Bug - iPhone 18 pro max - freezes when it goes into landscape mode Hey, just wanted to post a bug and a user-end fix, if anyone is running into the same issue.
My twitch app would always freeze when going from portrait to landscape mode. (iPhone 18 pro max) Immediate fix was to clear the app as an active app (swipe-hold from the bottom, and swipe away twitch) and relaunch in portrait mode.
Long term fix on the user end was to reset the display and text size settings, which I had enabled (1) “Bold Text” and (2) “Larger Text” slider 1 notch to the right.

Transfer IOS accessibility settings into the app Every time I log into one of my streamers chats my screen gets stuck. This is because the twitch app is no longer compatible with accessibility settings on IOS. There is a notification that I can not see unless I completely turn off all of my zoom setting on my IOS device which then causes me to not be able to read any of the chat because all of my zoom settings are not compatible with the twitch app. I would like to suggest you fix that in app and allow accessibility settings to work in app to where my…

Bugged video viewing On iOS for some reason believably I am only experiencing this but it seems that when I try to flip my phone to have a wider screen to watch a streamer it seems to be broken and crashes as well as pause the video and not the audio. It always blocks a certain half of the video and stops video but never the audio. Then later on crashes when exiting out of the app while watching live stream.

Make ads less spammy To give a specific example: Prize Pics is ALL OVER THE PLATFORM. I don’t even gamble, but the fact that these ads are way more disproportionate to any other ads on the platform make them suffocating and annoying. If anything, it makes hate the thing being advertised MORE!

Update broke iOS chat box Bug report: since the last update the chat box freezes when typing, skipping characters or pushing the cursor back one character. Autocorrect doesn’t catch it, and it either ends up pushing the skipped character to the end of the message or leaving it at the end of a word randomly. Sometimes autocomplete will trigger and put a word inside a word you are typing. iOS app is unusable.
Update: somehow the keyboard is getting worse in real time

Ui freezes when I tap a stream App opens fine but if I tap a stream to watch the UI freezes. The audio plays fine. No amount of restarts has helped.

Add the ability to customize which global badges appear on my account When I inspect a username on pc, it shows any global badges they have. For people with large collections (myself included) it takes up too much screen space. There should be a way for the user to select just a few featured badges, or to collapse the badge collection, or both.

New iOS update freezes the app After downloading your new iOS update for your app, whenever I try joining any streams the app freezes. The streams never load correctly, seemingly stuck in-between the chat rooms and the livestream videos. I have to completely close out my app by that point, yet the audio plays just fine and even about 5-10 seconds after I’ve closed the app.
I’ve tried their troubleshooting steps, but have gotten nowhere fast. I highly doubt posting about this in here will yield anything useful though.

stop force loading ads that aren't there whenever i enter a stream the whole screen is just black with the ad bars running with no visual nor audio and just cuts into the stream. you clearly are trying to force ads that you make it lag and force ads that aren't even there. like when the streamer has time schedule for ad breaks so new viewers enter are immediately hit sith a full minute ad. which breaks interests and not worth it for new viewers to waste there time just to seee if the streamer is worth following after watch a long *** ad to even find…

Bring back direct clip-sharing to stories Bring back direct clip-sharing to stories. I'm shocked Twitch decided to remove a feature that actually gave their streamers better visibility to their audience. Recaps aren't very user friendly and you aren't able to share them past the day you streamed, which is extremely inconvenient for already busy streamers. Some people may even prefer to share clips at the end of weekly streams, rather than immediately after the stream.

chat replies Bring back being able to view a chat someone is replying to. Before the update, if someone replied to a comment in the chat I was able to press down on it and view the full chat. Now , unless the chat is short enough, you cant do that. The chats often move too fast to go back and see what the person being replied to was saying and its been irritating me.
