Watch Streamers in mini pop-out video player box mode as the defualt video player in their main stream (on their channel page) Have an option to watch any stream in the mini pop-out player, as the default player to watch.
It helps when you have slow or disconnecting internet speeds, or the streamer only has a large resolution display option for their stream at or over 720 p, etc., to watch their stream in the mini pop-out box/it's more stable and faster loading for slower internet users.

1440p 60fps stream quality option 1080p in 2023 is a tad dated given the advancement in panel resolution standards and accessibility, coupled with the widespread availability high bandwidth internet connectivity - An option to stream at 1440p 60fps would be great. It'll be playable and crisp on a 4k display without looking too grainy, and streams will be most crisp for all using 1440p displays (I don't have any 1080p displays and my viewing experience is unimpressive as this doesn't upscale as well). Details and clarity are important when viewing competitive esports content.

Optimize Twitch Honestly, I don’t know what exactly needs to be done, but twitch, unlike the same YouTube, always lacks Internet speed. I watch streams via wifi. Through the Windows task manager, I often see that twitch consumes over 20 Mbps and uses 70% of my processor. At peak moments of using the Internet, streams and recordings of streams do not freeze, but the speed constantly increases from 0 to 20 Mbps and falls back, at times when it is below 10 Mbps or I open even the usual "new tab" in Google stream or its RECORDING (it's like a regular YouTube…

An errorless twitch using private relay on safari Twitch is not optimised for macOS safari. Errors include #2000, #3000, and rarely #4000. These bugs do not occur on Google chrome, with #3000 being an exception. Cookies have been cleared, history wiped, pc restarted, account logged out/in, the codes still persist. No ad blockers, content blockers, or VPNs other than apples private relay that’s included in their service subscription; iCloud+

AV1 Encoding Support AV1 encoding support should be a priority add to the website. AV1 encoding is a big improvement in visual quality to streams over CPU and GPU encoding options. Discord already added it, and I believe YouTube has it as well, it's very surprising to me that Twitch hasn't added this and there isn't even an ETA on it being added yet.

If I pause, pause! If I replay a VOD and want to pause it and watch something on another tab, even though I paused it, if I click to another browser tab, the VOD resumes within a few seconds. And so I have to click back to the VOD tab to pause it. And I can only do anything else if I close the twitch page, otherwise the VOD starts, which I would pause if I could.

Sebu2014 I've seen to other players that you can minimize the player to run over the desktop and you can do whatever anything else. The player is resizeable and runs as primary over the program/game you're using. Like for example you can play some game and watch a movie in a part of the screen. Would be a nice idea to do on twitch too

Middle East I live in Saudi Arabia and there is no server near us
All Gulf countries suffer from the same problem, and our audience is very strong, and we have all the required capabilities and qualifications, but unfortunately, to this day, we suffer from the problem that we do not have any servers in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, etc.

Audio I feel like there is alot of room to improve in the Audio Quality Area. Twitch should have a Dolby Atmos or DTS or 360 degree audio decoder and encoder for the Music Streams. Especially the Dj Streams. That is the upcoming new audio technology and with Nividia Broadcast and their drivers it will be a perfect fit.

Stop the recent bug that's forcing users to click four (4) times to get a live stream to actually play! I'd like to report the bug the appeared this past month whereby it takes 4 (four) click attempts to get a live stream to play! As I user, I'm fed up with both the bug that didn't exist before last month (November, 2022). Please fix this.

Video playback broken on Apple devices I can't watch anything on Twitch on my Apple devices (Mac, iPad, Apple TV) due to frequent audio/video desynchronisation, like (nearly) every time I try to watch something, and sometimes a several seconds difference between audio and video.
And, for the record, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+ and YouTube (nearly) never exhibit this issue, I can only remember YouTube occasionally being slightly out-of-sync, like once every several hundred videos.
Please fix!
