not follow are live as the first…

Host Button on Desktop We would like someway to easily host a streamer's stream on the Twitch website for the desktop.
Right now, in order to host a channel, users must go into their own chat and type in "/host [streamer username]", which requires them to leave the stream they're in. My idea is to have the button similar to the Mobile Twitch App, where it's integrated in the 'Share' function that automatically hosts the channel. Having a dedicated 'Host' button appear next to the 'Subscribe' button will also be preferred!

We don't need a major UI update nobody was asking for I get it, you want to appeal to the younger audience in a very inefficient way - by getting rid of older users. I'm using twitch (web and mobile app) for a few years. Everything I was liking about mobile app is its simplicity. Not the loud autostart at midnight of a random stream I'm following. Not the endless line of random streams. Not the removing the home screen at all as an option.

Support closed captions on Android/Chromecast I have just discovered that for streams containing embedded closed captions (NOT via a Twitch extension), there is no way to display the closed captions when playing the stream on Android or when casting to a Chromecast.
I think it's great that Twitch has added captions support in the first place, but all of it is for nothing if someone who relies on captions is watching on the app or Chromecast.

Request for Dark Mode Twitch Icon Support in iOS 18 Hey everyone,
I’ve noticed that the Twitch app still doesn’t support dark mode icons on iOS 18. It’s been a while since iOS 18 was released, and many other apps have already updated to include this feature. As someone who uses dark mode almost exclusively, it would be great to see Twitch integrate this for a better user experience.
Has anyone else noticed this, or heard any news on whether Twitch plans to update the app for this?

REVERT THE MOBILE APP, LISTEN TO YOUR USER BASE. The new twitch mobile update could possible go down as one of the most confusing and horrible changes ever, and the fact it made it through testing and is now being pushed shows how little twitch actually cares about its user base. Revert Swipe UI Please revert this terrible Home Screen experience. It’s very clear based on all the feedback on how bad the TikTok swipe experience is that you should have already reverted it by now.
I even uninstalled the app for a while because of it and just reinstalled after a couple weeks to see if you reverted. When I loaded up the old UI was back and I was so excited. When I closed the app and restarted it the terrible TikTok **** II was back?!?!. Why would this be showing up again when the better ui first popped up???

The App View Update Was Un-Needed and Un-Wanted The update to the mobile app was unnecessary. It has made seeing your followed streamers hard to find at a glance. Scrolling up and seeing random streamers that might be doing things you are not interested in is not my idea of a fun time.

Roll back latest update how this got past any testing i will never understand. users who are using twitch or youtube likely PREFER their layouts and content over something like tiktok. these are separate communities that mostly hate eachother, and do not want to see the platform that they use become similar to the platform they chose NOT to use. the new system is unintuitive and unresponsive, similar to the update that placed an extra overlay in between the toggles for "chat on the side" and "no chat." if I wanted to see chat over my stream I would be using youtube.
