Tags for channel/community The ability to set tags for a channel, or community, which are permanent until manually changed, and separate from the tags for a stream. With the new influx of tags for identity or community description, it's difficult for people to describe both their community, and their content. Additionally, the community tags would be something that would be the same for EVERY stream for most people, and would give viewers an idea of what a channel is about, even when they are offline, thereby helping people find communities that they can relate to and make it easier on streamers who want…

3 Ideas that will improve the Followed channels list Three improvements that I would love to see are that
the Followed channels list is in alphabetical order, but in 2 ways; an alphabetical list of ALL followed channels online, and another alphabetical list for ALL followed channels offline
Showing the entire list of followed channels, both online and offline, without having to click on "Show More" dozens of times, as this really makes no sense.
Showing every single person that you follow, as I have noticed that some of the Twitch channels I follow are not listed. How am I supposed to find them if they're not on the…

Saved tags A feature that lets u save tag clusters. For example, i play 3 different games and stream and i have to manually write all the tags that are relevant but if i change game then i have to do the whole process all over again but if i could save those specific tags as 'Tags save #1' or 'tags for so-and-so game', it would lessen time in preparing monumentally.

Stop Showing Followed Channels in the "Live Channels We Think You'll Like" Section If I follow a channel already, why does it continuously show up in the "Live Channels We Think You'll Like" section? What about this makes sense?
Please adjust your algorithm to remove already followed channels from this area and show non-followed channels only.

Bouldering/Climbing Category I have a very new and unique stream on Twitch, Which gets lost in the contaminated and incorrectly titled streams in Fitness and Health. I seem to find that a lot of streams are Hot tubs or People falling asleep and claiming it is health as their reasoning.
I would like to have a Category dedicated to the Climbing and Bouldering side of things as a fitness activity, that is also a recognised sport too.

Specify category for streams I have noticed several times and have seen myself that there are streamers who stream without specifying a game or just chatting to get around various things like DMCA etc. on Twitch.
To make life a little more difficult for such streamers, Twitch should require streamers to specify a category for streams.

Get found on Twitch search for record breaking and more. I am currently the record holder of most live streams in a row/ daily. The old record was 2000 in a row and as of tonight Nov 6 2021 I am at 2358 days.
I don't know of any programs or hey check this channel out for this record he set or any way to get noticed for doing incredible things. There hopefully will be a way for those channels that work incredibly hard to get noticed or put somewhere where people can find them.
Just an idea or something to help small channels out that deserve views and growth…

computing There should be a category to group all those who are dedicated to some field of computing, since currently the Science and technology section makes it difficult to find a specific topic on computing and must live with direct cats, rabbits and in general any subject of natural sciences more than of the technological field
Debería existir una categoría para agrupar a todos los que se dedican a algún ámbito de la computación, ya que actualmente la sección de Ciencia y tecnología, hace que sea difícil encontrar un tema específico sobre la computación y debe convivir con directos de gatos,…

Category for Volleyball I think it would be helpful to have a category for volleyball (the sport) as opposed to the game volleyball. Given some volleyball leagues like Athletes Unlimited have put their game broadcasts live on Twitch, and other streamers like me are streaming their own live games, it would be a useful category to have given the exploding club volleyball scene.

Improve blacklist sourcing for recommendation algorithms Motivation: Having 1/3 of the user's frontpage recommending unwanted items is not cool.
Current situation:
While there is the feature "Removing recommendations you are not interested in", the "3 vertical dots" menu is not provided for the topmost recommendation made in the frontpage.
It is also the only way to blacklist recommendations too, which is insufficient to capture user's intention, despite of how crucial recommendation is to UX.
Proposed solutions:
Add the 3 vertical dots to the topmost recommendation
Allow manual blacklist input in the settings page. Considering the team has already forgot to add the 3 vertical dots to…

Add more "generic" gaming Categories; for example the Retro category It is from my experience that the Retro tab is the most streamer friendly category for starters, since the viewers who browse the category usually are just scrolling it in hopes to find something interesting to watch without having to look for someone or some game specific. This ends up creating a very good growing spot for smaller streamers since it can be more easy to attract viewers by just playing whatever retro game without having to use that game's specific category that usually noone would be looking at
For example: right now there are very few people watching donkey…

Discoverability I have an idea for increasing Discoverability on the platform. Twitch already tracks what channels users already watch which then is used to recommend viewers to new "similar" channels that they might enjoy, but from my experience very few people actually take the initiative to go into their channel and watch. I think that for this approach to work you need to brute force people into trying out new streams by having a sort of "reward" system where you get rewarded in either bits or subs to the creator by watching for longer periods of time. This will make more…

On the Topic of Identity Tags Solution Hey Twitch, how to create a tag that can include everyone and identities? Simple, treat it like Twitter treats hashtags. Customizable, searchable, clickable, and can trend. Two customizable tags to add per stream customizable each stream. With user utilization this can lead to specific areas of creative or terms that harassment trolls won't know offhand but growing communities that band together behind a tag, like groups, but more easy to lead to discovery or search.

List of Tags to Choose From If someone is a variety caster it would be helpful to have tags in sets so the streamer can choose from one set of tags they chose for each category of stream.
Example:
Set 1: PvE, Mode: Survivial
Set 2: Outdoors, IRL
Set 3: Cooking, Baking2 votes
