1. tags

So about a week ago, I checked my channel analytics to see how I was doing. I scroll through everything to see what works and what doesn't, though, was surprised to find that some people who had been watching me had "originally" "found" me did so by looking for the tag Disabled Veteran.

You'll notice the two words that are being put in quotations. I do this specifically for 2 reasons:

1 - I have never and will never use the Disabled Veteran tag as I am not disabled, nor have I ever been in the military. I have great respect for all Veterans and would never want to advertise myself as such when I am not one.

2 - I sent in a support ticket regarding this and come to find out: the reason this tag shows for me is because someone who raided and hosted me at some point was using this tag.

I like having all the data I can possibly get my hands on to further better myself as someone who provides content and entertainment for people and the platform, but I feel this is something that misrepresents or, at the very least, doesn't accurately represent everything that occurred and leads to confusion.

My recommendation is simple. Instead of putting tags from others who have raided and/or hosted me have used into my personal analytics, I think there should a listing of tags of those who have raided and/or hosted me have used. Currently, the the subject for the listing of tags reads "Which tags are users filtering by to find my channel?" If someone raids me and uses a tag I either can't or will never use, that specific tag ends up under this particular heading which again, leads to a lot of confusion and depending on how large that raid/host was, completely skews the analytics. For reference: The Disabled Veteran tag which I have never used now accounts for 33% of all the viewers that have watched my channel. Although this very well may be true, this DOES NOT mean that they found my channel specifically because they found me using that tag. Instead, they found me because someone that does use it hosted me and this does not help my personal analytics whatsoever.

So add another header, something along the lines of "Which tags do those who have raided/hosted me use?" or "What tags have viewers searched to find those who have raided/hosted me searched for?" Something like this would show all tags those people use and search for, as well as allow me to see whether there is something I have not been utilizing and also does not skew the analytics of tags people were using specifically when then found me or anyone else.

2. Make all Twitch Search Tags Accurate

If I decide to go to the Search Tags, and I wanted to type in "Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Multiplayer" it should go directly to all Twitch Streamers that's playing Multiplayer only.

3. New Category

Can we create a category for "Miniature Painters". Art is very broad, and as much as we do fit in we often get lost and overshadowed by other subjects. If Video games have specific sections for specific games wouldn't it be wonderful if Miniature Gamers/Miniature Painters would get their own?

4. Merge every Armored Core game into 1 tag

So, barely anyone plays this game series, there are more than 13 games in it, if you want to search for someone playing any of them, which there is most of the time 0, it becomes a giant pain as it doesn't list the streams based on who is live or by last stream, it tries to search by 2 of the games specifically and then just randomly by title, there are times I found someone live more than 25 games down and the prior 24 were sometimes up to over 2 weeks ago. Can we make it just List all of the armored core games based on when the streams started if you just search armored core.

7. "Project SEKAI - Colorful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku."

Please change the full name of the game "Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage" to "Project SEKAI - Colorful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku."
The name of the game registered in IGDB is the same, but it is just based on English name and should not be left out of "Project," which means it belongs to Sega's Hatsune Miku Project Series.

9. More Focused Featured Content

I think it would be a good idea if when logging on to twitch that the main featured content inst specifically people that are the most viewed creators live but instead smaller communities that focus on the tags we use on our own streams, and/or even have a cycle that highlights various minorities.

12. Irrelevant genre category for Elder Scrolls Online

I'm seeing ESO categorized as a Stealth and Open World game. This leads to a struggle for people trying to find what other MMOs to play.

First of all ESO is a MMORPG, just because it has a character in game that has a ''stealth'' skill doesn't make the game STEALTH in category.

Open World description again is very misleading, all most every MMO out there is open world.

Maybe it is possible to change ESO's category from Stealth / Open World to RPG or MMORPG / Adventure

13. moderating channels section & moderating channels popup notification

On sidebar i suggest to put above the "followed channels" section a favourites one and/or those channels that we moderate coming live, to see them easier and get into them faster in a more accessible way
If you get graphically warned with for example an animated image of the mod sword symbol when a channel you moderate comes live would be great too

17. NFT Games

It is time to unify NFT games within the same category.

In this way, the streamer would be given the opportunity to play and analyze different NFT games in the same streaming, not having to be in the category of a single game.

Also the category closest to this, "Crypto", does not specifically represent this type of content.

How do I remove the LGBTQ+ filter from my suggested channel tags?
I really don't care, don't support, and don't want to see any LGBTQ+ tags in my Twitch space. I'm straight and such tags make me unsafe and anxious. I wish don't see any channels and any mentions of this community in my Twitch account - how could I do it?

19. Visibiity of Indie game and Developers

I'm asking to add "Indie game" as a category and not just as a tag. To begin I would like to site an original post that was Declined.

    https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310210-discover/suggestions/20615884-have-an-indie-category-like-retro-creative-irl-etc#comments

This letter was declined because the games are auto tagged as "Indie game". My counterpoint is that a common user doesn't know how to search by tag. It is not as accessible as the category search. For smaller streamers and game developers it is difficult for a casual user of the app/site to discover their content. For example "Adventure Lamp" has 4 Followers and is greatly unknown. It is a fantastic game, but under the current structure it is virtually impossible for this game to be found by casual viewers. A game in the Retro category can be found via thumbnail or inclusive streamer title. The visibility issue of the tag system is that options only appear under the Browse page of the app/site. From the home page, searching using the main search bar at the top of the screen does not allow a search for tags. It restricts the user experience, and forces the viewer to know the category or game title above all other search criteria. It also hinders the growth of small indie streamers.
    Thank You,

I am just trying to point out there are two retro channels and neither of them have anything close to an accurate total viewer count. They both lead to the same listing of streamer channels but have different viewer counts.
