Multiple Camera Support The iPhone 11 is capable of using multiple cameras at once. It'd be great if Twitch provided a way streamers can stream using the front and back camera at the same time. It'd be especially helpful for Just Chatting streams so viewers can see the streamer and what they're seeing.

Clear Viewing History in App Introduce the ability to clear viewing history in app.
Twitch, as of writing is roughly 110 MB in size.
The app data (for me) is 450 MB and steadily growing.Youtube, in comparison is 140 MB.
The data use is only 40 MB.What is the difference? Why must the Twitch app be so storage hungry?

PIP on iPad pauses after switching to another app For some reason picture-in-picture stream pauses after pressing home or switching to another app. I don’t think this is intended behaviour, because in other apps video in pip doesn’t pause after switching. It’s not that big of a deal, but it gets annoying really quickly.

Add ability to clear notification like hype train On the web browser you can clear notifications at the top of the chat (such as a hype train) by clicking the 3 buttons. On mobile, there is no option to clear notifications. And it is a huge pain because when a notification such as a hype train shows up in the chat, it makes the chat bigger (half the screen) for the entire duration. So every time a hype train starts (which happens a lot in bigger channels), chat takes up half the screen and you are forced to watch without chat if you want to be able to…

Display which sections of a vod are muted. Currently, there is no way to determine which parts of a vod are muted while looking at it on a mobile app.
The desktop site already has this feature, and it can help determine whether a vod is worth watching or if it is all muted.
Plus it would make it easier to know where to start and where to skip to next if you are watching a muted vod.16 votes -
New update brings more bugs The latest update on the iPhone has left the app unusable. Slow stream and bad quality. Can’t access chat function after watching in landscape mode. Can’t switch streams without closing out of the app completely.

Mobile chat position On mobile there should be an option to change chat position from the right side being default to the left side while in landscape mode. This would be ideal for streams that have webcams on the right side of the stream for a better watching experience.

Stories Please please please, have an option to mute some of the stories.
I keep unfollowing channels because of these cringey stories that the streamers post and that I do not wish to see, NOT EVEN in thumbnail mode.
Either think about a hide option or move the stories from the top of the feed - I am using twitch mostly on mobile and this is very annoying.

Stories / featured clips Please give the viewers the option to turn off stories & featured clips , or allow us to choose where they show up. It is incredibly frustrating to have to scroll down the screen while everything loads just to get to the past broadcast or whatever it is I’m looking for below these two new features. Some of us just want a minimal as possible experience on the mobile app (where I primarily watch twitch) and this really hinders that experience.

Allow Picture-in-Picture with low latency mode Up until recently there was a bug on mobile (iOS), which allowed Picture-in-Picture playback while having low latency mode enabled and it worked flawlessly for me. Unfortunately that was "fixed" in a recent update.
Could you please bring it back? It would be nice to use Picture-in-Picture without huge stream delays. Especially since it works without problems.

A streamer I watch frequently recently got the best opportunity to get a better handle on his stream and emotes.But the frequently used emotes hasn't updated the prefix.

Don't overlay chat over video on landscape When using wide aspect phones in landscape, if you open the chat it overlays the video while there's still space to the left. A better solution is to move the video left while leaving the chat on the right, using the whole screen space. (Similar to what Google meet does when opening the chat)

Bug related to story update I encounter the following bug on the Android Twitch app since the recent update with the stories:
The channel with the most viewers of the ones I follow does not show up anymore when launching the app. When I reload my follow list a couple of times it shows up eventually but also randomly disappears again.
This is very annoying, especially for streamers with a lot of viewers since people can not see that it's live.

Give option to disable chat overlay An option to disable the chat overlay on mobile is necessary. While some might like the ability to overlay chat on mobile, not giving an option to disable it is lazy at best and experience ruining at worst. For those that like it the options to move it where desired is great, but not giving any option to disable it leaves everyone else stuck with a feature we didn’t want or ask for.
