1. Cyberpunk Trading Card Game Category

A category dedicated to the new trading card game Cyberpunk TCG. Booster pack openings, gameplay streams, card evaluations / discussions, etc.

Viewers who are interested in Cyberpunk TCG can easily find it on Twitch.

IGDB will not allow the addition / approval of a category such as this as it is a physical trading card game rather than a digital trading card game.

Many other physical trading card games have their own categories such as Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, Riftbound, Altered, etc.

   Would love to see this!

3. Anthology of the Killer - Excessively Granular Categories

Anthology of the Killer (2024) (PC/Steam) is, to my mind, a single game that is divided into 10 chapters and a bonus chapter. However, if one attempts to set their stream category to "Anthology of the Killer" one will rapidly discover that the category does not exist. The game is on IGDB but it is classified as a "Bundle." The names of the 10 individual chapters within the game are the available "categories" as they exist on Twitch. This is a deeply unhelpful level of atomization that genuinely makes no sense from any perspective.

To begin with, is Anthology of the Killer actually a "bundle" and what does that really mean from the IGDB perspective? The individual chapters, Voice of the Killer, Hand of the Killer, etc have never---at least in as far as I can tell--been released as individual games on Steam nor have they been released individually on Itch.io. If one wishes to play them, then one must purchase and run ONE (1) single game: Anthology of the Killer.

The individual chapters are accessed within the auspices of the game itself. We don't atomize Quake 1 into separate Twitch categories for Dimension of the Doomed, The Realm of Black Magic, The Netherworld, and The Elder World. Moreover, those separate episodes of Quake are all accessed from within Quake itself. All of Anthology of the Killer's episodes are accessed from within Anthology of the Killer. So why that double standard?

Furthermore, that level of categorical atomization (or perhaps Balkanization) is deeply unhelpful for the user experience. Many streamers who are more concerned with engagement than metadata are already loath to stream outside of larger categories such as Retro because it potentially hurts their reach. Having a single game split up into 10 separate categories certainly does nothing for those folks.

Yet it's worse for metadata people (which is to say people like me) who DO like to stream in the game-specific category for the game they're playing. Now I have to do a bunch of pointless book-keeping at a minimum of every 15 minutes if I want my categorical metadata to remain accurate even though I'm playing the same game I was playing 15 minutes ago.

It doesn't help anyone who might potentially want to follow Anthology of the Killer as a category. Instead of following one category for the game they're suddenly burdened with following 10 categories. This probably counts against their follow limit, which is also no good at all.

The only reason I can assume that someone did this is that each chapter in Anthology of the Killer is accompanied by a movie poster representing the chapter. These posters happen to be formatted in such a way that they make theoretically interesting category cover images on Twitch. I say "theoretically" because in truth the posters don't visually parse when reduced to the size of a postage stamp. This is an example of aesthetics over practicality where even the aesthetic goal doesn't bear out in the end product.

Whether or not Anthology of the Killer remains classified on IGDB as a "bundle" (and I question whether that state of affairs should remain as is; it probably shouldn't but I'm hesitant to be the one to change it), it should be turned into a single category on Twitch. Having it split up into 10 separate categories with no obvious interrelation to each other is terribly unhelpful for users trying to find streamers playing the game, irritating for streamers attempting to stream in the category (categories--plural--at this juncture), awful for metadata overcomplication, misrepresents the structure of the game itself, and is a nightmare to deal with all around.

The situation must be amended; it should all be rolled up into a single "Anthology of the Killer" category even if a special exception must be made within the IGDB -> Twitch uptake system. The present state of the matter is wholly untenable with nothing whatsoever to commend it.

4. How to Win in Colour Prediction Game?

Winning in a Colour Prediction Game depends mainly on luck, but playing smart can improve your experience. On platforms like Sikkim Game, start by understanding how each round works before placing bets. Begin with small amounts and observe results carefully. Set a fixed budget and never spend more than you can afford to lose. Avoid chasing losses, as results are random and cannot be predicted. Take regular breaks to stay calm and focused. Choose simple options and play patiently. Remember, colour prediction games are meant for entertainment, not guaranteed winnings. Playing responsibly helps you enjoy the game safely.

5. Twitch, It’s Time to Recognize the Small & Mid-Level Streamers Who Built This Platform

For years, small and mid-level streamers have been the beating heart of Twitch. Creators who show up day after day, building communities, spreading positivity, entertaining viewers, and keeping this platform alive.

But too many of us have become invisible. While new and large creators are being discovered, but the ones who’ve been here for years grinding, growing, and holding this community together are often left behind.

We’re not asking for handouts. We’re asking for recognition, for visibility, and for Twitch to finally look at the creators who never gave up.

Many of us have streamed through burnout, algorithm shifts, and constant competition, all because we believe in what Twitch stands for; community, creativity, and connection. Each and every day, more long-time standing creators give up, not from lack of passion, but from feeling completely unseen.

Twitch, we’ve been here since the beginning and we’re the ones who helped you grow. It’s time to show that the loyalty, consistency, and community-building that small and mid-level streamers bring matters.

If you’re a creator or viewer who believes small to mid level streamers deserve a real chance to shine, then vote for this post.

Share it, Spread it and let Twitch see that we are still here, and we’re not giving up.

Let’s make sure Twitch hears the voices of the creators who built its foundation by telling your story.

6. How fast can you accept crypto payments with a link?

Hey guys, I recently tried using crypto payment links for my small online store, and honestly, I was shocked at how fast it worked. I just sent the link to a customer, and within minutes, the payment was confirmed. Never thought crypto could be this instant without messy wallets or bank transfers.

11. "Sort by Consistency"

Displayed value in this filter is active weeks (0-999+).

Value increases each week by one after 3h+ of streaming. Else the value resets to 0 weeks again.

This way you can find 1 viewer streamer that are reliable and worth an average viewer's time and make growth of small communities more probable

EDIT: To allow holidays, one could for example add highest score after. "Streamername 5w (pb: 32w)"

13. Twitch Guilds Worldwide

It's incredibly hard for some creators to get opportunities, especially when they're not based in the US.

Twitch ANZ had fantastic opportunities like Grass Roots, Māori, NAIDOC, Pride and Creative showcases and now they look to be no more-

Twitch ANZ seemingly has been abandoned due to the recent layoffs, and it's already so hard for OCE creators to get opportunities.

At this current time, we cannot apply for Twitch Guilds as they are US-based only. I would love for Twitch to try and include more countries or even have separate guilds for other areas of the world to reduce over-saturation of single guilds.

I know this would mean the world to my fellow AU and NZ creators to have the opportunity to feel a bit more included within Twitch Global again and to be able to continue to network and do great things with each other. Plus, I feel creators in other countries would also greatly benefit from this idea.

14. Does we can Do Colour Prediction Game stream on Twitch?

Many people enjoy playing and watching colour prediction games online, but you may wonder if you can stream them on Twitch. The answer depends on the type of game and its rules. Twitch allows game streaming if the content follows its community guidelines and doesn’t involve real gambling. If the colour prediction game, like OK Win Game, is just for fun or for virtual rewards, then it’s usually fine to stream. However, if it includes real money betting, Twitch may not allow it. Always check the platform’s latest policies before you go live to stay safe and compliant.

15. Lost Trades

We propose the creation of a new, unified category: "Lost Trades." This hub is designed to solve critical discoverability problems for two major underserved content types: the Traditional Variety Presenter (the Jack/Jane/Enby of All Trades) and Specialized, Humanistic Niche Skills (like Puppetry, restoration, and forgotten crafts).
These valuable creators are currently lost as their content is misclassified under gaming's Retro category or the too-broad Art/Makers & Crafting categories.
    I. The Market Rationale: Why "Lost Trades" is Essential
The current structure fails to support content defined by skill-based variety and a focus on non-visual performance/discussion.
Solves the Variety Problem: This category provides a dedicated home for the Traditional Variety Presenter who shifts topics frequently (e.g., cooking, history lectures, small repairs). This skill-based variety is currently penalized by the massive single-topic streams in Just Chatting.
Creates Niche Communities: It allows forgotten arts (like Puppetry or Calligraphy) to move out of the overwhelming Makers & Crafting pool, enabling them to form viable, searchable communities that attract dedicated viewers.
High-Value Monetization: The focus on skills, history, and craftsmanship offers clear, high-value targeting for specialized advertisers in collecting, craft supplies, historical organizations, and small business toolkits.
    II. Category Structure and Segmentation
To maintain the necessary variety and ensure proper search filtration, the "Lost Trades" category will rely on mandatory tags functioning as internal sub-filters:
#TraditionalVariety: For the Jack/Jane/Enby of All Trades; skill-based demonstrations and knowledge-sharing with frequent topic shifts.

HistoricalSkills: Content related to antique restoration, vintage repair, and historical research (e.g., genealogy, metalworking).

NichePerformance: Specialized, often forgotten arts like puppetry, calligraphy, acoustic storytelling, and unique crafts.

PublicDomain: Showcasing of freely shared films, music, or archives.

    III. Category Definition and Boundaries
The description below ensures the category's integrity and directs inappropriate content elsewhere, aiding Twitch moderation.
    Category Description: Lost Trades
The dedicated hub for skill-based variety, historical arts, and specialized performances whose content is not served by Art, Makers, or Gaming. This category celebrates the Jack/Jane/Enby of All Trades and preserves traditional, humanistic skills.
Please Note: This is for streamers focused on demonstrations, skill-sharing, or specialized crafts. Streams dedicated solely to gaming, professional art, music performance, or general non-thematic chatting must use their specific categories.

16. Recommended Followed Channels Bias Toward High Viewers

As the description says: Recommended Followed Channels Bias Toward High Viewers.

I have MANY friends who are "small-time twitch streamers". As well as I'm part of many communities--that aren't necessarily "big shot streamers".

But now I'm seeing these 50 or less viewer channels near the bottom of my "Followed Recommended"??? If I wanted big-time streamers, then I'd switch the sorting to "top viewers".

Please revert back to the way it used to be Twitch, thank you <3
