Channel surfing 🏄 People who regularly use this mobile app often already have their favourite streamers who are on at (mostly) scheduled times. Forcing users to swipe through channels as soon as they open the app doesn’t make sense:
Bring back the original layout of for followed channels front and centre & make this new scrollable feed that was recently added its own thing.

Be able to change your display name You should be able to change your display name at least every month or year because. Some people make their account at the age of 13 but don’t want to make a whole new account due to have subs or channel points in peoples chat.

Permissions Hierarchy Verified chatter restrictions take precedence over VIP and moderator rules. This should not be the case. Anyone who has been made a VIP or moderator should be considered a trusted member of a community that bypasses these restrictions.

Following bugs Twitch made me delete my original twitch account that I had since I was 15 because of 1 stupid bug . I couldn't follow videos games anymore an unable to follow games but oddly I was only allowed to follow and unfollow users.?
I'm heartbroken because of losing everything I follow over 1 stupid bug that twitch was never going to fix on mobile and console hope one day the bug getting fixed

Put “Following” Channels up front Bring back followed channels on my front page in the app, not some random live channels. It’s also helpful to know/see followed channels’ vod list. There is no indicator anymore of who has new videos. Also, where did the “continue watching” go?

Ads need to stop buffering Fix the ads. Every time someone goes to ads my screen just buffers and goes to a random number, i.e., 5 of 10 ads. Then the screen buffers for another few minutes before I can watch the streamer again.

Following and unfollowing is broken Really deep hope
Twitch get a massive update to fix everything at some point.
1. Unfollow and follow games not working.
2. When u tap to follow a game it would freeze.
3. You can't type games into search bar bug
4. You can only unfollow and follow users.
5. You make a new account the bugs get worse and make twitch unusable.

Suggestions to improve Twitch mobile/home feed From reading here, the new Home feed view certainly has evoked some negative feelings. I don't dislike the change, although there are certainly some things that don't work well about it and I wanted to offer some constructive suggestions:
The home feed should start muted, and provide the option to turn sound on. It is annoying when watching another stream, and dragging to PiP starts playing the stream from the home feed instead
Rather than hitting the heart button to see the list of followed channels, I suggest that swiping left to right bring the flyout in. I also suggest…

Stream freezes After the last update, the application began to freeze after 10-15 seconds when watching a stream via AirPlay at 1080p. Reducing image quality helps.

BUG: Feed/Discover Videos Do Not stream at Config Quality Feed and Discover videos should stream using your the quality selected in your Configs. Currently they attempt to stream at full quality and the buffering and stuttering on slower connections is terrible.

Subtitles I enjoy that there is an audio only or video only option but what about including automated subtitles to go over the video, I enjoy watching the video but sometimes have to have my volume low so I miss out on some stuff being said and feel like subtitles would be a fun addition

Sidebar for following Channels UI Add a sidebar for all the channels you are following instead of having to scroll all the way down to see your following channels. This would also unify the mobile app to be more like the desktop website
