Help or Suggestions to viewers watching a Stream who keep buffering. A video should pop up when it notices lots of buffering that suggest the user to lower the quality. Countless times people have been watching my stream and I just suggest lowering the quality and it works for them.

More quality options for small/non-partnered channels You should provide more quality options for the smaller Twitch channels as well as non-partnered channels. Right now, you can only have more quality options if you are a streamer with a high amount of viewers or a Twitch Partner. This means that the quality is stuck on "Source" and cannot be altered whatsoever. This needs to be changed. I am on a Chromebook and I can't watch a whole 1080p60/30 or 720p60/30 quality stream without the stream constantly buffering every few seconds. When it stops buffering, it 'plays' the stream for about a few more seconds before it starts…

add the ability to lower quality for less loading make it so i can set the quality of all the streams i watch to 480p so it doesnt load as much or add the ability to go back in the stream like a minute so it doesnt load as much, because i have bad wifi (like many others) and i dont like how it loads then skips back to live

Reverse the autoquality change when stream isn't the active tab It's been a few weeks since Twitch changed how stream quality auto changes based on whether the tab is in the current tab/window or not. This change automatically lowers the quality of streams to 480p (or lower) for streams not in the current tab, and when the stream is tabbed back into focus it does not always resume the originally selected quality.
This is affecting multiple browsers, with or without extensions, so this is seems very much a Twitch end feature to lower data use.
This change however has resulted in some issues:
-More buffering
-Streams hanging/pausing when tabbed out …1 vote -
host/unhost issue I use auto host when i am not streaming, however when i got live the host remains... which is fine. however last night (at this point) when the person i was hosting ended for the night it ended my stream as well... which caused a loss of stream to be seen by 5.5 hours. that is insane! Granted i hadn't noticed until i had gone back. how do you expect newer streamers to be aware of this "broken hosting system". Please either put in your KB's that Twitch can't handle the demand of that and for it to not kill…

After the recent BunnyHop incident harden the embed link feature against abuse As we all know by know the recent bunnyhop incident showed, that the way this feature is offered today might actually lead to ways of URL grabbing and harvesting.
The way it is designed today makes it easy to replace it and harvest many streams as content.
"<!-- Add a placeholder for the Twitch embed -->
<div id="twitch-embed"></div><!-- Load the Twitch embed script -->
<script src="https://player.twitch.tv/js/embed/v1.js"></script><!-- Create a Twitch.Player object. This will render within the placeholder div -->
<script type="text/javascript">
new Twitch.Player("twitch-embed", {channel: "itmkoeln"
});
</script>"Even if that gets moved in the dashboard instead…

Fix your streams because they lag every ******* five seconds. It's not my internet or my browser because I can stream off Youtube just fine. Fix your ******* buffering. It's making streams literally unwatchable... unless I want to watch five seconds of stream followed by ten seconds of buffering.

VOD reliability Twitch VOD playback fails frequently and inconsistently. Sometimes I can reload and continue in progress, other times it returns me to the beginning of the stream. I don't have this issue with any other streaming platform including Prime Video, YouTube, Netflix, Peacock, etc.

Video decoding problems. Twitch video seems to be decoding on my 3D cores and video decode consecutively. AMD Radeon VII. This is a problem beginning in the middle part of this year 2020. While playing Scar Citizen load seems to begin shifting between the 3D cores and video decode. Video decode should never touch my 3D cores or I should have an option in my settings to set stream decoding to "Video decode only!" Performance was perfect before now streams are prone to studders and freezing when my GPU is under heavy load.
