Create Official Twitch Cybersecurity & Streamer Safety Classes (Prevent Swatting, Doxxing, Extortion) As the live streaming landscape evolves, cyber criminals, malicious actors, and hackers are increasingly targeting creators. Streamers urgently need official, structured, and accessible education to protect themselves from severe online threats that disrupt their livelihoods and compromise their physical safety.
I am proposing that Twitch develops a dedicated Twitch Cybersecurity Training Program (such as specialized Creator Camp modules, interactive safety classes, or certified safety streams) to teach creators how to defend against modern digital threats.1.Preventing Swatting & Doxxing: How to proactively scrub personally identifiable information (PII) from the internet, secure digital footprints, mask IP addresses, and set up a…

Stop "fixing" what's not broken! Stop forcing recommended on to people. It's garbage. Nobody wants it or asked for it. You all keep changing basic features on the platform and none of the changes have been good. Every change is for Twitch's profit margins rather than genuine quality of life improvements for its users. I don't care that your nephew started streaming last weekend and believes he deservers 1k viewers. Change it the **** back and never do that god awful shopping tab again. You all tried tried to be sneaky about it too putting it so close to the browse button. Just trifling. ****…

Make it easier to distinguish AI-streams from real ones Put 3 buttons at the top of a list of streams (AI only, no AI, both)
Or add 'Hide AI' to the 'Hide Content With Content Classification Labels' section
Or split the list of streams into two columns

Can we add a category for Biorand? The Biorand community is large and growing everyday but there isn't a category to use for running Biorand so are switching categories a lot or just using one of the resident evil game titles at random, it makes it hard to find biorand streams as well to watch. This is a big category and even a large streamer involved charity event each January too! It seems silly to not have a category of their own. Plus it can be used to cover any Resident Evil Randomiser that people want to play and make things so much easier. Please add this…

stop turning notifications off for channels I follow you need to stop with the automatic turning off of notifications on channels that we follow. its annoying when you do that. I should be able to decide who I get notifications for and who I don't want them from. I am following channels for a reason so that means I want the notifications so that way I can chose to go to their streams. instead of wondering if the streamer is still streaming or not. it was a dumb idea to begin with to have something turn the notifications off automatically. Let me decide who I get notifications from.…

I would like to see Nightshade for PlayStation 2 added to the game categories. I would like to see Nightshade for the PlayStation 2 added to the game categories tags. I’ve see so many random obscure tags for games with little to no following. Even fan made homebrew games. But for some reason, this one is absent. People stream it from time to time, but have to use the wrong tag for it. I have streamed it before, and would like to again. Please consider adding this game to the list.

Delete duplicated Super Mario Galaxy directories With the recent rerelease of Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 on Switch the directories on Twitch duplicated. Can you please delete them and make sure to only keep 1 of each?
Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/jd88aQz.png
I must add: please don't delete the ones that most people already followed, it would be a shame and a big hit for the community.

Request for a dedicated category or Freestyle Rap/ Improv Request for a Dedicated “Freestyle Rap / Improv” Category on Twitch
Description:
Freestyle rap has been an active, evolving, and highly engaging form of live content on Twitch—long before the pandemic sparked a wave of digital creativity. I personally launched my freestyle series in December 2019 under the name Scessions, and since then, the community has exploded.
Freestyling is not just a genre—it’s a live artform that combines music, improv, community engagement, and creativity in real-time. It blends well with Twitch’s interactive spirit and deserves its own official category to increase discoverability, support creators, and grow a thriving culture.

Sort view count from low to high For some of us, it's difficult to follow anyone who has a higher follower count, because they always come at the top of the follow list, and we have to scroll all the way down to find anyone who needs support. Which is a problem. You can sort by high views to low, but not from low to high, and looking through a large list when trying to raid is obnoxious. We want to be able to easily find people who are not getting a lot of views so we can properly support them and raid out in a timely…

Theatre Please give us a Theatre / Theater / Performing Arts category. Musical, dance, acting, technical - we need more representation on Twitch. I am a theatre technician and I enjoy broadcasting my work, but I don't have any specific community or category to stream for. Art has their lovely place.. so why can't the "performing" arts peeps or theatre kids get the same treatment?

Twitch SIDEBAR changes for more visibility for smaller streamers. ISSUE: The expand sidebar option is not present when you are not using twitch in a full screen window, if you want to have a twitch window in side-by-side mode it does not let you use the sidebar effectively. I am asking Twitch help restore the discoverability of small streamers and the interaction between streamers and make it easier for creators to raid at the end of a stream. The sidebar is the first thing you see on desktop, but you cannot see smaller streamers in the follower Section. ISSUE: I had thought a lot of my peer streamers and…

TwitchZone A ZoneFriends-Inspired Social Client for Twitch — feature idea
TwitchZone would be a standalone desktop client that brings the soul of the old MSN Gaming Zone's ZoneFriends client to the Twitch era. Instead of tracking which lobby your friend is playing in, it tracks which channel they're watching, when a streamer they love goes live, and gives you a single click to jump in alongside them exactly the way the Zone let you follow a friend into a room in 1999.
Twitch already has a follow system, but it's flat and passive. You see that someone is watching, not what…

Art Conservation & Restoration I am thinking of streaming some of the work I do on twitch! It is a niche that is quite popular on YouTube and TikTok, but a live format would be even nicer since I can show people what I do and answer questions in real time. I hope we can make this happen!

Adding a Modding Category I would like to suggest the creation of a "modding" category on Twitch. This could provide moderators like myself a dedicated space to showcase our contributions and connect with the community, further enhancing Twitch’s safe and engaging environment.

Esports Tab Twitch's discoverability for different forms of content has long been a pain point for the organization, its creators, and its users. Creators have to rely on third party sites and platforms to drive traffic to their channels, users have to rely on streamer collabs and word of mouth to find new content and creators, and Twitch itself tried multiple products to help discoverability. To this date, the only effective one is the directory - which is one distinct advantage Twitch has over other competitors in the space.
To further maintain an organizational advantage over other streaming sites in the space,…

stream with delay "Stream with Delay" is a specialized non-gaming category and broadcast concept designed for content creators, event hosts, and production teams who utilize an intentional time offset during live broadcasts. This category encompasses live events where a deliberate delay (ranging from seconds to minutes) is implemented for strategic or production purposes, such as preventing stream-sniping in competitive community events, managing live interactive elements, or running structured broadcast experiments. It focuses on the unique dynamics of delayed streaming and community management outside of traditional gaming.
