Mods shouldn't be able to use blocked words/phrases in chat If a word/phrase is blocked in a streamer's chat, mods should not be allowed to send chat messages that include that word/phrase either. Just because they are a mod in the channel doesn't mean the streamer wants to see the word/phrase come from them either.
It's also unfair to expect every single mod of a channel to remember every word/phrase a streamer has blocked so they don't use it. It's a simple fix that i think would benefit everyone on Twitch.

Chat history to remain when watching Twitch on mobile (iOS Android). I would like the chat history to remain when watching Twitch on mobile (iOS Android).
A new feature was recently implemented that allows users to keep a chat history when watching from a PC, and I would like to see the same feature implemented for mobile (iOS Android) viewing!

先日PCから視聴するときにチャットの履歴が残るという新機能が実装されましたが、モバイル(iOS Android)での視聴でも同様の機能を実装してほしいです

Poll time Please allow poll timer to be longer than 10 minutes. I stream roughly between 11-15 hours 3 days a week. When I run a poll like? “What game would you like to see next stream?” That’s an all day poll. Having to “stop” the stream to retype every 10 minutes (if I remember to look), writing down the results, telling viewers not to vote in this poll if they voted previously, etc… is really time consuming. Keep everything else the same with the poll. Just extend the timer to maybe 24 hours. Or until streamer manually ends the poll (not…

chat rules when you click to chat in the first time in a stream, the chat rules appears, and I think the majority of people don't actually read the rules, and a good idea would be that the streamer sets an amount of time that the chat rules stay there, then people actually read the rules.

GIF chat improvements The GIFs in chat are an okay idea but as the feature stands, there is a lot of room for improvement. I feel the following could help a lot with the chat experience when using GIFs:
At this time, streamers can only enable or disable the feature.
Allow the Streamer to change the setting of the cooldown. As of right now the default (and only available) cooldown is 30 seconds, which doesn't help at all with spam prevention.
Allow the Streamer to change the size of the GIFs by a certain amount of %. Right now their size is simply…

Gif Keyboard include Gipyh Creator Account in Search Gif Keyboard search currently only shows Gifs uploaded by brand accounts.
I would love my community to be able to use my gifs that are available on e.g. discord/whatsapp/slack already. These were uploaded with a giphy creator account and currently Twitch Search only returns Gifs uploaded by brand accounts.
So my suggestion would be to extend the search to also include giphy creator account gifs.
I chatted with the Giphy support for a bit and they told me a Twitch Streamer in itself is not eligble to be certified as a brand account as this is reserved for companies.

Change Clips back to the way it was before In the past when i wanted to make a clip in a Stream it would open up in a seperate tab making it easy to navagate and make clip. I don't like how Twitch changed the clip option , i don't like the new layout. Please Twitch change this option back to the way it was before.

Add "Do not show this pop up anymore" on automated Twitch messages Twitch posts various automated messages for users in chat such as "celebrate your subscription". There's a new one I keep seeing asking me to make a clip for the channel I'm watching. I do not ever want to see that message and cannot find a way to disable Twitch from sending it every half hour or so. Adding an option to disable it in the "three dots" button for the messages would be helpful.

Shared Chat: Allow sending message to own channel only During shared chat sessions, allow chat bots (connected via IRC or EventSub + Helix Send Chat Message, both streamer account and bot account) to send a message to only the streamer's channel. With multiple users in shared chat, it easily gets flooded by the multiple chatbots.

Hide/show channel emotes in emote selector or allow ordering Implement hiding of channel emotes in emote selector and/or ability to reorder them. We are subbed/gift subbed to many channels and bloating the emote selector. This allows users to hide unused channels or reorder them to reduce time it takes looking for emotes and improving chat experience by not missing a moment to respond due to looking for emotes.

Mirror whispers to chat: Mods to Streamers Twitch staff here. A streamer mentioned they'd love if there would be an option to have whispers from their Mods to appear in their chat and be highlighted. The streamer mentioned they use pop-out chat and primarily uses the chat of engagement, and this would help them keep the flow of their stream without having to pause and click through the Whispers window to see specific messages.
In addition, maybe add an option for everyone to toggle having whispers mirrored to a chat if they are watching a stream with the @USERNAME and a notice it is a whisper. Just…

Anonymous Poll An option to add "Hide other's vote until the poll is closed" Would be fun, so people vote for what they want rather than have a race between 2 options

Timeout limit increase The current limit for a /timeout is set to 2 weeks, it would be nice if this could be increased to a 3 week or month limit, this allows you to truly filter out some people while still easily giving them a chance to re-appear but not needing to straight up ban and adding a mod-comment to the userprofile. Not to mention bans tend to be forgotten if the user doesn't send in an unban-request.

Whitelist whispers from your followers / subs only setting Similar to the setting to Block whispers from strangers. Have a secondary option that re-allows whispers from your followers, or a higher level your subscribers only.
"Want to be famous" bots have been circumventing filters in chat by whispering creators. There are legitimate reasons to want to have whispers open to your community, but currently the only option is to block whispers from strangers. A creator can't go around and follow/friend everyone of their followers.
A reason for including sub only (in addition to followers) would be reducing chance of harassment as subs are less likely to.

Smooth scrolling chat bar (rather than jumpy) There should be an option on twitch where you can have the chat sidebar smoothly scroll up, rather than move up immediately each time a new message is sent. The current view makes it so hard to follow along, as you have to constantly flick your eyes upward in some of the more quick moving streams.
The new option could speed up/slow down based on how much comment traffic is going on at the moment. Seems like a very easy idea for twitch to implement

language restricted chat When I mod I am told to time out ppl that post messages in other languages because the mods dont know what it says. It would be helpful if streamers could select what languages they want to allow in chat and twitch would automatically disable characters from other languages so they cant even be typed in chat in the first place

Feature Request: Custom Subscriber Titles for Community Recognition Hello Twitch Team,
I am a Twitch Affiliate and would like to submit a feature suggestion focused on improving community engagement and subscriber recognition.
The idea is to introduce a feature that allows streamers to assign custom titles to their Subscribers, which would be publicly visible within the channel (such as in chat, user interactions, or channel-related UI elements).
These titles would act as a symbolic form of recognition, helping strengthen the sense of identity and belonging within a community. Streamers could use them creatively, for example:
Titles based on subscription duration or loyalty;
Thematic or role-based titles tied to…

Watch Streak Leaderboard on Twitch Chat Aside from Leaderboard for Top Gifters and Leaderboard for Top Cheerers, I recommend adding Watch Streak Leaderboard. This is also to recognize consistent viewers of the channel aside from additional bonus channel points when they get 3-watch streak. Thanks in advance if this gets considered!
