Combine categories for games with many versions. I would like to see categories which are similar enough to each other get combined. It would make browsing for streams much easier, and help find exactly what i'm looking for.
There are currently several categories for games like Zelda Wind Waker (the original and the HD remake), so any viewer who wants to find some wind waker streams needs to check all of the categories to see all of the streams, but it is basically the same game. This is the case for many other situations, too, such as how the retro tag and the retro category are seperate,…6 votes -
Filter to not show certain games when browsing For people who love games, especially multiplayer games such as PUBG, CSGO, World of Warcraft, etc. It's very easy to find new channels on the Browse page.
However, for people who really dislike these types of games, and prefer to watch streams for their (positive) communities, it's almost impossible to find new streamers.
When heading to the browse directory, there's an option: "Show me", where you can select Channels. Perfect. However, this shows just the most popular streamers mostly playing the games we don't want to see. There's a second filter: "Streaming from", which is even more irrelevant for the…

Make a category for Visual Novels/Dating Sims This would be similiar to the category retro for and it makes a lot of sense, because people who enjoy watching visual novels usually don't have a particular game in mind, they would enjoy scrolling through the games that are live right now.

Divide portuguese languages according to country It's very hard to find streamers from Portugal in the middle of so many Brazilian streamers (Brazil has almost 20 times the population of Portugal), dividing it by Portuguese (BR) or Portuguese (PT) would make things a lot easier. This is the standard in programs, subtitles and games, since we use a lot of different terms. I think both sides of the language would welcome this change.

Add filter by country in the channels directory. It seems a good idea to connect viewers to streamers from their own country. cultural dependencies can be capitalized on, right twitch?

puzzlescript Please add a PuzzleScript category for streams playing games made with the PuzzleScript game engine.
PuzzleScript is an open-source puzzle game engine with a not very small community of creators and players (it was the source of many games in Jonathan Blow's recent "Order of the Sinking Star"). A shared category would help viewers discover streams across its many small games and allow community bots to announce live PuzzleScript streams.
Official website: https://www.puzzlescript.net/
IGDB engine entry: https://www.igdb.com/game_engines/puzzlescriptCould Twitch provide an umbrella category for these streams, or clarify the appropriate process for requesting one? PuzzleScript games are often quite small,…

Add Category: "Doom Scrolling" I’d like to suggest adding a new Twitch category called “Doom Scrolling.”
This category could be used for streams where creators browse social media, Reddit, news feeds, short-form videos, memes, or other online content without focusing on a specific game or topic.

Add a "Randomizer" Category One of the biggest rises in the speedrunning / challenge run space has been the rapid rise of "Archipelago Randomizers", a system that allows for you to randomize the items across multiple games into a single, shared randomized experience.
This is great and allows for endless collaborations, but the problem is that it's currently hard to find people who are doing randomizers on Twitch at all, as they're scattered across all of the game categories they're doing the randomizer in.
Having a central category would make it easy for people to quickly find the "Randomizer" community on Twitch, and would…

Prevent Blocked/ Banned Creators from appearing on Recommended Home Page I have two channels who I have blocked and who have banned me showing up under the "recommended collabs" section of the home page while I'm streaming. It is very distressing due to not being able to delete them from that list. Please add a filter of some sort or a "not interested" or "do not show this creator" option next to their name.

art The Art category image feels outdated and could really use an update. A fresh, vibrant design showcasing various art tools and styles would help it stand out, especially against the eye-catching game categories. Bright, saturated colors would grab attention and attract more viewers to art streams.
This update could:
Better reflect the diversity of art on the platform.Make the category more inviting for new users seeking creative content.
Encourage more artists to stream, giving them the same visual recognition as game streamers.
Align with modern design trends and strengthen the art community on Twitch.
A new look would do…

New Planning Category Hello. I would like to suggest a new category specifically for Planners and Planning. I currently use makers and crafting as it is similar, but after talking to several creators, I have received the same feedback of desires for a new category!

Live Action Roleplaying I would like to recommend a category for Live Action Roleplaying or LARPing. This would allow for groups such as Belegarth/Dagorhir/Hearthlight/Amtgard/NERO and other LARPs to showcase their events/practices, but it would also provide a space for those who are crafting for LARP purposes, such as making armor/boffers or are telling stories/doing digital meet ups. This would help better define and categorize something that doesn't fit neatly into a single category and would provide an overarching place for this niche to exist in which currently touches: Sports, Crafting, Live Chatting, Art, and so many more categories.

any two words with a period in between result in a fake url in chat. my suggestion is just to get an up to date list of top domains so things like "panda.exe" don't generate a fake link in chat which can trigger twich's automod when links are disabled.

I don't wanna see booba streamers on my front page Every time I go on Twitch lately out of the 3 "channels we think you'll like" there is always at least 1 softcore ****/onlyfan streamer. I block one channel a day...
I don't want to see ***** and ***** on my front page! It's shameless! I get that it might happen sometime but it used to be pretty rare. Now it's recommended to me on a daily basis!!!! What is up with that?!!!

I think it would be neat if Twitch allowed affiliates and partners to give away 1 free sub a month. Neither the streamer nor the platform wo I think it would be neat if Twitch allowed affiliates and partners to give away 1 free sub a month. Neither the streamer nor the platform would make money off of this. Just like one freebee to give a community member for a month. Could be fun engagement with community and give back in a tiny way.
